Kaitlyn smiles and keeps running.

Thanks to Lucina Aeden is finally free from the ice. "What happened back there?! All I remember is Joe's crazy girlfriend running, me getting lit on fire, and me getting frozen." Aeden shivers with every word and starts to eye the room for some hot coco.

Lucian clearly sees Aeden is frozen solid and uses Celente to break him out

Lucina finds some hot cocoa on a random table and gives it to Aeden and says " we should be getting to sleep. It's been a crazy day"

Kaitlyn runs to the ballroom to see Jet and other people working on their weapons

"Fair enough" Joe said while releasing a chuckle himself. He still had to prove himself outside of the social realm as well and was looking forward to initiation. But one thing was still nagging his mind, Kaitlyn was bringing up her mother and father quite often in an apologetic manner, he didn't know if he should ask or not, but he took the risk.
"Um you can tell me I'm stepping over the line or not, but if you don't mind, why do you keep apologizing to your father and mother like you did something wrong? Did something happen to them?" Not knowing how she would react, Joe kept his questions to a minimum, even though he had a lot more he would have liked to ask

"Thanks again Lucina. I completely agree. I have to remember to avoid "cake girl" for as long as possible" Lets head to the ballroom. "Ahh so warm" Aeden says with a smile.

Yin, deciding that the fight was over, finished his apple and walked towards the door.

"Quite a fight you put on there." He remarked as he passed the two. "Very professional."

"I agree" said Lucina smiling. She says " Let's hope you don't have an encounter with cake girl like that" laughing.

"Confrontations, already?", mumbled Fallow under his breath as he surveyed the damage left behind by a battle between two students. "Everyone's just warming up to each other".

Gulping down the rest of his tea, Fallow's thoughts moved to the girl he met before. Despite his failure in extracting more than a grain of lore from her, there were many others around him who may provide history unknown by even the great scribes of the dark times. Someone, somewhere in this school could provide him with what he sought. He would find them, he knew it.

He started towards a group of students discussing cake.

"Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? Mr. I cant help a guy who's been frozen?"

"....So when I told you about how I made the Grimm Crystal this morning it made a mini explosion. That's because I used two essences instead of one. When I made it in front of my parents I accidently fused it with six and it was almost a nuclear explosion. My parents shielded me from the blast but became Grimm in the process... Quite an odd family... Faun-errr Human parents with their Faun- uhh Human daughter."

Kaitlyn looked to the ground smiling sadly

"I know their souls are in heaven while smiling at me proud of their little Faun-errr Human daughter!"

Kaitlyn smiles while sweating because she almost reavealed she's a Fauna.

"Well it seems you did a fine job of getting yourself in that block of ice, so I figured you could get yourself out."

Yin smirked to himself as he continued towards the door.

"Oh, that's very sad to hear, I can kind of relate, my mother is a single parent and had to raise three children, my father left when we were younger so I look up to my Master." Joe said to try to make here feel that other people can relate to her struggles.
"And I am sure they are up there smiling down at there beautiful daughter" Joe said while blushing. Strange this was she kept stressing the human part of her parents, and said something before very softly. Joe passed it off though, she was perfectly normal so there was nothing to surprise him in the end. If its anything that makes him more mad than anything is surprises on things he though he knew.

Yin nearly walked straight into the boy who had appeared at the doorway. He turned to him and stopped. "Hello there. What's someone your age doing at a place like this so late?"

Yin frowned. He was sure that nobody this kid's age was enrolled in Beacon at the moment. He unconsciously rested his hand on the hilt of his longer blade, Flare.

"Thank you, Joe."

Kaitlyn gives him a tiny peck on the cheek and says

"I'm gonna meet up with Jet come if you want!!!"

Joe was caught off guard by the kiss on the cheek. Joe just met her today, and there something off about her, and as they were great friends in one day, it just didn't feel right to him. He just stood there in thought and ignored her invitation to go see Jet, not out disrespect but out of confusion on what to do from here. He waved Kaitlyn goodbye and headed outside and into the opening of the Emerald Forrest. He climbed the highest tree he could find and sat there in deep thought.

Fallow walked through the Emerald Forest with one hand in his pocket and the other over his eye. It was a tic of his. He had no idea where it came from, but he allowed himself the pleasure of owning it. It helped him focus.

As the branches passed above him, he noticed someone sitting in the higher level of a great tree, and upon loser inspection, realized it was the brown haired boy with glasses he had seen run by earlier that day.

Fallow pushed his own minuscule glasses up his nose and called out, "How's the view?".

Kaytlin sees a 14 year-old kid and says

"Hey kid you lost?"

Yin saw the kid move to grab a device on his back. "Hey buddy, no need for that. Professor Ozpin manages the roster, but he isn't going to be awake at this hour. You need somewhere to stay for the night?"

Yin was intrigued by this kid who was clearly either lost or on a mission. He decided to keep a close eye on him while he could.

Lan shook his head. "No, I'm not lost. I know exactly where I am, but I'm just looking for a teacher who kinda has authority that I can talk to. As for somewhere to stay, I'll figure that out when night comes, but thanks!" The final word came out with a squeak. This was just manners, and he needed to be nice to these people, but it still felt weird that he was actually talking to people who were years above his age.

Following Yin's notion, he slowly let his arms droop back down to his sides.

"Alright." Yin said as he continued out the door. "Have a good one then."

His slightly pointed ears twitched behind his black hair as he passed the younger child. He figured that he couldn't do much harm, and even so it was none of his business.

Yin strolled back to the ballroom to find a place to sleep for the night.

"Well good night kid seeya in the morning"

Kaytlin says walking into the ballroom

Being too cold to sleep Aeden decides its time for another cup of coco. On his way to retrieve the sweet drink Aeden sees "cake girl" heading toward the ballroom and decides he will have his revenge. Aeden blends into the shadows.

"Achoo!"

Kaitlyn feels like something is going to happen so she gets dust vials ready for chucking just in case it's Aeden or Aeden's witch of a gf
