Divine Guidance Day Two [PLOT]

Waking up to the black skies outside the window what seem to characterise the land they are in, Lilliana lets out a loud yawn before blinking, Aphelion's head right in front of her and her hands having brought him close for extra heat in the night. Blushing slightly, she detaches herself from him and gets up, making sure not to disrupt any of the others either sleeping on the two double beds or on the floor, heading to the bathroom. Grabbing the nearest comb she could find, she straightens out her bed hair and rummages for some clothing, quickly putting on multiple layers before leaving again, heading into the kitchen to make the others breakfast, humming as she does so.

Aphelion was frozen. Of course not literally, Liliana kept him warm enough through the night. But sleeping by her is precisely what drove him to using the bodylock feature of his aura once again, making sure in his turmoil of a mind he wouldn't end up doing something lewdecchihentai to her. Still... waking up in the middle of the night due to another memory, he couldn't help but accept that the feeling on his upper back was rather pleasant. It could be achieved with Aoife, sure, but she wasn't around so... the priestess had to do.

At the moment, though, he was once again sleeping, dreaming of things that cannot be elaborated upon.

Lee couldn't sleep. He always found that is was easier to rest without sleep (and to avoid his re-occurring flashbacks) by relaxing and meditation, for as long as others would permit. Laying against one of the walls, he let the natural warmth of his fire kunai do the work of keeping in the heat. Lee opened his eyes in response to Lilliana's yawn. Why up so early? He closed them again, and let his hearing take over. Oh well, it's her choice. Moving back into a subconscious daze, he let his mind run its own course, developing many different scenarios of what was to come within the next few hours.

Naoto was perfectly fine in the cramped room. Sure, the beds were occupied and majority of the floor was too, but he had the privilege that gave him some space of his own. Stretching as the Lilliana's humming wakes him, Naoto sits up. He cranes his neck up and looks down, most of his companions, except Lee, still asleep. Stretching in his seat, he hears several satisfying cracks from his joints. True, the ceiling wasn't the most comfortable thing to sleep on but the space was worth it.

Xarias was wide awake now being not used to the cold and also because he wasn't used to having company nearby while he was sleeping. He shivered a bit in the sheets but piling over him didn't do any better to  warm him up. Deciding to stay up the rest of the night he also heads to the kitchen while wearing his scarf to keep warm, looking for something to warm him up.

A cup of hot cocoa will do. Is there any around here?

While heading to the kitchen he hears Lilliana humming a nice tune. Standing to the side as he listens in while watching her prepare breakfast. He walks to her side, picks up a pot, and starts filling it with water. "Fancy meeting you here this early in the morning, miss." he said while placing the pot on the stove while turning on the gas.

Arthur had begun to stir from his sleep, but didn't want to wake up, ever. He didn't understand why people insisted on getting up and moving around. Why couldn't they just stay in bed? So he decided he would stay in bed, long enough to make up for the time they are missing. It's for the good of the people. He decided, so went straight back to sleeping.

Slowly, Lí rouses from slumber, his mind dragging itself from the pleasant fog that muddles his thoughts. Eventually, he opens his eyes enough to see most of the party either asleep or still resting on the floor, with two of them currently in the kitchen. Carefully, he rises to his feet, and pads his way over to the kitchen, looking to get a cup of water to start his day off. "'Morning," he says, voice slurring slightly as his mind continues the process of waking up.

Nearly jumping as the two talk to her, she stops herself from cutting herself with the knife before sighing and turning around, "Jeez, don't have to jump scare me like that." Waving to Lí as a reply, she looks at the two, "I was always an early riser. Surprised you two are awake though, are you fine with sandwiches before we head out? Not as good of a cook as Aphelion as you can tell."

"Sandwiches are fine and I'm sure the others won't mind, and while you're doing that I'll make some cocoa." Xarias said, motioning to the pot of water he was heating. Noticing Li he says, "Good morning to you too."Leaving the pot on the stove he looks through the cupboard for some cocoa powder and some sugar. "Any of you want milk with your cocoa?" he said while rummaging through the fridge.

"Yes, please," Lí says as he grabs a cup and begins filling it with water. "Much smoother to drink that way." As soon as the tap is off, Lí begins swiftly downing the water, bringing the cup away with a sigh of contentment a few seconds later. Turning to Lilliana, he says, "Sandwiches will be fine. We can't spoil ourselves all the time."

Sam was up and sitting at the table, reading her magazine. She left her heavy coat on, and mask. God its cold here. She thought as she read along. She reached over to her sandwich she made and when she took a bite. She discovered it was frozen. She just sighed and put the sandwich back down. She went back to her magazine.

Nodding slightly, she spins the knife expertly around her thumb, "Can I have some milk in mine as well if at all possible? Also, are you two okay with meat in your sandwiches? I know Aphelion is a vegan, so wondered if anyone else is." Resuming, she quickly starts cutting the already prepared food into halves, humming once more.

Finishing a quick stretching routine, Naoto lets the rune on the ceiling dissipate, the panther faunus falling and landing, his soft shoes giving a soft thud before walking to the kitchen. "I would enjoy meat on mine, if you do not mind." He said, nodding politely at the people in the kitchen. "Do you need help with anything, Miss Knight?" He asked, pouring himself a glass of water from the fridge.

"I have no issue with eating meat," Lí answers, drawing more tap water before quickly downing the cup again. Hearing Naoto's offer, the effeminate young man turns toward Lilliana as well, silently following the pilot's example with a quirked brow.

"Milk it is then." Xarias said while taking a carton out of the fridge. "Meat is fine with me, miss. Good morning to you, Naoto. Do you want some hot cocoa?" Xarias said while getting a few mugs and preparing the ingredients. Taking the now boiling water off the stove he starts pouring it into three mugs then starts adding cocoa powder and milk into each mug. "How many lumps of sugar do you fellas want?" he said, while adding 3 lumps into his own mug.

Shaking her head, she grabs some plates and starts placing the pairs of Sandwiches on them, "I am fine, don't worry about me. Want to wake up the others? We could decide what to do about the way of travel between here and Khione. By foot, may take two hours-ish.. " Shrugging afterwards, she takes out two more slices of bread, and some ingredients, getting to work on Aphelion's super special vegan sandwich.

Opening his eyes as the majority of the team moved to the kitchen, Lee stood up and stretched the cold from his joints. Using a kunai as a make-shift hand warmer, he walked over to the kitchen. Seeing everybody up and about, he grabbed a seat nearby Sam. Eyeballing the frozen block that is her sandwich, he offered to help: " You wanna heat your sandwhich back up?" Offering up the kunai in his hands, letting it heat to the point of sufficient steaming. "This wont char it, but it would make that sandwich a little more edible than its current state."

Sam looked to him and smiled. She pulled out a pad and pen. She tried to write thanks down, but was to cold to make it neat. [Thnks You] Was what she came up with. She would do it her self, but flamethrower in small area, not smart.

"No prob." Sliding it across the table, he pulled another out from his pocket. "They heat up with an increase of kinetic energy; in other words, just spin it in your hands for a few seconds. That should make it stay warm for a few minutes." He takes a second to decipher the first word on her notepad. Noticing her hands shaking, he had to add: " Better yet, you might jut wanna keep it in your hands rather than your sandwich."

Sam smiled a bit. She spun it around in her hands, before putting it on her sandwich. The sandwich steamed, and thawed. Thank god. She handed the kunai back and took a bite out of her sandwich. Ah....finally a warm meal.

"Very well then." He said, bowing ever so slightly before turning back to the room. As he entered, he found it only had two more sleeping guests as he walked over to one of them. "Mr. King. Miss Knight would like to have a word with everybody." He said, in a stern audible voice.

Arthur makes a very audible, very grumpy groan as he is rudely awoken. But then he bolts upright, "Miss Knight?! What?! What does Aoife want?!" Arthur was clearly confused about where he was, easily confusing one 'Miss Knight' with another. very shortly after his brief display he looked around to find himself in an unfamiliar being spoken to by an unfamiliar face. That's when he remembered, and he calmed down instantly.

"You mean Ana? Okay, I'll be out of bed momentarily." With that, Arthur jumps out of bed, rummages through his bag and puts some clothes on. "What does she want?" Arthur asks the person who had rudely awakened him.

"It is simply a general meeting of everyone, Mr. King." Naoto said, raising an eyebrow quizzically at his sudden reaction. Aoife? "Not you, personally. Although I must say, I believe this is our first time speaking. It is nice to meet you, Mr. King." He said, extending a hand towards Arthur.

"Yes, I do believe it is our first time speaking. Nice to meet you." Arthur takes his hand and gives it a firm shake "Mind if I ask for your name? I am not aware of it as of yet." Arthur was pleased now that he'd remembered where he was and why he was there, and how he wasn't back in his dorm, it made a pleasant change to the norm.

Quickly finishing it, she places the sandwiches full of juicy Bacon to one side and the one sandwich she had made OF VEGAN FILTH for Aphelion on the side as she placed the used materials back away. Taking the plate and walking over to the only one she really knew, she places it in front of the boy's face while turning to Arthur and Naoto, "The sandwiches are done. Feel free to eat them before we decide. Better to think on a full stomach." Then turning back to the other one, she shakes him slightly by the shoulder before poking his cheek, "Hey. Wake up sleepy butt. Or I will eat your food for you."

When he didn't wake, she decided the only way was to cut off his breathing, using one hand to cover his mouth and the other to pinch his nose closed.
