Beacon Workshop

Nodding, she sprints off out of the workshop, starting her search, yelling back, "Thank you again!"

"Haha no problem at all! Glad to help!"

Shem walks into the workshop and goes over to the section he personally assigned for himself. He tosses off the sheet of a big metal, rusty mess of a motorcycle. Above the "piece of junk" are two pictures.

    

He looks down back at the future motorcycle's parts, dons welder's goggles and begins putting parts together.

Kaitlin walks in and inspects her hover-blades (hover roller-blades).

Shem pokes his head out of the pile of metal he was working on and lifting his goggles. "Hey kait!" He waves her over. "What you doin' here sweetheart?"

"Just making sure nothing is broken."

She says while staring at her roller-blades.

Early morning. The sun had barely risen, it's red glimmer lighting up the dark skies to form lines of purple-orange clouds. It was only 7AM. I had class in 8:30, so I still had time. How I'd managed to wake up, I had no idea. But the sleep, although late, was still earlier than the normal time I would have gone to bed. Even if Melissa did keep on bugging us about stuff. Plus, it was the first few days at Beacon. My brain's still probably a bit...hyper.

I walked through the buildings, in bridges and in the outdoors areas. In some ways, Beacon reminded me of an airport - and it did have a set of landing pads. But the design looks like a cross between a castle with a princess stranded at the top and a high-tech international airport with terminals, arrivals, departures, food stores, etc. While nowhere near as large as an airport, the ease of understanding where to go was just the same - actually, pretty easy. I knew where I was going, I knew where it was, and I knew the most efficient way to get there.

The workshop.

I stepped in. There were some others inside, but I paid them no mind. The main thing I wanted here was the scanner - while other places had the same tech - which was a simple resonance emitter that scans a 3D object's shape, heat, etc. to form a model along with giving information on what it did. While other places in Vale had these scanners, this was probably the only place that offered the service for free.

It looked a lot like some kind of cryo tube you'd see in a science fiction game - but what it did was completely different.

I placed my sword in it.

"Oh...everything ok? Shem asks standing up from his mechanical mess.

"Well I felt like I was just a reflection of your past mainly cause your mom was a faunus who died and I'm a faunus and I felt like you were dating me cause I was like your mom."

"Faunus or not, Kait, she was my mom...or treated me like she was. I barely knew her, she died when I was young. I dated you cuz you were the cute little faunus that kept blushing at me when I did or said something and stayed with me in the infirmary after the beach incident. You just feel so distant recently, I feel like I'm doing something wrong..." Shem looks down at his mechanical mess. "...I'm sorry..."

"By the way, I forgot to give these back..."

Kaitlin hands him a bag full of lollipops.

"They tasted terrible."

Shem just holds the bag of lollipops without a word and stares at them. "....I'm going back to work now..." He said emotionless as he leans back down and continues working.

Kaitlin looks at him annoyed then gets a evil idea.

She pushes Shem onto a chair and sits on his lap.

She looks like she is going cry (fake, of course)

"A-are you really mad at me? *sniffle*"

In her head:

'MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA'

"No...I cant be mad at you...Its just that you changed a little. So have I but you changed..." Shem says looking into her eyes, trying to get comfortable in the chair with her on his lap.

Kaitlin looks like she was about the cry when he said that she changed.

"Oh okay..."

Kaitlin is testing his reactions...

Shem shocked at her sudden change of emotion. "Were...were you playing with me?" with a inch of annoyance in his voice.

'DAMMIT'

Kaitlin looks at him.

"No?"

He stands up and looks at her in anger. "Are you TOYING with my emotions at a time like this?! Kaitlyn, my dad is dead, my real dad is a ruthless killer, my 2 best friends are slowly becoming to the brink of leaving me out of things, and my girlfriend is TOYING with my EMOTIONS?!" Shem's eyes flare red as his red aura appears around him. "WHY?! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!"

Aeden walks into the workshop and sees Shem and Kaitlyn. "Hey guys whats up?" Aeden then notices a thin red aura around Shem. "Oh no not again."

Kaitlin, getting frustrated, blows up.

"YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T NEED TO BE YELLED AT I GOT ENOUGH OF THAT WITH MY DAD! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NEXT? BEAT ME LIKE HE DID? NO, YOU DON'T NEED TO. LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE, SHEM DRAKUR."

Kaitlin storms off using her hoverblades.

Aeden rushes over to Shem. "Whats going on why are you two fighting? Shem buddy come on you have to stay calm."

Lucina walks in right behind Aeden and sees Shem and Kaitlyn exploding in anger...

"LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE, SHEM DRAKUR." the words that shot Shem through the heart....stopping Ragnarok in its tracks... Shem falls to his knees with a wide eyed shocked face....just staring at the door she just walked out of...He didnt say a word...He didnt need to...Shem Drakur....was alone.

Lucina walks over to Kaitlyn and pokes tries to calm her by doing stuff

Kaitlin heads to the cafe, needing to cool off.

Aeden sees as his best friend falls to his knees with a glazed look in his eyes. "Shem! Shem! What did she say to you?"

Aeden turns to Lucina. "Can you go after her. Ill take care of Shem."
