The Snowy Trials [CLOSED]

Lucina takes the head of the arrow and breaks it. She tries to loosen the shaft with her aura but her aura changes from a bright yellow to a darkish orange it forces her hand away. " hmm. Weird"

Zwei laughs
"whats next a rainbow made of aura?"
he hoped the humour would ease the situation...to bad it was a bad joke

Aeden takes a deep breath and pulls as quickly as he can on the arrow. Aeden yells.  It comes out along with some blood. "Ha Ha Ha (Panting not laughing) Okay that should do it." Aeden stands. "Lets keep going."

Zwei nods
"yeah lets move"
he points to the lever in the center of the room
"im going to assume that lever is our way out...be careful of traps"
he throws the arrow at another tile

Aeden finished bandaging up his shoulder and care fully walks toward Zwei. "Is that our only option? I don't want to get shot again."

Zwei shrugs
"its seems its either arrow throwing or getting impaled on arrows...take your pick but im happy with arrow throwing"
he tosses the arrow again and arrows fly at the tile the arrow landed on
He points to the lever
"nearly there bro"

Aeden reaches into one of his pockets. "I think I have a faster idea. I thought I could use these to make an enemy roll and fall." Aeden takes out a some small metal balls. "Think these are heavy enough to trigger the plates?

Zwei inspects them
"probably worth a try bro it will beat throwing an arrow at the ground"

Aeden stands in front of Lucina just in case anything goes wrong. "Well here goes nothing." Aeden throws the metal balls at the floor leading to the lever with enough force to trigger the plates. Arrows fire in front of them and the plates are now safe. "Went better than expected. Lets try that lever."

Lucina says to Aeden" Are you going to be okay?"

Aeden takes a bit of antidote just in case the poison is troublesome. "Yeah Ill be fine. Kal did much worse to me." Aeden puts his hand on the lever. "No turning back. Everyone ready?"

As Aeden flipped the switch the black, arrow covered floor sloped and slid the three adventurers down a hallway revealed by the sloped floor
The three plunged into the new room
The room had grey rough stone walls and a tightly packed dirt floor
Several of the torches lining the walls lit themselves due to another old mechanism hidden in the wall
the room was not a big as the first but still had quite the size to it

strewn about the floor were bones...human bones

a trained eye might be able to see them occasionally shift toward the other bones

Aeden strains his eyes to scan the room. "What in the world have we gotten ourselves into." Aeden holds Deception X tightly in his hand with a slightly crouched stance ready to attack at a moments notice.

Lucina stands and looks with horror at the sight before her. " Uh. Guys.. Do you see what I see" Sh walks over and kicks a pile of bones making sure they are real.

"The remains of possibly hundreds of dead people? Yeah I see it"
He stretches and pets DB

The shifting of the bones begins to intensify

Aeden hears some sounds he cant really describe. "Zwei is DB chewing on a bone or something? I keep hearing some weird sounds."

Lucina backs up as the bones she kicked start to shake " Guys I have a bad feeling about this!"

The bones pick up in intensity as the bones begin to shuffle toward each other eventually forming a complete human skeleton
the bones attached together with a click
for a moment there was nothing
until the skeleton got up on its own and picked up a mace out of the ground
a moment several more popped up and more and more got up

"This is why we don't press buttons or use levers!" Aeden turns to face the skeletons and sends small bursts of ice in the form of icicles at the Skeletons.

Lucina throws Aetherius in wingstick form at a group of skeletons hoping to take them out

Zwei draws fortissimo in tonfa mode and preprares to defend
"use blunt attacks slashing wont do much!"

The icicles hit the skeletons taking one of them out and taking the one of the arms off of two
the two one armed mace wielding skeletons charge toward Aeden preparing a nasty swing

The wingstick cleaves the head off one skeleton it falls over and the bones disintegrate into dust

Before the Skeleton can reach Aeden he darts towards it and smashes Deception X's pommel into the skeleton's face activating the trigger.

Lucina rushes over and tries to smash one of the skeltons skull with Aetherius' hilt in katana form

Zwei charges at a skeleton swinging his tonfa to uppercut a skeletons head

The shot fire through the face of the skeleton and it falls apart just like the last 
The other one armed skeleton behind aeden charges forward to body-check aeden 

The hilt slams into the skeletons head and the skull cracks a little but stays intact mostly
the hurt skeleton staggers back and is dazed a little
another skeleton approaches lucina winding up a powerful punch as his mace seemed to have disappeared 

The upwards swing of the tonfa knocks the head of the skeleton loose and knocks it off the skeleton crumbles like the others
Just then two more skeleton move to join zwei

Aeden notices the other skeleton coming from behind. He switches Deception X to his other arm and swings toward the skeleton's head. His hit stopped short as pain rushes from his shoulder. Dammit! Why is it always the shoulder! The skeleton is able to knock him down and Aeden tries to roll away from it.

Lucina notices the skeleton out of the corner of her eye just as she feels a sharp pain in her face. Her nose is now slightly bleeding. She switches to wingstick form and tries to decapitate the skeleton

Zwei spots the two skeletons approaching him and turns and prepares his defensive stance
he could block at least one of the hits two if he was lucky

As Aeden falls the skeleton walks forward and starts wind up a large swing with its mace

The skeletons head is knocked loose from the wingstick and is close to falling off
the skeleton is too dazed to do anything else anyway (autohit it if you want)

Like Zwei predicted he was able to block one of the skeletons maces with his tonfa but the other he couldnt block he had to choose protecting his head or his torso...he choose head

The mace slammed into zweis ribcage thankfully the force of the attack knocked the skeletons hand off preventing an immediate follow up attack
