Runner and Hunters

As you're watching the TV you notice a commercial comes on about some type of contest. Then you hear a mans voice come on.

“Bored? Need something to do? Like to play a game of chance? Look no further. Tomorrow at noon we will be holding a small game. The object of the game is to keep a hold of a 80lb metal ball about the size of a shot-put, until a horn is blown 10 hours after the start of the game. Once the game starts the runner will get a 30 second head start with the ball. Be cautious, the field of play is littered with spike traps, whip traps, mace traps, side-closing panji trap, a few grenade traps, and for those who make it to the 5 hour mark and special type of grimm will be released into the area. ( For those who wish to see what the traps look like and do. ) Anyone hurt will be evacuated immediately by medical staff. Colored smoke grenades will be handed out to participants. Throw down the smoke when you give up or are hurt. If the ball carrier surrenders, the ball is free game to those who want it. Understand this only one grenade will be given use it wisely. Six grenades will be available meaning only six people may participate.. The field of play is a small fenced off area inside the emerald forest. Anyone who tries to leave with the ball will be eliminated from play. As for the ball carrier if he tries to leave the ball will give the carrier with a painful but non-lethal electric shock. The shock will make the carrier unable to drop the ball, and will only stop after returning to the field of play (warning extend time with the ball while it is giving off electricity can result in 2nd degree burns and/or hair loss.). The winner of the game shall receive a grand prize of 10,000 lien as well as a new modified vehicle. A brand-new, reinforced frame, motorcycle with two removable and interchangeable customized chainsaws, or a prototype mech suit loaded with guns, flamethrowers, and twin thrusters in the back. (Whatever is not picked will be melted down for scrap.(as in lost forever.)) So come on down, if you're up for the challenge.”
