Grudge Match Pt 2 [CLOSED; SDJL]

Inigo sees Kirkka nod and smirks.

He launches himself forward towards shard in a weaving path (zig-zag). When he gets near enough to Shard, he performs a leg sweep.



If that is dodged or blocked, Inigo will au (cartwheel) around Shard and perform another low sweep.

Shard's kick comes down on Inigo's bent forearm. (Neither of his weapon sets are currently activated).

The kick is hard and causes a numbness to the area it strikes, but does not stop his movement.

Continuing with the spinning momentum, Inigo circles around Shard ((What Inigo has been doing this whole time is circling within a close proximity of Shard with shard being the center))

He feigns a misstep, but performs a dropkick out of the sequence aimed at Shard's abdomen.

Shard weighs his options; he can dodge the attack and go back to his 'Avoid Evade' tactics, or he can take the kick and use it to MAYBE get an advantage over Inigo. The second option had the drawback of tempting the Beast, but at this point, Shard doesn't care.
Inigo's foot is travelling towards him, and chooses the second.
Shard catches inigo's kick as it connects with his abdomen. It hurt, but he'd taken much worse and dealt with it. He yanked Inigo's leg out from under him as he stood up, and used the leg as leverage to get a kick at Inigo's manhood.

((OOC, Shard plays dirty. Sorry.))

Shard's foot connects with Inigo's crotch. A jolt of pain surges through his body and he winces.

He grabs Shard's leg and pulls him down as he brings his head up to headbutt him, face-to-face.

Their foreheads clash, and for a split-second his vision goes blank. Inigo thrashes wildly until he regains his vision, by then, the Sleeper bolt hits Inigo in the right leg above the knee, then being separated from the lock, the Gel-bolt hits his left food grounding him to the arena floor.

Inigo kneels down on his left leg, facing Shard with his right leg completely numb.

He glares at Shard, then cracks a smirk.

"Well? What are you waiting for? Finish me if you can! Or are you too afraid?" with a sinister grin.

"If you think you're safe standing over there...well, let's just say that you're not"


Inigo activates his armaments.

"But if you don't hurry up, there's no telling what might happen" with a fox-like smile.

Inigo becomes enclosed in Shard's dome of debris. Just when he is out of Shard's sight, he pulls out the Stunner bolt and uses uses his right Push Fist to shoot ENERGY into his right leg.

Simultaneously, he uses his left Push Fist to HEAT the area around his left foot, evaporating the goo.

He regains the use of his right leg, albeit being very stiff-feeling. Inigo then stands up and waits to see what happens.

Inigo feels the dome begin to move around him. He takes a wide stance.

As he feels the dome begin to shift downwards, he claps his hands together, activating the Push Fists' alternate function, sending an extremely high voltage shock at the dome wall, and by extension, directly down the length of Shrapnel and at Shard.

While Inigo is grounded due to his footwear, the extremely high amount of energy surging from his weapon would cause the electricity to arc within the dome. He will not emerge from this unscathed, but he wasn't going to make this easy for Shard.

Recovering from the shock, Inigo heard a thud as Shrapnel pierced the dome and as a tiny ray of light from the outside poured in. He felt the dome begin to rise again.

'This again?'

He reached for the blade of Shrapnel and gripped it with his covered hands, then swung his legs up to brace himself onto the wall of the dome.

'Let's see if this'll teach him'

He activated all of his armaments and began surging ENERGY down the length of Shrapnel and braced for impact.

'Okay, I've been in here long enough!'

Inigo extended his arms above his head (Superman-style) andactivated his 'Jump'. In an instant he butst out of the dome upwards. He reoriented his body to put his feet on the arena's ceiling, spotted Shard and towards him.

Inigo dove down at Shard when suddenly Shard raised his weapon. A tube-tunnel began surrounding Inigo. He immediately outstretched his limbs and jammed his feet and hands into the walls; slowing him to a stop.

Using his other three limbs to hold him in place, Inigo began kick against the wall of the tube. Loud thuds and bangs echoed throughout the stadium.

"Who's the [EXPLETIVE]?! Let me out of this thing! Or are you afraid?

"Well if you're not going to let me out. I'll let myself out!"

Inigo began charging his Heavy Heel kicks with DUST. With each kick, the metal began to bend more and more. The dent got bigger and bigger. And after each kick, a gale-force wind blew out the bottom end of the tunnel; howling and whistling, but most of all, slowing dispersing the pit-trap that lay beneath.

Shard could see what Ingio's plan was. Not surrendering.
He stands up, with a smile on his face. Inigo may have been dispersing the Gel with the wind he was making, but the other bolts where stuck IN the ground. They weren't budging an inch. And with that, Shard kept his promise.
"Well, I gave you the chance to get out of the pain, but I guess you're as dumb as you look."
Shard readied Shrapnel, and kicked his plan into motion.
By using the entire Dust cartridge, he extended the tube right down to the floor, and right in the most bolt-heavy part of the trap (And fixed the dents). He replace the cartridge, and used the second one up to make the roof descend down the tube. If Inigo was unable to get out of it, he would be pushed right into a large cluster of Sleeper, Flasher, Silencer and regular bolts, and slightly crushing Inigo against the floor.

((OOC, ouch, sorry Nitz. That means if inigo doesn't get out, those bolts are not only gonna do their little tricks, but act as regular bolts and actually pierce skin. I assume you understand.))

A wall of metal closing down above him and a pit of spikes below...

Inigo had little choice but to break out of this tunnel. He tucked his body in for a moment, retracting his limbs, then in an instant triggering the refined dust carts in his armaments. The walls would collapse and Inigo would take the brief opportunity to blast out of the tunnel, tucking and rolling as he lands.

Inigo rose to his feet, pointed a finger at Shard, and uttered:

"You may be bigger than me, but if you want to fight me unarmed, I'm afraid it'd be over too quickly, my friend" smiling.

Not waiting for a response,

"But if that's what you want..."

Inigo deactivated his armaments and they retracted into their compact forms.

"Maybe I was wrong. Maybe you do have a pair!"
