Relics [Closed]

Jacob slid down the front of the tank before whistling in the direction of the Hammerhawk.
"I bet that one can really move."

Hira steps on the wing before sitting in the co-pilots seat. "Yep! And you get to drive it." She says as she leans back.

"What?" Jacob's eyes widened "oh no, I can't pilot one of those things, c'mon, get in the pilot's seat"

Hira shrugs before switching seats. "Alrighty, your loss." She says as she ignites the engine.

"Yeah, avoiding a fiery crash" he smirked "I'll be kicking myself for that later."

With a small groan the Hammerhawk lifts off the ground, the thrusters flaring to life. "Getting in?" Hira asks.

Jacob clambered into the passenger seat, taking a strong grip on the sides of the seat
"You're the better pilot" Jacob reiterated.

The K8 raises slowly starts moving forwards, the engine humming quietly. As Hira puts it into high gear the sound stays relatively low. "Huh, Vectored Fusion Air-Rams. Didn't know you could fit those on these." She mutters as she fires a pulse of the under-thrusters, causing the Hammerhawk to jump over the fence.

The craft suddenly leaped into the air like a stung rabbit, Jacob's grip on the seat tightened. With a high pitched whine the small vehicle rocketed through the trees, the crimson leaves were whipped up into a swirling typhoon of foliage.
