Occupation: A part time counseler and student at Beacon academy, 2nd year.

Appearance: Asami stands at about 5.6" and tends to wear her Beacon uniform almost everywhere except for public and combat situations. In public situations she would change into a more casual attire, while in a combat situation would change into a more combat suited attire. She has an overall slender build. She has Sky blue eyes and blonde hair, (like her sister). She is also totally blind and can't see anything.

History: At a young age Asami always dreamed of becoming an astronomer or a stargazer without a care in the world. Her dreams would never come true though because she was born blind. She attended a private, all girls school, but ended up leaving because she never was able to adjust to it and became homeschooled. She lived with her father, but did not know where her mother was because she finally manage to escape from the arranged marriage and move to Vale about a year after her birth. She asked her father but he would just pass on the question and say she isn't here right now. Her last name was Elias, but her true last name was Kurayami which she did not find out until she was told by her source of information. Her mother had a relation with the father of Asami even though she had a husband. Asami would not find out that he was already deceased and her mother was forced into the marriage. The way she found out about her mother was from a butler who was recently employed at the Kurayami household who was fired and accepted a job at Asami's fathers household. He knew that his old master had a daughter and her last name was Elias. So he told her everything he knew. She soon became angered by the fact that her father had been lying to her almost all of her life and she decided to leave for Vale from her home island off the coast from there. She took a ship and came upon her 'actual' home and began to now acknowledge she had a sister and that she also attended Beacon, the school she dreamed of attending, and she visited her home in Vale very often. She of course liked her mother more because she found out that she was pushed her into the relationship as it was an arranged marriage after it was found out that her actual husband had died, and her father was extremely supportive of the marriage. She managed to learn how to fight blind using her other heightened senses to defeat her enemies. She began to attend Beacon at a late age, although everyone she knows assumes she's only 19 and doesn't question her about it. Her father has since died and left all of his fortunes to her as a final apology for lying to her, thus morphing it into the already wealthy Kurayami household.

Personality: Asami tends to be over-polite. She uses proper grammar and never curses, as a result from attending the private school. Her personality otherwise is close to her sisters, which would be smart, trustworthy, social, optimistic and she tends to humble herself at times. Unlike her sister she tends to get depressive around the time of her accident with the Deathstalker and doesn't go out in public, but just stays in the house.

Strengths:

-Is very deft with using her hands

-Heightened sense of hearing

-Tends to humble herself getting her into less fights

Weaknesses:

-She is blind

-She is less mobile due to her disability, unless she knows the area extremely well.

-She can be defeated easily if her sense of hearing is disrupted as she can't hear or see anything around her and would have to rely on pure luck with her strikes.

Semblance: Ray's of Hope- Asami creates a medium sized dome of pure light around her. Normally the light would damage her sight, but that obviously can't happen now. How does this happen? Asami disperses her aura into the shape of a dome around her and traps in light rays and powers them directly from the suns rays. She can make openings in her aura and fire small thin beams of the concentrated light at enemies (Basically like a beam of flame dust). This ability depletes her aura and will most likely cause her to faint. ((OOC Note: This semblance is basically like a magnifying glass, such as when you hold it over and ant it fries it. Except the aura dome holds in the light while Asami’s aura protects her physical form from being fried.) The dome can only stay active for about 3 minutes before Asami's aura is depleted.

Weapon Name: Nobore

Primary Function: Nobore's primary function is a long slender cane used to help assist Asami walk. Nobore is colored a jet black with gold accents.

Secondary Function: Nobore has a sharp scythe like blade that slides out from the middle, thus transforming it into a Kama. The Kama is powered by kinetic dust and can be used to slash fiercely at opponents.

Tertiary Function: At the bottom tip of Nobore a small hatch opens releasing flame dust acting as a sort of flamethrower. It can fire about a foot in front and is mainly used as a weapon to keep enemies at a distance rather than have them in close combat.

For starters, there are a bunch of contradictions in the history, especially surrounding her school attendance and learning about her mother. If nothing else the wording is confusing. Likewise, how does an encounter with a deathstalker cost one their eyesight?

One other note about the strengths and weaknesses. This needs to be rewritten to be more concise and clear, as it it it's jumbled and may be confusing.
