Divine Guidance Day One [PLOT]

Monday Week 14.

The Airship station would have a rather new and modern feel to it, the main loading and offloading of passengers as well as cargo occuring over a cliff, walkways for each spanning a small distance before they meet their intended destination. The station, remarkably, has significantly more  people compared to other times, be this if they are coming back or going away from Vale for the upcoming New Year. It was only by luck the group had managed to meet each other, all given a list of names of Who they are to escort, and who each other are.  

Lilliana, looking over the ragtag group spots only one she knows well enough to talk to, Aphelion. Moving her suitcase over to him, she drops it by his feet as she smiles, "Well? What do we have here? Wouldn't of thought my father would allow a known pagan to escort me, never mind to my destination. Anyway, is this everyone? I mean, do you even know the others who are joining us? As I have names, but not faces..." Rubbing the back of her head as her androgynous voice and loose clothing make her seem more like a man, her hair being the only thing to even hint she is a girl, "Anyway! Once everyone is ready, we can take our ride,it will probably stop outside the city of destination, after all, they lack a place to land.

With a his, the airship's bay doors open, Naoto standing in the center of the doorway. Walking down the walkway, he finds Lilliana sitting by the docks, her green hair sticking out and easily identifiable in the throng of people going to and fro. Amazing how there was a free dock this time of the year. His hands folded behind his back, he walks up to her, though realizing she was talking to someone, Nao simply stands there, a few feet away, not wanting to interrupt.

Within the station proper, a fair, feminine looking young man rubs the back of his neck, briefly wondering why he agreed to take this job as he hopes that he can go without recognition. Then he remembers that there would be a good deal of traveling for this, and he'd be able to see more of the world.

Thinking back on the description of who he would be escorting, he quickly identifies her, and decides to try and become more familiar with his...client? Shaking off his brief confusion over the proper term, he walks over to introduce himself. "Good morning, I presume that you're Lilliana Knightl? I'm Lí," he says, his voice a soft tenor. After a brief moment, he offers his hand for a shake.

Sam walked on board with her mask and jacket on. This may be fun. She sat down next to Aphelion.

"Hey, I volunteered, y'know. We're kinda friends, right?" Aphelion grinned in his usual fashion, "I only know two other people here. Arthur is around somewhere and..." he chuckled as Sam sat down beside him, "This is Sam, a friend from my job."

He eyed Lilliana carefully before a soft expression appeared on his face, "...so I never did ask, but... how does it feel to be officially married?"

Xarias was admiring the build and framework of the ships being a bit different from the ones he used to ride. Seeing his temporary teammates he decided to save conversation for later when they were in the air. As enjoyable as flying may seem, once you get used to it it becomes boring after a few hours. He found a seat behind the others and just crossed his legs and waited for further orders.

Arthur seems to think he is late to this part as a lot of people had already gathered around Lilliana. He makes his way over to her gives a small wave so she knows he is ready, then places the base of his shield on the ground and leans on the top, ready to depart.

Sam just nodded to Aphelion. She waved to the other girl as well. Wonder why Aphelion is here?

Lee knew he was late. It was already a few minutes past his planned time of arrival, and he knew it. Making a mad dash through the throngs of people proved somewhat difficult, and with a sufficient amount of pushing and shoving, he arrived at the proper gate. "Damn. Why is it me that always has to be late?" He threw on his hood, and made his way over to the group, giving the client a brief "Lee, present." . Working his way over to Lí, he stood to the left and managed to whisper "How long did I take?"

Lilliana, looking over everyone and trying to put a name to everyone's face, she nods, "Like normal, I guess? Nothing really has changed, we still act like we did before, and all that." Laughing awkwardly, she gestures the airship, "We should probably board." Already moving to Naoto, she smiles at him in a friendly way of friendliness, "I suppose you are to fly us there? Should we show you our tickets, or can we just immediately board?"

As Lilliana turns to him, clasps his hands in front of him, bowing sightly. "Miss Knight, I presume." He said, giving a polite smile. "I trust that you, and your companions, are who you say you are. However, for a formality, I will require you to press your tickets against the scanner by the door." Stepping back, Nao projects his voice louder, clear enough for all around to hear even with the roar of the port. "All passengers for Miss Knight's expedition, please step this way. The airship is now boarding."

"Now if you'll follow me, Miss Knight, the airship awaits."

His handshake not being taken, Lí steps back to slightly distance himself from the center of everyone else and rubs the back of his neck, feeling awkward once more. When he hears the pilot's announcement, though, he pulls his ticket from a pocket inside his vest to prepare for boarding. 'Here we go...'

Aphelion stretched and cracked his neck, taking out the ticket which he was using as a bookmark and setting the book he was writing back into his bag - a small bag at that, holding his usual stuff: a few cooking utensils, some light snacks on the way, his brand new writing tools and a few magazines, the nature of which would and should be left ambiguous. He soon followed Lilliana.

Nodding, "Thank you for the help, I assure you that the others are trustworthy and will do nothing to hinder you or your ship." With that, Lilliana heads straight for the airship, placing the single ticket against the scanner, grinning as it accepts it. Dragging her suitcase into the cargo bay, she dusts off her clothing before heading for the lounge, relaxing in her simple attire as she waits for the others.

Sam followed behind scanning her ticket as well. Well let's get this show started. She had with her a bag, and small black box on her back.

Xarias went along with the rest without exchanging glances or words. It was a job so he didn't want to get too attached. He pressed the ticket against the scanner then followed suit and proceeded to the ship. As much as he wanted to just vault over the scanners he didn't because that would be immature and quite a problem for his companions.

Back in the air, eh? Shouldn't get carried away with the travelling then.

He yawns and stretches his arms in the air trying to looses up a bit for the long trip. It wasn't everyday that he got to ride an airship so he wants to enjoy this as much as he can while still doing his job.

Lee casually walked with the others, scanned his ticket, and boarded the ship. Packing a sufficient amount of money, his weapon, spare Kunai, and dust, he hoped that any stops along the way would be able to provide him with his standard necessities. "Lets see how this beast flies."

After collecting his luggage, Lí moves up to the door, scans his pass, and walks in. After hauling his items to the cargo bay, he moves to the lounge as well. He carefully sets Fenghuang against a nearby wall before taking a seat himself, taking a moment to ensure he doesn't sit on his hair.

Arthur without a word, for he was tired, walks behind the others onto the airship, scanning his ticket on the way, finding a seat, removing his sword from his waist and shield from his arm. Placing them on the seat next to him, he then sits and shuts his eyes, wanting to get the journey over and done with as soon as possible.

Aphelion made sure to watch how the whole ticket deal worked before scanning his own and entering the ship. Keeping his little backpack with him, he moved to sit against a wall and took out the book once more, going back to writing.

Looking as the others enter the ship, she awaits the pilot to return to the airship and get them under way, "Well... So long Vale... Heh." Receiving some last second details to her scroll, it beeps before she quickly looks over them, "Ten hour flight!? Jeez... Let's see, if we go there... Then there... Should be there soon enough." Suddenly realising she is talking to herself, she blushes and stares at Arthur, "R-Right? Did you get all that?"

Lee made his way around the main deck, taking it all in. Overhearing something of a ten hour flight, he made his way over to the lounge, and leaned against the outer wall of the Galley. He took his hood off; he only ever used it when he needed to, out in public.  Seizing an opening in the conversation, he quietly inquired: "Miss Knight, if I may ask, for the sake of me and my associates from encountering an ... awkward situation , which room of the Quarters do you plan to occupy?" He said this with the most neutral expression he could muster, hoping that he didn't generate an "awkward situation" right there and then.

O.O.C. : I agree Wei, lets try to make sure that does not occur.

Arthur opens an eyelid when he hears Lilliana talking, only then realising she was talking to him. "Uhh, sorry, I got none of that." He replies, honestly. He just wanted to sleep as he knew this would be a long journey. "But, uhh, I think this one wants your attention first." Arthur points out Lee who seemed to be trying to generate conversation with Ana.

"This is your captain speaking," Naoto said, his voice coming through the ship speakers. "Please prepare for takeoff as we will be leaving shortly." With a click, the speakers turn off as Naoto turns his attention to the control panel. Flipping a few switches and buttons, he signals to the port about leaving then with a slight jolt, the airship detaches from the dock and soars into the air. Smiling as he set it to autopilot, majority of the flight being in a straight line as it was, he walks back down the stairs to find Lilliana, Arthur, and Lee. "I regret to say that room assignments have not been given," He said, his hands clasped together in front of him. "You will have to decide amongst yourselves as to which rooms you will be taking."

Sam stood up and picked the first on she saw. This will do. She threw her stuff down and jumped in the bed. She then pulled out some headsets and began to listen to some music.
