Rooms to Donut

(week 16: Monday)

Looking for that one thing to make that drab room fab. Welcome to Rooms to Donut. A place where you can find friendly service, and anything you could ever need to make that room look spectacular. We have everything from decorative stands to curtains. I suggest the lace......lace is totally in right now. So come on down, to Rooms to Donut. We have that special touch when you don't. We have a new system now bring in any dead Grimm, and we will buy it off you and make it into a trophy.

Sam walked into the store dragging Fionn. She walked up to the front desk where a small boy was asleep. She grabbed a small ball, and hit him over the head with it. "I"M AWAKE!......Sam.....why the hell are you here, it's your day off?" David rubbed his head and glared at her. Sam just shrugged, and smiled. "Go to hell Sam. What do you want anyway?" She pointed to a small door in the back labeled manager. "He's in go ahead." David sat back, and rested his head on the chair.

Sam threw the door open and startled a man in a pink sweater. "Hello Miss Richards, how can I Help you?" The man smiled a warm smile. Sam got behind Fionn, and pushed him forwards to speak.

"Hey um i need like a job" Fionn said to the man, his grin gone
"God damnit i have never done this before"
"Im like really good at selling things"
"That much is true"

The man smiled and gestured him to sit. "In the needs of sellers we are good here." He grabbed a small apple and threw it through a small window above his door. "OW I'M UP DAMN IT!" He just laughed. He folded his hands together, and looks at the boy. "Now then tell me some of your skills."

Fionn did a mock cough
"Well i am fast" He said moving his arm around
"And i can do math well"
"Oh and if you need someone to "take care of the compe-" Fionn was interrupted by Sam slapping him in the back of the head
"I mean, i can clean a house in five minutes" He rubbed the back of his head

The man looked at him. "Go back. From the sounds of it your good at eliminating things. I could use you for that. You see we sell Grimm trophies. Tell you what bag a Ursa Major, and bring it back here in one piece. I'll pay you three months wages right now. Now if that's to much for you, it looks like Sam will have to go hunting again." Sam just dropped her head. She typed to Fionn. [I have been hunting since 6'o clock. I was napping until I had to bail your ass out. If I have to work late. You will not like it]
Out in the front of the store David was reading the paper when a large man walked in. "Can I help you?"
"I am searching for someone." David just shruuged and continued reading.

Fionn smiled a bright smile
"Holy crap really?"
"I have like four of those at my dorm, wait give me thirty minutes and i will get them for you!"
Before the man had time to respond Fionn had already given Sam a kiss and ran out the door, right into a mammoth of a man

X43 looked down. "Found him. Target the station has asked me to keep tabs on you so I shall be escorting you to and from, no arguments." (Don't argue mate just do it. Hes there to help kill big grimm.)

Fionn looked at the man
"This is going to be fun" He thought
"Yeah Yeah sure, just don't slow me down" Fionn said to the bot
He walked out the door with the creepy thing behind him






Fionn returned with the bot twenty five minutes later, he was covered in blood, the bot did not seem to care
"Freaking stupid robot thing" Fionn mumbled as he stepped into the office, and threw down four of the skulls

Mirai was walking along the street with her companion, her hands slapping her fan in her back and forth as she thought about things to shop for. She was wearing a blue green dress with a wide-brimmed hat.

"Lace, lace, that's exactly what our dorm room needs," she said as Rayden shaded her with her parasol. She sees the store up ahead and quirks an eyebrow. "What's with the tacky name? Oh well, they look like they have something that can get rid of all your unruly masculine objects in the room. I'm sick of seeing the plain walls. Let's go."

She tugged on Rayden's wrist like a child and opened the store door hoping their service at least had the courtesy to welcome them as they did.

David looked up heard the door ring. "Welcome to Rooms to-." He cut off as soon as he saw who it was. "Well long time no see. How have you been?"

Del looked at the skulls and nodded. "First mistake. We needed the whole thing. Second mistake next time go through the back. Lastly, nice job bagging four of them. The skulls will need bleached and hung, but other then that looks great. Welcome aboard. Now I heard the doo ring so just go through that door and wash up." He said pointing to a door to the left of his office. "Back there is employee lounge, and wash rooms. In the back is storage, and restoration work. Also call me Del." He said shaking the mans hand. When he retracted his hand he left Fionn's paycheck in his hand.

Fionn felt great  
He walked into the employee lounge where Sam was, and immediately gave her the whole paycheck  
"That should cover it"  
He sighed and took a sip of whiskey  
"Thanks again for bailing me out, it means a lot to me"  
He considered sitting down for a second and then remembered  
"Oh yeah, i should clean up first"  
Fionn whimpered as he took off his dress shirt and jacket
"God damnit my coat and shirt are ruined, what can i wear?"

Rayden had already gotten used to being dragged along by Mirai and made no comment about it. He was however quite happy to be spending time with Mirai outside the dorm room. Tis been far too long since milady enjoyed a relaxing day in town. Upon hearing Mirai speak about the room Rayden became slightly confused. Is lace truly a necessity? Rayden was still getting accustomed to life in the city and to women in general and found things such as lace an odd thing to have around. Rayden closed Mirai's parasol and gave the store a quick look over should he need to defend Mirai. It was at this point that he heard one of the employees recognize Mirai. Ah I see an acquaintance of milady.

Mirai let off her usual smirk and she waved out her fan in front of her face.

"David Maloney," Mirai said still remembering the name. "Surely it must be fate that's brought us back together since the Lone Star and Hotel Histoire. I'm sure I can rely on you to help me in my time of need. Oh, let me introduce you."

She poked her fan at Rayden.

"This is Rayden Niles, my loyal escort and teammate," she said. "We're here today looking for something to brighten up a terribly boring and unforgivably masculine dorm room. Any recommendations?"

He just smiled. "Well that all depends. What style you want. Renaissance? Colonial? Possibly royalty?" He said. As he talked he stood up, and walked around the store. "I warn you though. Things here are a bit pricey."

At that moment Fionn walked into the room, face covered in blood, shirtless, and with a large gash in his chest
"Hey you guys got anymore paper towels, i ran out"

David just sighed. "Stock room ask Sam. She should know." He said as he looked down the isles.

Sam was in the back on her break listening to some music. X43 simply helped around in back loading and unloading things.

Noticing all the blood Rayden did not hesitate in the least. In one fluid motion Rayden stepped in front of Mirai, drew Obiettivo, and aimed it directly at the bloody person who just came in. "Milady we must leave this place at once it is not safe." Rayden glanced over to the David person Mirai had introduced and gave him a look of suspicion. I must get milady away from here as quickly as possible.

"Thanks" Fionn said to the man before the other man stepped in with his rifle
He stared at him with a blank expression  
"I'm not even going to ask"
He walked into the back of the store with the gash on his chest  
"Hey, um, got any more paper towel?" He asked
He glared at X43 for a moment  
"Also um, i appear to be out of shirts"

David just sighed. "Calm down. He's a new employee. He went out to hunt Grimm. Our manager is doing a special. For every Grimm brought in he'll pay you as much lien as its worth. He just happened to return from the hunt. Also no weapons allowed to out. Could scare people." He deadpanned.

Sam looked up, and pointed to the Wash rooms. She then typed a bit. [Upper cabinet.] She went back to her magazine.

Mirai had seen Fionn come in with the gash on his chest but was unmoved by Rayden's urge to leave.

"We'll be fine," Mirai said bored. "It's none of our business. Anyways, Mr. Maloney, I'm looking for Victorian pieces. If you have a canopy bed maybe, a couple of curtains, armchairs...money's not an issue, I can promise you that."

Fionn smiled at Sam and nodded his head
"Thanks"
He headed back to the washroom and put the other shirt on, and got the rest of the blood off his face
"Not as comfortable as my usual shirts but it will do"
He went back to the back where Sam was

David cheered up. He directed them to the back of the store. "Here we are. This section has everything from shields to have your own symbol added on, to the softest sheets possible. Now canopy bed sets are here. This one is more for high class. It has a lovely white and red combo, and is a soft as rabbit fur."

With Mirai's words, Rayden reluctantly slings Obiettivo over his shoulder once again. Though he has put his weapon away Rayden does not lose his look of suspicion regarding the store. "Mr. Maloney I would greatly appreciate not having anymore occurrences such as that if thou dost not mind." With each item Mirai lists off Rayden begins to wonder how exactly they would get it all home. I very much hope they offer some kind of deliver service.

"Oh please Rayden, no need to be so stiff."

The voice came from behind accompanied by the sound of wheels rolling through the floor.

"Yo," Rider greeted giving a two finger salute. "I was browsing the local shops and I noticed you two going in here. I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

Rider came in his usual attire, an off white waist coat, a white vertical stripe patterned dress shirt, and a red neckerchief tied into three layers of ruffles. His legs were covered by the same blanket with his symbol on it and he pushed his hands were covered by white riding gloves with red daimonds prints on the back of each one.

One off difference though was he wore a white fedora, his ears poking out of holes punched through the rim.

Mirai had taken off her gloves to feel the fabrics and had picked a nice white coverlet for her own bed until she could decide on a canopy. She heard Rider from behind.

"Ah, if it isn't the perverted rabbit," Mirai gave the remark bluntly. "I honestly thought you'd be spending time pleasing the lust of desperate women. No you're not disrupting anything. Now, how do you feel about red-currant curtains?"
