Error in Binary [Closed]

Glynda Goodwitch stood outside of the circular battle area as three students stood inside, as far from each other as possible and in a triangular formation. She pushes her glasses up the ridge of her nose before clearing her throat, getting the attention of the students who, up to this point, been eyeing each other. "As all of you know this will be a standard three-way free for all battle. Were it up to me there would be three third year students here and not two and a first year but Mr. Tiru insists on fighting you two." She said, looking at Malina and Gwyn. "That being said, treat your opponents how you would Grimm but do not kill them. Understood, Mrs. Eveningstar?" she asked Malina and before waiting for a response continued speaking. "There will be certain complications during the fight, do try to avoid them. Your aura levels will be displayed up there..." She said, pointing to three screens behind the arena with each of the fighter's face on separate screens. "When your aura levels fall to the red, you will be removed from the fight. When I say begin the match will start. Are you all ready?"

Malina stood with Gwyn on her left and Austin on her right. 'Same speech every time...' She thought to herself as she ignored Glynda in favor of looking between Gwyn and Austin. 'Phh, a first year? This should be over before it even starts...he looks like a close range fighter...be best to use guns for him...her on the other hand...third year...looks like she's proficient at long range. Better use hand to hand for her.' After taking her time looking over her opponents Malina spins around her right weapon into it's hand gun position before gripping the barrel. "Ready when they are." Malina simply said, in response to Goodwitch's final question.

Gwyn looked at her adversaries, her knees shaking together as she held one of her revolver pistol's in her hand with her arms pressed tightly against her chest. She didn't want to be here right now, as the girl with the scorpion tail was frightening her. The first year, what? There was a first year? Oh yeah, that other guy. Gwyn was too distracted by the girl with the scorpion tail to really notice him. From what Ms. Goodwitch said, her name was Malina. A name that was somewhat familiar to Gwyn, as she heard her name a few times before. She was unpleasant, from what she heard, and mean, and cruel and... other things. But right now Gwyn needed to calm down. She didn't want to deal with this right now, but another part of her did. The other two voices in her head told her they wanted to deal with it, but only one of them was even eligible for this situation. The other would just... kill everything.

With a sigh, Gwyn's current dominant personality receded back into her body's brain, letting her other, more aggressive side take over. It was then that her physical demeanor completely changed. She sighed and grew a wicked evil grin, and her knees stopped shaking. Her posture turned from timid to more vulgar and slouchy, and her head turned to look at everything around her. On her back was her anti tank rifle in it's dormant form, making it so no one knew it was an anti-tank rifle, and a shotgun, with her one pistol in hand and the other still strapped to her leg. "Oh, this'll be fun." she said as she put a hand on her hip and waited for her opponents to make a move.

It was apparent that everyone expected him to fail from the start. In a fight between a first-year and a third-year, the third-year usually wins. Usually. Remember. Start slow. Give them very little to work with. Figure out their weaknesses, then exploit them.

That Malina girl seems more of a threat, but the other one... Might let them duke it out, then take them down while they're busy with eachother. Tiru glanced over at Mrs. Goodwitch as she finished her speech, then looked over his opponents again. "I'm set. Let the sparks fly." he said, before putting his right foot forward, shifting his weight to that leg, and letting his bandaged right arm hang by his side, while his left was behind his back, gripping the handle of Boreal.

Glynda looked between all three students carefully before raising her crop into the air. "Very well. Begin." With that she flicked her crop downward and a large purple barrier surrounded the arena, meeting over middle, leaving no room to escape.

Malina quickly checked her rounds. Ice in the right, propulsion in the left. "Tell me 'Mr. Tiru', have you heard of survival of the fittest?" Malina said as she raised her right weapon and fired two ice rounds toward his shins, thereafter she brought her left arm toward him in a punch, firing off a shot as she did so, and flew toward him with great speed. As she approached the boy she moved her left arm in a upper cut, firing off a round at the peak, and sent herself into the air above the boy. As she reached the peak of her rise she glanced quickly toward Gwyn to see what she was doing before focusing back on Austin. She pointed her left weapon upward and fired off a shot, sending her downward in a quick descent with her weapon's blunt end aimed toward the boy. "It's really quite interesting!" She yelled over the whipping air as she passed downward.

Gwyn sighed and watched Malina go to work, the bunny girl herself not really doing much. Instead of attacking with her guns (that she totally had in her hand right now), she looked towards them and casually strolled in their general direction. It was true she had a shotgun for close range, but her main methods of attack were usually long-ranged. She had a plan in mind that would make it so it didn't really matter how close she was. With a quick snap of her fingers, another copy of Gwyn appeared from her body, making it look like her person had split into two identical clones and begun walking just to the side of the two other contestants. Both of the clones lifted up their arms and aimed their guns in an identical way, both taking aim at Malina's head, but only the one that had walked to the left side actually fired a bullet. Upon doing this, the other clone disappeared, and she in turn took a few steps back, aiming again to fire two more shots at the scorpion girl. Afterwards, she just stood there, waiting for someone to actually attack her.

Tiru wasted no time as the girl with the scorpion tail opened fire on him, quickly drawing and igniting Boreal. He then swung the blade twice in order to counter the incoming dust rounds, a sly smirk on his face as he prepared to dodge the incoming body blow…

Only to end up taking a full force uppercut to the face, knocking him flat on his back. Well. Crap. Tiru shook his head, then looked up, finding the scorpion girl in midair. Double crap. Tiru quickly got up as the girl fired her weapon, sending her barreling down toward him. Then he had an idea. Wordlessly, Tiru rolled out of the way, sprung to his feet, and executed a roundhouse kick aimed for her stomach as she was about to hit the ground.

'Shit, the girl's taking sho-' Malina thought as she brought up Manticore to block the bullets but was cut off by a kick to the stomach, sending her back a few feet before rolling to her own feet and letting the bullets pass over her. "It's gonna take a bit more than that to break through aura, kid." She muttered to herself before whipping her head behind her to look at the approaching girl. "Ya know, I didn't take you for the close range type." She turned back to Austin and aimed her right weapon at his chest. "If you'll excuse me..." Malina said before firing off an ice round toward the boy's chest then whipping her body back around to Gwyn and firing off a propulsion round, sending her flying toward the girl. As she approached her the chamber inside of Manticore spun and stopped on it's paralyzing poison before the stinger came up from below and made a slash at the girl's right leg.

"Close range? Please, I'm every range." Gwyn said, watching Malina go after Tiru. With a sigh, Gwyn removed her anti-tank rifle from her back, pressing a button to cause it to extend into it's full form. It was almost as long as her body, from the tip of the barrel all the way down to the end of the stock. She slung it over her shoulder and aimed it downwards and behind her before pulling the trigger with a seeming maniacal laugh. Her rifle was loaded with propulsion rounds, so when she fired, Gwyn went flying upwards and away from Malina. She did this all the while with casual posture, not really caring about a thing right now. With another sigh, Gwyn looked down on the other two and fired down upon them, mostly upon Tiru this time as she flew, landing on her feet and tucking into a roll just after firing her last shot at the first year. "We'll see how you deal with that." she said, noting that she was considerably far from the others now. With a flick of her wrist, the revolver chamber swung open and the empty shells she had just fired dropped onto the ground with several "clinks" before immediately being replaced by a fresh batch of rounds. Another flick of her wrist caused the chamber to close and Gwyn pressed a button on her rifle, causing it to shrink so she could place it on her back. After doing so, she took out her other pistol and aimed at the two other 'contestants' before firing at least ten rounds of repulsion dust rounds at the two.

Tiru smirked as the kick connected, only for the slight victory to fade when she got back up, took aim and fired. The single round was easily deflected by Boreal, but his efforts were soon rendered meaningless as the other girl took to the air, and rained bullet upon bullet down on him. Oh, this is gonna suck. was all he could think as he bolted toward the edge of the ring. His efforts left him taking a shot to his right shoulder, right forearm, left thigh, and his back. Yeah… that might hurt for a while. he thought, grimacing, before looking back toward his opponents.

The bunny girl opened fire again, and four of the rounds connected with Tiru, sending him into the barrier.

”That tears it!” the grey wolf growled as he drew the Dancing Lights, shifted them into SMG mode, and opened fire, sending roughly twenty D-EM rounds flying toward the rabbit.

Malina rolled to the side, avoiding most of the bullets but not all. After regaining her footing she pointed her left weapon to the side of her and perpendicular to Gwyn before firing off a shot and sending her to the edge of the arena, quickly reloading her weapons after coming to a stop. After reloading she gripped onto her weapons, prepared to use them at any moment, while she waiting for Austin and Gwyn to fight it out.

Gwyn dodged around the bullets, blocking the last few with a shield of aura she managed to quickly throw up. After that she fired the last six remaining bullets she had at Tiru before quickly reloading, this time with ice dust rounds. And now she charged at Tiru. Getting close range probably wasn't a good idea for her, but it was just as bad for Tiru as it was for her. She smiled as she came within range of Tiru and she leaped to Tiru's left, a clone appearing where she was when she moved to the side, and another one appearing that leaped to the right in the same way she had. This was done so that it looked like she could have been or done anything that the clone did, and she did this to confuse Tiru. As Gwyn charged Tiru from the left, the other clones did the same thing, mimicking her movements perfectly as she approached Tiru.

Tiru wove through the rounds, only for the girl to charge at him. The grey wolf was prepared for a counter, but then the girl made copies of herself. Two of them. So you wanna play like that, huh? Grinning slyly, Tiru popped his knuckles, electricity crackling along his skin. Then, without an ounce of hesitation, Tiru turned to the girl... copy... whatever to his left, quickly lashing out with an electric snap kick. Almost immediately after executing the kick, Tiru struck again with an electric sweep kick to knee strike to the girl(copy?) on his right. Grinning, Tiru then attempted to take the last one down with an electric axe kick.

Gwyn stepped back out of range of the kick towards her, and when Tiru turned his back to kick the other Gwyns, that was when she made her move. She unloaded both of her guns at Tiru, her sharpshooting skills showing as all but 3 of the 16 shots fired would hit him, assuming he stood still. They were ice dust rounds, 16 of them, and all flying towards him. "Yeah, have fun dealing with that." she said before reloading her guns, this time with fire dust. "And now for Ms. Malina." she said, jumping off towards the side and unleashing a barrage of about 8 bullets from one of her handguns towards the scorpion. You know, just to keep her busy and stuffs.

With a flick of her crop, Glynda brought up a large shield in front of Austin, letting the rounds clang against it before falling to the ground. With another flick of her crop dark storm clouds form above the arena and begin to swirl around and around.

Malina pointed her weapons to the ground and fired off two propulsion rounds, sending her high into the air. "If you think I'll be as easy as pipsqueak over there you got another thing coming!" She yelled down to Gwyn before firing off another round behind her and descending toward the girl with Manticore aimed to slice into her right arm.  

In the next second Glynda brought down her crop, causing large icicles to come down into the arena. With another flick of her weapon several of the icicles molded together to form a much larger, but less sharp, icicle. Glynda swung her riding crop sideways, sending the large ice object to fly into Gwyn's side, sending her flying into one of the glyphs surrounding the arena. "Ms. Fioled. If you recall I stated that there would be no fatal strikes. Mr. Tiru's aura is now in the yellow range. Bullets fired that close, despite what kind they are, will break through his aura and leave serious damage. You may continue now, Mr. Tiru." She say as the glyph protecting Austin lowers itself.

In the meantime Malina had missed her mar due to the icicle and had crashed into the ground. As she stood up she leaned backwards and dislodged Manticore from the arena floor and turned toward Gwyn, who has since gotten herself back up. "Looks like Ms. every range can't block attacks very well huh?" Malina asks sarcastically before firing off another propulsion round and send herself flying toward Gwyn. As she neared Gwyn, Malina pressed down on the tip of her foot, sending her into a spin, with Manticore now extended outward and ready to make a horizontal slice.

Gwyn yelled out when she was struck from the icicle, partially in pain but mostly in surprise. 'Damn Glynda. More like Glynda GoodBITCH, am I right!?' she thought to herself before she quickly got up to deal with Malina, who was propelling herself towards Gwyn. "You try blocking shit with guns when you aren't very strong in the first place!" she shouted in response to Malina's question. Gwyn crossed the barrels of her pistols to catch Manticore in between them, but was instead sent flying back a few feet. Her guns hardly took a scratch. "Thank god I built these things out of ridiculously strong metals... Too bad they're just guns so it doesn't really matter." she mumbled to herself.

It took no more than a second to aim at Malina and pull the trigger on both of her pistols, unleashing her last few bullets from them before she had to reload again. But that would take too long, so instead she holstered her pistols at her legs and pulled her shotgun off her back. It was loaded with normal bullets for now, nothing special so there wouldn't be any burning or freezing. Much to her dismay. Gwyn took aim at Malina, but by the time she did that the pseudo-faunus girl would already be upon the bunny again.

Tiru growled as the doubles faded away, then turned to face the girl, who had both of her guns aimed at him within point blank range. He had no time to react as the girl opened fire, and expected the worst… Only for a purple barrier, similar to the one covering the arena, to envelop him, protecting him from the incoming ice rounds. The grey wolf glanced around, wondering what the hell was going on, when he spotted Glynda. She had saved him. Why?

The thought left his mind as a series of storm clouds materialized above the arena, raining down shards of ice. The mini-barrier protected him from the incoming icicles, and Tiru smirked as the girl who almost killed him took an exceptionally large icicle to the torso. Serves ya right. Tiru quickly checked his scroll, which he had mounted on the underside of his right wrist, then looked back toward the ensuing melee as the battle ensued and his barrier dissipated. Aight, aura’s in the yellow. I want to run over there and stomp the bunny into the ground, but it is too risky. Besides, that Malina girl is still a major threat. I’ll stick back and see how this plays out.

Malina's aura took a hard hit from the bullets, bringing it down close to the yellow and leaving scorch marks across her chest. As she kicks back onto her feet she locks eyes with Gwyn and begins strafing to the right and getting closer to the girl, barely dodging shotgun shells as she ran. Just as she was barely out of arms reach Manticore shot out and wrapped itself around around her left arm. With a sudden jerk of her tail, Malina pulled Gwyn forward and to the left of Malina. As Gwyn passed by Malina's left side she flipped her weapon so that the long end of the barrel was pointed past her fist and she brought it in a horizontal strike toward Gwyn's gut.

Gwyn yelped as she was hit by Malina, the impact forcing her backwards a bit before she took aim at Malina with her shotgun and fired at her twice. She hadn't aimed directly at Malina, but rather had aimed at the girl's shoulders so the spray of bullets would hit her arms and just to the side of her as well. Unfortunately Gwyn had to be quite close to this so she prepared to jump backwards. Until then, she formed two clones on either side of her that mimicked her movement to possibly throw Malina off. Now would be a good time to get an opening, so now was when she had to start planning around her enemy's plan to plan around her plan. Yeah, that made sense. Kind of.

"Doesn't matter anyways..." she mumbled, taking aim at Malina and firing directly at her once. For now she just needed to keep the pseudo-faunus at bay while she planned.
