Xarias landed while he saw the grimm roar in pain again. The near-invisible projectile that hit the grimm's knee earlier seemed to have come back and out through the other knee. The only reason Xaria's noticed it was because of his semblance, he managed to get a tiny glimpse of it as it went out the other knee, any other person would've barely noticed.
How the hell did that happen?
Across the other side of the cave, Xarias managed to get a glimpse of what seemed to be neither Pierce nor Night, he was wearing black. He had a staff at the ready, he looked like he was focused on the Ursa.
Black? So he sent the projectile flying? I don't see any gun. So unless that staff of his could shoot, which I highly doubt it could, then the projectile shouldn't be his unless... unless he has something else up his sleeve.
The Ursa got down on all fours now, it seems like Junis managed to get the sweet spot. This time the Ursa started backing away but it didn't keep it's eyes off it's attackers. It then stopped and started bending it's hind legs and lowering it's head, as if it was coiling up like a spring. Xaria's suddenly remembered an important lesson he was taught back at his old school, something so basic yet so easily forgotten.
Nothing is more dangerous than a cornered animal, unless of course that animal is an over sized Ursa.
