The Aliance of Boredom [ALIA] [Invite-Only]

Due to the extreme weather conditions outside, a seemingly never-ending thunderstorm, all of the classes at Beacon had been cancelled for the day.  While students had been advised to remain in the dorm building until it subsided, it was now late in the afternoon, and the storm had only gotten worse.

Isabelle sat in her bed with a blanket over the lower half of her body, reading a book with a bored look on her face.  It wasn't an interesting story at all.  Tossing it aside, she lay back against her pillow and sighed.  She glanced around the room in attempt to find something that could help, to no benefit.  Not sure exactly who else was in the room at the moment, she spoke to anyone that could hear.  "... I'm bored."

Issac lay sprawled in his bed, shirtless as usual. Mostly just staring off into nothingness, and listening to the storm in hopes of something happening. Blinking a couple of times upon hearing Isabelle, he rolls over and flops him arm off the side. "You're not the only one."

Lucina sat in the far corner of the room also reading a book. A far more interesting one about the life of a Grimm. She sat fascinated in the book until she heard Isabelle and Isaac began to converse. She responded to their boredom by saying, "Well aren't we all bored here..." She finally looked up at the two sprawled out on their beds. She said, "There really is nothing exciting to do, huh?"

From behind a makeshift barrier of cardboard, which Aeden had put up around his desk for some privacy his words sprang out. "I'm not bored and none of you will be either!" Suddenly the the barrier fell over and Aeden moved away from his desk with a look of accomplishment and maybe even a hint of madness. "Its finally finished, after weeks of hard work and so much trial and error I finally finished it." Aeden's hands are behind his back as he looks at each of the inhabitants of the room with a slightly manic expression. "Now all I need is to start the finally testing phase who's in? By the way its guaranteed to relieve boredom."

Sitting up, Isabelle picked up her scroll, tapping a few buttons to open up the Messages tab.  Maybe inviting a few people over wouldn't hurt, considering they had nothing better to do.  Before she could press anything, however, Aeden came out from behind the mystical cardboard barrier, causing her to jump a bit.  "Please tell me you didn't break anything this time."

Issac moved to sit on the edge of his bed, a smirk on his face as he looked towards Aeden. "This wouldn't have anything to do with making your own alcohol, would it?" Leaning forward and pointing at Aeden, Issac continues in jokingly accusatory voice. "As much as you drink, it has to be good. Let's see it then."

Lucina looked up to where Aeden was and smiled. She said in a curious voice, "Is this just alcohol. I mean, I have tested almost everything you made already! There's no way you made something new so fast." Lucina looked at Aeden in disbelief and then looked to Isabelle saying, "He doesn't break things THAT often..."

Aeden made a small frown at Isabelle. "Isabelle if I had broken something don't you think I would have secretly replaced it by now?" Aeden gave a quick glance to the lamp beside Isabelle's bed but quickly turned back to face his teammates. "The truth is I have made 'alcohol'" Aeden made air quotes with his fingers as he said the word. From his desk he produced a small jar labeled "Honey" and a glass. Aeden poured the contents of the jar into the glass and to the surprise of possibly no one honey began to ooze out of the jar with the same color, conistensy, and smell of honey. Aeden put the jar down and retrieved a vial from his desk. "Now watch this." Aeden poured the vial onto the honey within seconds the honey began to loose its colour and viscosity until it appeared to be water. "I give you vodka! I have created covert alcohol! Now my only worry is being caught by the guards with jars of honey and being the weird honey guy." Aeden raised the glass up and displayed it to the others with a look of absolute accomplishment on his face.

The fact that it was alcohol didn't surprise Isabelle at all.  Shaking her head, she went back to her scroll, opening one of her few contacts.  Aphelion.  Surely, he was just as bored as they were.  Maybe more people would equal less boredom?  After sending him a message asking if he felt like stopping by, she put the scroll back down on her bed.  "Since I'm still fairly bored, I might have a friend coming over.  Feel free to invite any of your own friends, so we can have ourselves a small gathering of bored people."

Lucina looked at Aeden wanting to slap him for making more alcohol. She said to him, "It's like magic! But this kind...I consider dark magic." She giggled at her own joke seeing Aeden glance at the lamp when Isabelle mentioned breaking things. She sighed not wanting Aeden to face the wrath of Isabelle. She reached over next to her picking up her scroll. She opened her contacts seeing a weird picture of Zwei she forgot she had. She tapped his icon typing in a quick message saying, "Hey Zwei, we're bored so come over, bring alcohol if you want. -Lucina"

Zwei chuckled as he read his two favorite words (when together). He sprang out of his bed and retrieved his mask form under his pillow. "Bring alcohol?...she really should specify amounts next time!" he laughed slightly as he moved over to his alcohol stash in the room. "I guess I will just bring most of it!" he spoke to himself. He grabbed several small flasks of strong alcohol (around 8 with each holding 500 ml) and shoved them into his sweater so he doesn't look suspicious and set out of his dorm.

"Honey that turns into vodka? Does it still taste like honey?" Moving off the bed Issac goes over to his dresser and begins rummaging around in his drawers. "I suppose we're going to start drinking now. So, I'm getting my stuff." Closing his drawers, Issac lifts up a ceramic bottle and shakes it a little. "Sake, anyone?"

Hopping out of her bed, Isabelle took a seat on the floor with her legs crossed.  "Never had that before, would be worth a try, I suppose."  Glancing around at the others in the room, she giggled.  "We're just a team of alcoholics, aren't we..."

Aphelion smiled softly at the message he received. Not because he was at a standstill in a particularly awful round of solitaire, but because one of his friends actually invited him somewhere. Understandable enough with the weather and nothing to do. He bounced up and gathered up his cards, producing a bag out of his drawers and packing a few games - deck of cards, Twister, some King's Game sticks, a base and a few expansion packs of Cards Versus Society - before heaving it over his shoulder (though it was pretty light) and making his way towards the ALIA dorm.

Grabbing a few glasses and sitting down next to Isabelle, Issac pours some drinks. "I take offense to being called an 'alcoholic'. That implies I have a drinking problem." Downing his glass in one shot, Issac pours himself another. "It's stopping that's the problem. And you should pace yourself with this. It's actually pretty strong."

Lucina looked at Isabelle saying, "I wouldn't say alcoholics. Maybe you would call it a pastime?" Lucina then realized what she said and realized they did have alcohol very often. She picked up a glass putting it to her mouth making sure to drink it as slow as she can. She says, "This is good...but I've tasted better." Lucina looks at Aeden with a smile. "I invited a friend over by the way. Aeden knows him even better than I do." She thought with that hint Aeden would get who the guest was.

"The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem."  Isabelle said with a smirk, taking her own glass and sipping from it.  Being the smallest person on the team also resulted in her having the lowest tolerance for alcohol, which she found somewhat unfortunate.

Aeden slumped to the floor with a frown on his face hugging his honey jar. "Nobody liked my invention even though I worked so hard on it." Aeden took a swig of his vodka and reached into his jacket and pulled out what appeared to be a toy mouse. "They just blew me off and didn't even get to see my catnip related invention." With the slightly frustrated look Aeden chucked the mouse behind his back and let it fall behind his bed. "I bet Isabelle wouldn't have even liked it anyway." Aeden takes another drink of his vodka and begins preparing more. As he catches Lucina's hint a small smile appears on his face. "At least Zwei would appreciate how amazing this is."

Aphelion made his way around the corridors, nodding to the passing students and chuckling slightly at some couples pulling each other to one of their dorm rooms, leaving little to guess as to what their plans were, especially considering their constant whispering and blushing. Aphelion, on the other hand, just nodded as they passed, and even threw in some spare condoms into some loose pockets. Finally, he reached the ALIA dorm and knocked on the door gently.

Isabelle's ears twitched as she heard the knock, placing her drink down.  "That's probably him."  Standing up, she headed over to the door and opened it, smiling at Aph.  "Hey, glad you could show up."  She gestured for him to come in, glancing at the others.  "We're not exactly the most entertaining bunch of people, so we figured inviting some others over wouldn't hurt.  Hope you weren't busy."

Zwei stopped before turning into the hallway to reach into his pocket and take the time to put an amount of catnip into each of the flasks. He had been intending to give it to a lost kitten he had found earlier in the day but had been called to the dorm. "Might as well not let it go to waste...this will help the flavor....or something". After the addition of the secret ingredient he screwed all the lids back on and continued to walk through the halls. "Let's see...who is on this team? Aeden.....Lucina...and whatshisface and otherpersongirl" it was rather evident he only knew two of the four on the team. He arrived just in time to see Isabelle holding the door open for Aph. His revolver hung at his side from his belt loop and hung in plain sight "Oh! Isabelle! Didn't know you were on this team!" He smiled as he waited to be invited in.

"I'd always find time to hang out with a friend. Unless I'm with a more 'special' kind of friend, or doing something important. As is, you're a welcome distraction." he smiled before turning and grinning at Zwei, "Sup, you invited too? The more the merrier!" Aph chirped before stepping into the room with a polite bow and promptly moving to sit on the floor under the window, turning to look at everyone else, "Hi there! I hope you don't mind that I brought some party games with me?"

Noticing that yet another guest had showed up behind Aph, she smiled at him.  It took a moment, but she was able to successfully recognize him.  "Zwei, right?  Come on in, feel free to sit wherever.  Be careful not to shoot anybody, at least." she said with a smirk.  Bringing him inside, she closed the door, before sitting down next to Aph.

Zwei entered the dorm in behind Aphelion and after a moment of looking at who was there reached into his sweater to produce 6 large flasks, each containing an unknown booze mixed with catnip. He had obviously forgotten that Isabelle was a cat faunus but if he spoke up now it would seem like he was drugging her on purpose. After a moment he passed a flask around to everyone and held one for himself. "I brought booze...like that was a surprise" he laughed slightly and took a drink.

Raising his hand in greeting to the newcomers from his position on the floor, Issac takes another drink before turning to Aphelion. "What games are we talking about? Hopefully there's nothing too complicated. Also, we need music. Somebody pick something."
