The Wonderland Cafe [Open]

Q appeared behind one of the mobsters with a machete. he grabbed her and used her as a shield to the bullets. As soon as the other with the with the machete would be in range. He would shove the blade into his shield and try to get it in to the other.

Six mobsters taken down, only fourteen to go. Four tried to come at Q from behind, guns raised to fire, when suddenly they were batted aside like a bunch of ants by the broad side of a massive red blade.

"Watch your back," Alice said as she lifted up Scarlet Empress.

Two more mobsters came from the left and right of Q, machetes extended in front of them to run him through.

Q jumped to the air, and landed behind one of the mobsters. He jammed his blade into the one mobster, before kicking her into the other.

Megan blinked her eyes awake in a flurry trying to see what was going on. "Who-what-where?!" She said twisting around in her seat so much she fell over. She had fallen asleep waiting for her drink...wait...she ordered something right?

Getting back on her feet she looked around at the action going on and reacted quickly. She reached for her weapon...only to find she left her trident at the apartment. "Crap." She muttered.

Going under a table she decided to hide out there for bit. The other guys looked like they had this under control anyways.

With Alice knocking out four of them and Q running his blade through one, nine are left to deal with. With the one stepping off to the side to avoid the one Q kicked towards her, she retaliates with several shots aiming for Q's chest while four others come at him, two coming at his right, two coming from his left.

Seeing he is cut off, Q activates his semblance. He appears above the body his blade is in. He retrieves it, and goes for a low kick to the one with the gun. He goes to sweep kick her legs, and if it lands he will slash upwards with his blade.

Taking out a number bunch of waitresses, the mobster women start stepping away warily from Q. It seemed the swordsman had an absolute edge over these common female thugs. It looked like another successful end to a successful mission and another full paycheck.

BOOM!

A blast burst from the wall, busting a massive hole in it and blowing up the spot right next to Q. The smoke and debris blinded everyone's sights and the only sound heard was cackling and the sound of heavy foot stomps crushing debris and cement.

"It's about time you got here!" the lady mod boss yelled. "Take out this bastard right now!"

"Eeeeh heh heh he heheh," a twisted and slurry voice cackled as the figure stepped into the cafe. As the debris cleared, a large man standing eight feet tall revealed himself. "Ain't no kill like overkill I'd say."

Q looked at the beast. "Well........this may be fun." He thought as he clenched his blade. He darted from table to table, before reaching the tall man. He released some slashes, and cuts on him while keeping his distance. This will be interesting.

The massive man simply raised his arms and as Q slashed at them, his blade found itself clanging against metal.

"You need to do better then that little man," he cackled wickedly. The man's mechanical eye glow and all of a sudden a propulsion wave bursts out that would push Q over ten meters away like he's a leaf. The large man would then point his fingers at Q and shoot a hail of bullets at him.

Looking from underneath the table she could see the battle taking place and whispered to herself softly. "Man that guy is huge..." She wondered if that dude with the sword could take him on his own. Looking around she found a plate that been knocked down to the floor. Taking it she carefully aimed for the big guy and tossed it at him as best she could hopefully to distract him long enough for the other sword guy to get some hits in.

Q slid as he was sent flying. He listened as he heard the sound of a weapon about to fire. Uh oh. He then ducked behind a table. He would listen for him to stop firing before speeding to get behind him.

The shatters against the massive man with out effect and he doesn't even notice. He stops firing for a moment as he saw an entire long table fly out of nowhere and bash over him. "Alright, who's got the balls!?!?" he growled angrily as the wood shattered to splinters over his body.

"A little girl dressed as a loli maid!" Alice yelled back from the other side of the room. Her eyes glanced in the direction of Q signalling him in a silent show that here's his chance to take advantage of her distraction. "Hey! Big and ugly! You compensating with all that body fat or what??"

"BODY FAT???!!" he roared. "YOU ARE SO DEAD!"

Suddenly as he opened his mouth wide, the massive mercenary literally belched out a missile and soared right towards Alice. With a shriek the little girl grabbed the Knave of Guards from over her shoulder and hastily raised it in front of her only for the missile's impact to explode and knock her back until she hit the wall hard, sliding down against the ground grunting.

With a wicked cackle the man pulled out a spear from over his back and tossed it at sonic speed, the polearm aimed right for Alice while she was still stunned.

Q looks as the he 'sees' the spear. "NO!" He moves at amazing speeds, as he pushes Alice out of the way, and takes the hit. He looks down as the spear sticks out in front of him. Shit. He looked to the girl as he fell to the earth. "Kill the bitch in the suit." He said with a smile. He took in his last breath before everything went blank.

Megan realizing the girl was in danger now that the ninja guy took that hit popped out from underneath her table and wolf whistled to the guy to get his attention. "Yeah ugly I didn't know the circus freaks rolled into town today! Why don't you try and go on a diet and come back later!?" She yelled and ran in the opposite direction of the guys view of the girl.

Alice stared blankly at the dead man that saved her life. She stood up slowly, putting her arms through the straps behind Knave to properly attach the shield to her arm. Her other hand grips the handle sticking out of the shield.

"Hey," Alice called out sternly just as the large, monstrous man was about to turn around, "I knew this man. He was a friend of this homeless man named Rat."

The huge man turned towards Alice with a curious look.

"He's probably going to miss him," Alice murmured. "He said a lot of things about this man. I may not have known him myself but I do know this." Alice pulled Scarlet Empress out of Knave and with a flick of her wrist the scissor blade extended to full length. "I hate death without reason and now you're on the top of my shit list."

The bulky man shot at Alice with a rapid barrage of bullets but the little girl suddenly disappeared, moving to the side faster then humanely possible for such a small person. Before the huge man could shoot at her again, Alice darted forward and closed the distance in an instance. She slashed with her sword causing the man to stumble back. He tried to slam his fist down on her but the little girl jumped to the side and lunged with her sword, the blade splitting in the middle like a pair of scissors and clamping down on one of his legs, resulting in a metallic clang.

The huge man chuckled as the blade failed to cut him, but stopped as he was suddenly lifted off the ground. The little girl lifted him up off the ground, her weapon clutching tightly on his leg, as if he weighed nothing. The huge man flailed his arms as he was suddenly lifted up but before he could attack again, Alice pressed a button on her handle and the blade suddenly pops out, connected to the handle by a steal cable. Still clamped on the man's leg, Alice's blade shot him upward without effort and slammed him right through the ceiling before letting go.

Screaming and flailing angrily, the man fell back through the ceiling and landed heavily on the ground with a thud. He groaned painfully as Alice stepped on his head and lifted her blade above his neck, the tip hovering a foot above.

"Even if you throw me around, you can't cut me with that sword little brat!" he barked.

"Want a bet?" Alice said coldly. The man was silent. He was sweating and shaking. He was afraid, terrified beyond thought. His instincts told him he had to run. He had to escape. Before he could even move, Alice mumbled, "Off with your head" and activated her semblance and made her blade fall against the man's neck with the weight of sixteen elephants, the weight more then enough to make the blade force itself right through his head.

"No effing way..." the mob boss lady mumbled shaking just before Byron grabbed her and cuffed her.

"We're a lot more then meets the eye madam," Byron smiled, "Now let me escort you to bed... in your new cell."

The cafe closed early and everyone headed their separate ways. Alice sat on a chair, now wearing her usual blue party dress and bunny cap, her head resting on both of her hands as she slumped over with a bored look on her face.

"I better have gotten a raise for that," Alice mumbled.

"Oh you got something much more then that."

Cheshire walked up behind her as if appearing out of nowhere and showed her an envelope. It was crisp and fresh with a wax seal on it. Alice gingerly took the letter and turned it in her hands curiously. It doesn't feel like money...

"You've got a new fan who saw you back there," Cheshire stated, "A customer of mine. She works at Beacon."

"Really? Who?" Alice asked.

"I'm.... not at liberty to say," Cheshire mumbled averting his eyes. "Anyway, she saw your performance and your valiant spirit. She asked me about you and after hearing your... situation, she has decided to give you a place at Beacon."

Alice looked up at the faunus boy with wide eyes. "Wait, for real?"

"I look forward to seeing you in class," Cheshire murmured cooly as he rubbed her head like a child. "I've got a dinner date so I best be going." With that, Cheshire disappeared leaving Alice alone looking at the letter in her hand.

"I'm actually... going to get to.... have an education?"
