Camp Diamond Pond (Week 15: closed)

"Oh yeah; hmm, there were four bedrooms i saw, they were really well furnished." Adelaide said in a happy sort of tone, feeling good to get out of the awkwardness with the rabbit girl who seemed uncomfortable just giving out her name, but that may have partly been the slight ogling that Adelaide had been doing, swinging both-ways and all she couldn't help but find Gwyn attractive.

"Anyway, we'll have to decide who gets which room" She said sounding slightly more serious, though the only thing she could think about was the possibility of going outside and sleeping in a tree, and not a flimsy thing you grow in your yard, but a real massive old oak or redwood, like she had done as a little girl.

Jack just propped his feet up as he watched them all get settled in. "This should be good."

Dusk butts in with, "Six rooms not four." He points to the back of the house opposite the first four rooms. "So, who wants to pick first?" Dusk asks the group.

[Time skip: for one reason...unpacking takes to long.]

Jack watched the monitors as the daylight began to dwindle. He yawned a little as he took a sip of coffee. He switched to another camera to check if his surprise was ready. He saw it standing there ready to strike. He smiled at the thought of someone being scared that bad. "Well if they get eliminated, at least the get to watch the fun. He leaned back and waited for his cue.

Behind the cabin sat the sparkling Diamond pond, a beautiful pond the size of a lake. It sparkled a brilliant orange in the sunlight. It dwindled as if the heavens burned with a brilliant light. Its all so peaceful

Alena finishes settling into her room, making sure all her stuff was still there. Finally done. Now I can relax! She walks back into the living room. While getting a good look at the inside of the cabin, she hadn't explored anything outside, and decides to check it out. She walks out back and sees the pond, awestruck at how beautiful it looks. Wow, this looks amazing! She pops her head back inside and calls to the others. "Hey guys, get out here! You have gotta see the pond back here, it looks amazing!"

Somewhat annoyed at first from an...unpleasant unpacking experience...the swordsman gave a low mutter before walking out of one of the rooms. While fixing his weapon that was yet again secured upon his right shoulder by the chain, he soon found himself trekking toward the outdoors. Nature greeting him as it had done earlier with lush forests and blue skies, the scowl-like expression that he had worn several moments prior soon faded away, only to replaced by the faintest, respecting grin. Inhaling deeply and soundly, he closed his eyes briefly as he simply stood in the current spot, sliding his glasses off and hooking them onto the collar section of his tank top.

Afterwards he would hear a distant call that seemed to come from behind the cabin itself. Curiosity grasping at his mind as he attempted to picture just how grand this apparent pond looked, the teen broke himself from the stance he had been within, taking his sweet time as he walked along the paths to meet the source of the voice. At once his eyes were met with a highly sparkling sight that was simply glittering about with radiance. He could feel the little smirk of his grow slightly larger as he spied the waters before him, and a long, loud whistle escaped his lips. "Daaaaaaamn..." he muttered, a slight laugh in his tone as he ceased his stride by the girl's side. Taking hold of his headphones, he lowered them down and around his neck for a little while, crossing his arms before his chest afterwards while continuing to take a gander at the body of water afar. "God, I can't even remember the last time I've seen something this beautiful..."

Adelaide had decided to explore the house a little, but only basic stuff like seeing whether or not there was food in the kitchen, well mostly whether or not there was food in the kitchen because she was most definitely that one friend everyone has that eats all the time and somehow doesn't gain a single pound.
She had quickly found what she was after in a small bag of chips, well there were actually many bags of chips, but she had only taken one.
She had began absent mindedly began chomping on whilst holding the bag in her tail before she had heard the scream to check out the lake in the back of the cabin; she began to walk there at a brisk but excited pace as she stepped outside (breathing in the fresh air) and took a look at the beautiful lake. "Wow, it's just like the ones back home!" Adelaide said in a happy voice before walking over to the pond and dipping her hand into it, swishing back and forth.
"It's warm to!"

Standing up in the center of his new found room, Matt would smile and wipe his hands-- finished. Looking around the cozy interior of the temporary bedroom, the sun had already begun to illuminate the interior as he kicked his now empty backpack beneath the bed. Resting on the endtable sat his Scroll on a charger, and a black, metallic pair of tonfa. Now that he was a student of Beacon, it was almost habit to carry the slightly heavy weapon with him. Placing them to hang from his belt, he'd take a moment to enjoy the view layed out from the window-- the various trees looking like silhouettes now as he squinted and lifted a hand to stare at the sparkling lake.

He'd take notice of the three outside enjoying the view, giving a smile as he'd leave his room and meet them out there to enjoy the setting sun. As nice as it was from the view inside his room, the mixture of a soft breeze and the outdoors had a much more alluring enhancement to the sight. Orange hues had reflected off the bright waters as he watched the Faunus comment on the temperature of the water, seeing her hand testing the water.

Glancing over as Haven spoke, he'd nod with content on what the other had said, looking back out toward the water. "I can see why they would call it Diamond Pond now." His green eyes would trace the various slight waves created by Adelaide's hand swaying at the shoreline, the calm waters catching and flickering the sunlight as ripples and small waves expanded from the females movements. "Wild how something so distant from civilization can feel so welcoming."

He'd take in a slow, deep breath, hands slipping into his half-jacket as the fresh air filled his lungs with the scent of pine, exhaling silently shortly after-- this was going to be a fun, relaxing time away from campus from the looks of what nature had brought them this evening.

Dusk had finished unpacking his few things a while before, only double checking that Loss had ammo in it before hanging his shotgun off the side of his belt. He made sure he had all of the Five Brothers hanging off the opposite side and that Grief was still in his shirt pocket. Finally, he double and triple checked that all three of his watches were synchronized to the right time.

He had stepped outside a few minutes before the others and had been leaning his back against the cabin, looking over the lake. It wasn't surprising the others hadn't noticed him being his dark clothing. Finally, he walked forward and said to no one in particular, "We certainly aren't in Kansas Vale anymore." With that he whistled softly, having it join the sound the breeze was making on the trees around them. Such a peaceful night, he thought to himself.

Alena smiles as everyone else comes outside to admire the view. I'm glad I came. This view alone makes it worth it! She walks up next to Adel and dips her foot in to test the water for herself. "You weren't kidding." Alena's eyes light up as an idea strikes her. She turns to the others, grinning from ear to ear. "We should go swimming! Come on, before it get's too dark!" With that, she starts to walk back up to the cabin to change into her swimwear.

Adelaide stood up with a slightly perverted grin at the words of Alena. "Hey that's a great idea; here i'll come with you!" She said to the shorter girl as she follower her up to the cabin. She walked up to her room and opened the door, stepping inside and rummaging through the grey tote bag she had brought with her until she procured a blue one piece bathing suit.
Adelaide quickly undressed and slipped herself into the aforementioned suit before stepping back outside and walking towards the lake again. "I think this might be one of the best days of my life" She thought in a perverted way.

"A splendid idea indeed," Dusk responds. He heads back around to one of the entrances and goes into his room to change into his black swimming trunks. Once done, he heads back outside to join the others for swimming in the pond. This is already starting to be quite fun.

Glancing over at Alena's enthusiasm, Haven himself debated whether or not he should take up on her offer. Chilled, frosty voids would shift briefly over toward the waters before him yet again. Eh...the pond isn't going anywhere... he thought to himself, shaking his head to and fro gently. Ashen locks swaying faintly by the action; they would return to the way they were prior, with a good amount of his hair covering the right eye. "I don't see any point in rushing to take a dip...I mean, the pond's still gonna be here tomorrow..." he said with a faint smirk, eying two two girls as they returned to the cabin as quickly as they went. His gaze would soon follow after the lad that had joined the scene not too long after he, only separating from his path after he was left on his lonesome. The grin remaining still upon his lips, he shook his head one more time before turning heel, following after the others at his own pace.

After reentering the cabin himself, the crossbreed trekked over toward the room that he had partially claimed at his own. He himself didn't change out, though he did free himself of his chains, as well as his lighters and suspender straps. Instead of changing into his own swimwear, he simply exited the building for the second time, hands within his pockets as he joined the others. He did aim to take a dip within the waters for at least a little while, but didn't really bother to change out due to it. Should he end up taking a swim, he would just lose the shirt and hop on in; simple as that.

Jack looked through the rooms to see a girl in her room alone. He thought to himself. Hm...to early for an elimination.........lets have fun. Jack decided to have some fun with this girl. He simply hit a button on his wrist and Jason's eyes illuminated the inky darkness of the basement. He slowly began to move. The puppet slowly walked to where Gwyn's room would be downstairs. The puppet reached over and grabbed a metal pipe and hit something right metallic. An air duct that lead up to her room. He hit it and the metal rung out in her room. Sounding if something was right below her. .Jack continued to watch the others as well.

Nodding, he'd feel an infectious grin come across his face at Alena's offer. A swim now wouldn't be too bad of an idea, especially right before dinner and nightfall. With how far the sun had begun to fade, and the two girls claiming that the water was warm enough for a dip, Matt would find himself trailing after the four of them into the cabin to change. Seeing as Gwyn may have still been unpacking inside, Matt would call out, "Swimming!" on the way inside of his room, hopefully loud enough for the rabbit Faunus to hear as he closed the door behind him for a little privacy.

After a short moment, he'd reemerge from the room, wearing nothing but a pair of gradient swimtrunks that started at the color of navy blue, and became sky blue by his knees. A black bow shaped string hung from the center of his waist, moving into the restroom for a moment to grab six towels to bring outside. His black beanie didn't budge from his attire, lightly tanned skin on display as he'd carry the towels out with him toward the pond.

Gwyn had finished packing not too long ago and was looking out her window at the people outside. Sometimes she wished she wasn't so shy and scared of other people, but the more she thought about it the more she wanted to be alone. It was a strange sort of situation she had gotten herself into, but it mostly wasn't her actual fault though. But all she could do was watch the others from her room, wistfully looking outwards towards them. Her thoughts were disrupted, however, by the sounds of metal clanging just below her. Her head snapped downwards to look at the floor beneath her, making her jump a little bit with an "eep!" before she dove onto her bed. The bunny didn't hesitate to throw the blankets over herself and cower in fear, tears coming to form on the edges of her eyes as she looked around. She was literally shivering in fear as she popped the top half of her head out from under the blankets, eyes darting around the room to try and find the source of the noise.

Jack just watched the girl cower. "....well....she should be fun....anyways." With movement of his fingers the doll exited out the door downstairs. It soon walked to her side of the building. The doll stood there in her wind with its tattered cloths and mask. As soon as she would see it would disappear the second she breaks eye contact. Jack was especially proud about what he did to the windows. He had planted bushes so no one would see Jason at the windows.

Adelaide stretched and cracked her neck before taking a running jump into the sparkling pond, it reminded her of her home up in the north, but a lot warmer seeing as she had not had to crack any ice to go swimming in the beautiful mini-river. "Wow this is quite good, i'm really quite surprised at how not cold it is!" She said, her words an echo of her positive thoughts as she walk-swam deeper into the pond, seeing as her height had her touching the muddy floor of the pool for nearly twenty feet out.
"Wait a minute, where is that girl from earlier?" Adelaide thought whilst she continued to swim around and talk to the others, it wasn't that she was worried for her, she simply felt it weird that someone could be awkward enough to come out to a place like this and then not want to do anything fun.

Gwyn mustered enough courage to get up out of bed, albeit weakly, and look at the people outside again. Except she didn't see the people, she saw something else. A man, with a mask and tattered clothes staring at her as she stared right back. It took her a second to realize that it was there, but when she did, she screamed at the top of her lungs. She took a step back, tripping over herself and breaking eye contact for a moment as she scrambled to stand upright again. When she looked back, it was gone. Tears rolled down her cheek as she immediately leaped back onto her bed, throwing the covers over herself as she shook violently from fear. The bunny girl sobbed quietly to herself as she did her best to calm down. It wasn't working. The image of what had stood in her window was stuck in her mind, haunting her now. And there was nothing she could do about it.

Dusk wads into the water for a few meters before slightly diving underneath to move out farther faster. He pops up near by Adelaide and floats onto his back, lightly paddling with his feet and arms. He says to no one in particular, "Ahh, such a nice night. So glad I signed up for this trip."

Sat still upon the pond's shoreline, the swordsman simply gazed out and across the glistening surfaces of the waters before him, eyes veiling over gently as he took a moment to savor the moment. Much to many people's surprises when they found out, the boy very much considered nature as a 'friend' of his, alongside music. When within a graceful scenery such as the current, he often felt at ease and allowed a sense of bliss to take his mind, similar to how he was at the very moment. Relaxed, he would breath a silent sigh, shaking his head, he decided to simply lean back and lie down for the meantime, and save taking a dip for a later time that day, or perhaps even the next.

...If some sudden, distant sound hadn't caught his attention.

Just as he got comfortable, the lad's Faunus ears would twitch faintly at the sound of what seemed to be a scream, coming from the direction of the group's temporary lodgings. Slowly, his head would tilt against the ground, allowing azure voids to glance over at the cabin afar. He blinked, a sudden, somewhat serious expression crossing his features. ...Wonder what that was... he thought, keeping his focus upon the housing in the distance. Debating whether or not he should check things out at that very moment, the Huntsman would eventually decide not to go just then.

Instead, he simply performed a sort of kip-up action before ridding of his shirt and wading within the pond before him, alongside the others.

His bare feet had shuffled against the cool green grass, six white towels in his hands as he trailed behind the four headed into the lake already. Smiling at the sight, he'd shrug a moment at how eager they were to get in and start having fun without considering drying off, but he couldn't blame anyone after that stuffy bus ride and beautiful evening that was happening. Hopefully the female inside had heard their excitement shuffling around inside to change--

Although human's may have not been as adept at picking up sounds like a Faunus could, the distance Matt was from the house was close enough to make him freeze in his steps and look back toward the cottage; the loud, piercing scream echoing from inside making the hair on his neck crawl. Being halfway to the lake, he'd fix his eyes on the screen door that was left closed. The only one left inside was Gwyn, a part of him growing suddenly concerned at the other coworker as nothing but silence came afterward. He could feel a lump grow in his throat-- she wouldn't be playing a trick on them, would she?

Slowly looking back toward the group in the water, he'd lean over to place the towels on the ground, calling to them "I think I heard something from the cottage... I'll~ be right back...." before turning his back and giving a little jog toward the screen door. His bare feet would give light thuds against the wood of the patio, the sounds of the group splashing around in the water, and sing-song tweets of the birds around the forest a sickening tension against the shriek that rang from the interior of their home. Reaching for the handle, he'd swiftly pull open the door, stepping inside and stopping at the doorway.

An odd, eerie silence hung about the room. His head would look toward the direction of the two bedroom part of the cottage before the set of four, feeling his breath picking up as a growing feeling of concern rose within him. The bubbling, festering feeling would come to a head, bringing the male to call out in an indoor voice, "Gwyn?"

The sound of a light breeze whistled through the screen door behind him, his own breathing the only response as he slowly took one step, followed by a second step forward. Eyes cautiously looked around, his voice raising a little bit for a second call toward the bedrooms. "Hey. Gwyn? Is everything okay?"

(Sorry for absence of posts, was gone for a couple days)

Alena had traveled back down the pond with the others, now wearing her navy blue bikini. When she is halfway to the water, she notices a tall tree hanging out over the water and has an idea. This'll be fun. She runs to the tree, climbing as fast as she can up to a limb about 10 feet up. She climbs to the end of it, until she is 20 feet out over the water. She jumps off and gracefully dives into the pond. She swims around a bit under water, and resurfaces next to Adel and Dusk. She looks at Dusk and smiles. "You got that right." With that she rolls over to her back and floats there, relaxing.

Adelaide was having the time of her life out in this water, she could barely contain herself out with all of these cute guys and girls around, infact as much as she resisted her tricky side was coming out, and it had broken free from its cage of social taboo around the time she had seen Alenas attractive body floating in the water.
She quietly dived underneath the water holding her breath (a feat for a girl the size of a rather stubborn tree) before resurfacing slightly just under Alena, and tickling the poor girl, every once in a while going in for a slight feel cropping on Alenas... erm... chest area.
Adelaide thought briefly something about good weekends and how this was one.

Dusk continues floating on his back next to Alena, smiling at her agreement. This is going to be a fun weekend, I can just feel it. He turns himself and dives underwater doing a few somersaults underneath the surface and than resurfaces. He keeps himself afloat with his feet as he looks around him.

Alena's eyes close as her body further relaxes, until she starts to feel something. She giggles as she feels herself being tickled, not sure where it is coming from. She enjoys the feeling, and barely notices the occasional grope. She turns around to see Adel tickling her. A mischievous smile crosses her face. "Oh yeah, let's see how you like it!" Laughing, Alena goes after Adel, tickling her back.

Adelaide broke out laughing almost before Alena started tickling her, she was very ticklish and had always been since a young age so it was almost a knee jerk reaction to begin laughing. "Haha, i'm not sure if i regret starting this or not!" She said with a happy tone of voice before getting a very devious and almost evil look on her face, she lunged upward at Alena grabbing on to her, before dragging her underwater slightly.
