The Snowy Trials [CLOSED]

Lucina notices the skeleton out of the corner of her eye just as she feels a sharp pain in her face. Her nose is now slightly bleeding. She switches to wingstick form and tries to decapitate the skeleton

Zwei spots the two skeletons approaching him and turns and prepares his defensive stance
he could block at least one of the hits two if he was lucky

As Aeden falls the skeleton walks forward and starts wind up a large swing with its mace

The skeletons head is knocked loose from the wingstick and is close to falling off
the skeleton is too dazed to do anything else anyway (autohit it if you want)

Like Zwei predicted he was able to block one of the skeletons maces with his tonfa but the other he couldnt block he had to choose protecting his head or his torso...he choose head

The mace slammed into zweis ribcage thankfully the force of the attack knocked the skeletons hand off preventing an immediate follow up attack

Aeden looks up to see a mace coming down toward him. No chance to block but I have a weird idea. Aeden shoots ice dust at the Skeletons head hoping to connect it to the mace. Let's see you pull your own head off.

Lucina kicks the skeletons head forcing it across the room. The skeleton crumbles to the ground and Lucina goes over to assist Zwei

Zwei stumbles back and takes a few pills
"glad I brought these"
He swaps to gun mode and spots lucina on her way

The Ice connects the skeletons skull to its head and it yanks it own head off once it swings its mace
it crumbles into dust onto Aeden (get a swiffer bro)

The skeletons notice two people gathering and 4 more approach Lucina and Zwei

One skeleton larger than the rest...but seemingly slower begins to approach Aeden from across the room

Lucina throws Aetherius powered by ice dust at the 4 skeletons aiming for the neck region

Aeden covers his mouth blocking the dust from entering and wipes himself down with a shiver. "Oh god I dont think Ill ever be clean again." He stands and turns toward the Alpha Skeleton. "You want a piece of me! Come get some!" Aeden holds his ground and prepares to face the Skeleton.

Zwei Fires his gun at one of the skeletons better to hit one than miss two

The wingstick beheads two of the skeletons as they turn to dust the wingstick loses its path and fails to behead the other two

Zwei's bullet connects with the skeletons head breaking it to bits and the skeleton turns to dust

the other skeleton throws its mace at zweis head while going to punch lucina

A trained eye would notice that the dust from the skeletons is no longer settling on the ground but...moving toward the alpha skeleton
the dust makes contact with its feet and is "absorbed"
the skeleton visibly grows and is probably stronger
the alpha skeleton continues to walk toward Aeden

Lucina goes to use her aura to force her nose to stop bleeding. Her face glows yellow and then turns a dark orange. Her cheek is now left with a medium sized gash. She holds it and says" What is up with my aura today!"

Aeden rubs his eyes as he stands his ground. I must be imagining things. "Hey is this guy getting bigger?"

Zwei turns to the Alpha skeleton in the room
"well every dungeon IS supposed to have a boss battle"
"AEDEN GROUP UP WITH US WE DONT WANT ANYONE TO GET SEPARATED!"
He shouts over to Aeden to ensure he hears him

The alpha skeleton reaches into the ground and pulls out a giant sword probably dulled by time
It lets out a loud roar that resounds throughout the room and all the skeletons except for the alpha crumble in to dust and go to join the one who let out the roar.
The alpha skeleton grows standing at least 8 and a half feet tall by now and would probably have strength to match 

The skeleton stops and stands looking at Aeden and staring with empty eyes

Lucina goes to blink farther away from the alpha but again her aura glows dark orange and she feels a sharp pain in her head. (Very bad headache). She sinks to the ground becuase it hurts so much. She still glows a dark orange as she lies on the ground holding her head.

Aeden backs up slowly toward his friends keeping his eyes on the AS. He doesn't see Lucina on the ground.

zwei holds his stance
"ummm any ideas guys?"
he swaps to gun mode
and prepares his aim

The alpha skeleton remains still staring at Aeden with empty eyes
its hand moves over to its own ribcage...and cracks a single rib away
it throws the jagged bone toward Aeden
and roars again

Aeden shoots the ground making a wall of ice between them and the skelton. The bone hits and goes nearly through the wall. "That was a really strong throw. It must have some sort weakness."

Lucina flips away from the skeleton and throws dust crystal shards at the ground hoping to make him slip on them. She throws Aetherius at the skeletons neck to weaken it. "Take this you pile if bones!"

The skeleton steps on tge crystal and it is crushed underfoot
the wingstick bounces off the skeleton with minimal damage done

Zwei aims at the joints of the skeleton and fires
"Any other ideas guys?"

Aeden looks at his surroundings. "We need to crush it or make it explode! Do we have any bombs, fire crystals, or something like that?" Aeden fires Ice dust at the skeleton trying to slow it down.

Lucina backs up and throws an explosive dust crystal at the alpha's neck hoping to snap it with the force of the crystal and explosion.

Zwei removes the remaining dust from fortissimo and tosses it and shoots the canister in front of the face of the skeleton 

The Ice freezes the skeletons leg to the ground and it is immobilized
Lucina crystal hits the neck of the skeleton and loosens the skull another good hit would do it
The cannister of dust explodes in the face of the skeleton...sadly fire dust has little effect on bones so not much happens

the skeleton chips away at the ice

Aeden notices the skeleton has been weakened. Just one more hit should do it. He sees that Skeleton is trying to free itself from the ice. "No you dont!" Aeden focuses his aura in his legs and rushes at a high speed toward the skeleton. He jumps and aims his knee directly at the skeletons face. The hit connects and the skull falls off disintegrating the creature into dust. "That's how its done!"

As the Alpha Skeleton dissapears a loud clanking sound is heard from down the corridor. "Sounds like something's opened up now that these guys are all done. We should check it out."

As Aeden kills the Alpha Lucina claps

Zwei loads a new dust cannister and walks back up to Aeden and follows him
"well remind me never to piss you off"

Aeden and his friends walk down the corridor and come upon a large door with a big enough opening for them to enter. As the go through the opening they enter a large ornate room that seems to have withstood the ravages of time. Along the walls are delicately made sculptures of people and Grimm all around the room. The room is tiled with marble and the walls are streaked with gold. The rooms seems to have been untouched for centuries and in the center of the room stood a lone chest.

Lucina walks over to the architecture and admires it" As I always used to say Art before treasure.. well actually I just made that up now.. but this is beautiful!"

Zwei walks over to the walls and inspects it 
"how much do you think we can loot from here?"
he asks his mind on the money more than the art
