Dust on the third day. [Closed]

Varius looks past the corner and notices the huge gathering of SWAT and police officers. "Dammit! What a wasted day." He grabs Umbra and checks its dust levels. "All out of repulsion that just leaves lightning and fire." Varius makes a small grin. "Still can have a lot of fun with that." While still behind the cover, Varius pulls on Umbra's grip and transforms the massive sword into its cannon mode. He prepares the fire dust and moves the cannon out of cover aimed at the squad cars and SWAT vans. He pushes the grip in toward the blade firing the flame dust towards the vehicles. He repeats this twice more, emptying his fire dust reserves and awaits for the coming explosions.

Carolynn narrowed her eyes when Milly carried ICEA like a bat. Not even going to say anything about it, I'll just charge the owner later for theft. she shrugged and started tinkering with her prosthetics without taking them off, in hoped of getting them slightly fixed before she was in the clear.

"Would you listen to me you idiot, grab me by THE HANDLE, there's no use in me being used like this. I thought AI had something to do with Intelligence dammit."

Maria's ears twitched with anger. "Don't you dare talk to me like that, young lady." She snapped, her tone immediately motherly as she followed her, walking quickly to match the robot's long steps until they reached the south side of the factory, Maria lecturing her daughter the entire way there. Just as a voice on a megaphone called out from the north side. "We have airships monitoring the area. Do not attempt to escape or we will open fire." On cue, the hum of three airships flying above them grows to a roar, one flying above the pair at level with the roof of the crumbling building, one above the courtyard and one above Minos and Varius.

Seeing as Minos ran in a straight line, the SWAT easily evade him, rolling out of the way at the last second, and firing once again at the backs of his joints, hoping to make a dent in his defenses. Above, the airship saw his charge, immediately opening fire through a minigun that emerged through the side door, another SWAT officer manning it.

Seeing the fireballs speeding towards them, the officers evacuate, scattering as two squad cars exploded with the four officers inside them, one SWAT van having a nice new black ring on its side as the officers opened fire, 36 guns, 24 of them automatic plus 8 handguns pointing at him and unleashing a torrent of lead

Varius moved back behind the wall trying to escape the barrage of bullets. As he hid he would occasionally be hit by stray piece of concrete knocked off by the constant attack. "Things aren't looking too good." Varius laid Umbra on his lap and checked the dust levels. "Only enough for three shots, damn." Varius stood up ready to take action in case one of the enemies decided to come around the corner and attack him but he was quickly running out of ideas. "Knives don't work, smoke bombs don't work, and barely any dust left. What am I going to do?" Varius began to grow irritated with the state of things and wondered if this was how his life would end.

Their shooting is pointless. Nothing could break my charge.

Suddenly noticing the airship, Minos changes direction towards one of the fallen vehicles. Minos knows that any second now the ship will start firing but wasn't particularly worried of the barrage on himself but on his allies inside, knowing it would hinder their escape. Flaring out his aura he rams into one burnt up swat van and follows with a powered up punch to fling the vehicle towards the airship. Not stopping with one vehicle his charge continues on and he sends the next one flying towards it as well.

Having ignored Maria, her attention turned to the airship, a small growl escaping her as she sends the new information to Imperia, aiming ICEA at one of the thrusters, saying to the AI, "Harpoon followed by explosive rounds " Flashing her system specifics as obvious incentive.

ICEA 'sighed' and adjusted the shot for the rotors, "'Please' wouldn't hurt you know." he said to Milly before loading up the harpoon and beginning to circulate the explosive dust at the barrel.

The police keeping Varius pinned down did just that, guns leveled at the pile of rubble he was hiding behind and down the way he came from, guns trained on Minos as well. They knew he was armed with a sword, something none of them wanted to go near so waiting for Varius to act was their only option. This wouldn't fare too well with Minos' charge though, officers scrambling to get away as the SWAT van flew fifteen feet in the air and landed upside down, too heavy for Minos to fling that far. The squad car on the other hand would fly and bump the airship, causing its minigun to stray and lead a line of bullets across the face of the crumbling building, dropping dust and pebbles all over Varius. Meanwhile, the free airship above the courtyard takes its chance, not using the minigun to avoid friendly fire but a sniper lying inside it and firing three armor piercing rounds directly at Minos' back and back of the head.

Seeing the robot prepare to fire, the airship above moves back, the side door opening and a minigun coming out, manned by a SWAT officer as it sprays bullets down onto them. "MILLY!!!" Maria yelled, pulling the robot down and putting her massive sword in front of them, shaking as she felt bullets hit the metal.

Varius kneeled behind the wall as it continued to be chipped away by the hail of bullets. He tried to find some sort of opening to retaliate but found no end to their attack until he spotted an air ship a small ways off. Varius grinned as he realized it was in range, "You better cause a distraction or something." Varius took hold of Umbra in cannon form and took aim at the air ship. Pulling back the lever he fired his remaining three lightning dust charges at the ship hoping to bring it down.

Minos wasn't content with just having sent a normal squad car at the ship but his attention is quickly brought to several powerful shots at him as he was slowing down. "Damn it. You and your little toys. Why doesn't anyone fight me man to man!" he roars, picking up the pace again to power up his force field but this time makes a quick turn around towards the source of the shot. Realizing that his target was too far for him to attack he decides to aim for the officers pinning down Varius. Flaring out his semblance he gains more force as he starts running for the officers who were focused on Varius, charging at the group like a bowling ball headed for immobile pins while ignoring the sniper fire from afar.

Growling aggressively as her attack is thrown off, it is only through pure luck her finger didn't pull the trigger.  She flicks her forehead with enough force to cause pain, "Hostile would've been terminated if you had not interrupted. My fuel reserves are running low. And you decide to be a nuisance, hostile is being removed. Then we are leaving. Carolynn is coming with us to face judgement. Objective is complete, Imperia is on her way with a combat force to relieve us. Stop ****ing around, whelp." Waiting for the amount of rounds to lower just enough to move, she sprints and immediately blocks the round heading towards her head with her spare arm, her covering being ripped to shreds as she is lit up by the minigun. Growling still, she manages to level ICEA on the thruster of the airship, firing the harpoon into it before subsequently lighting up the cockpit with the explosive rounds, the airship starting to fall towards the building. The effort and damage causing her to collapse onto her back.

Lighting struck the airship with a deafening crack, one of iits engines bursting into flames, sending the aircraft into a downwards spiral. The pilots worked furiously, wrestling against the spin as warning sirens buzzed around them. Giving up, the bay doors on its side open as they jump out, four parachutes appearing in the sky directly above the courtyard. The commotion attracts the attention of the officers pinning him down, their heads all craned upwards as they scramble out of the way as the airship falls towards the pavement in front of the factory... and right on top of Minos. Meanwhile, the airship sniper continues its barrage of bulletes, firing every split second even as his target is about to be crushed.

"Don't you dare talk to me like that, young lady!" Maria lectured, ignoring the pain on her forehead. Her face turns into one of terror though as the robot runs into the line of fire. "MILLY!!!!" She yelled as she watched in horror, still hiding behind her sword, knowing that she couldn't shrug off bullets like her daughter. As the cockpit of the airship erupts, Maria does not hesitate to run to Milly's side, throwing her sword onto her back as she pulled the robot into her arms. "Milly you idiot! That wasn't necessary!" She yelled, as if it would revive the robot. Above her though, the airship begins to crash, slamming into the side of the building and raining dust and debris, some as large as large as cars, onto the three.

Caught in a particularly bad moment of fixing her legs, Carolynn tried to push herself away from the falling debris, but failed spectacularly as her right leg burst into parts the moment it was stepped on. She gave one horrified glance towards the other pair and opened her mouth to scream for help before a piece of rock hit her on the head and knocked her out. What followed was a sequence of much heavier debris falling on top of her body in a nasty arrangement.

Being caught up in the moment, Minos doesn't notice nor does he care about the incoming airship or the sniper fire as it crashes on top of him as he was running towards the now distracted officers. At the last second Minos notices a large shadow overcoming him before feeling massive force against him causing him to flare out his semblance even more and pick up speed to maintain it, making an even more powerful than before as he continued his charge. On the outside the ship seemingly swallowed Minos as it crashed down in a ball of flames, scorching and crushing everything nearby as it touched the ground obliterating anything nearby with it's inferno. As the flames picked up and the smoke started fuming out a large figure bursts out of the metal oven unharmed but steaming all around as it ripped a hole in the ships hull just by running through it.

"What did I tell ya fools?! No once can stop my charge!" Minos roared as he closed in on the officers who were seemingly still surprised by the whole event.

Varius covered his ears as the deafening blast from the airship made its way towards him. The ship managed to make an excellent distraction and Varius prepared to run when he noticed another ship directly above him. "Dammit all. I try to run and that thing will have a clear shot." Varius grinned and pointed Umbra directly above himself toward the ship. "If it worked once it'll work again." Varius took hold of his weapon's handle and prepared to run knowing the ship had a chance to land directly on him. Taking a deep breath, Varius mentally and physically prepared himself. He took careful aim and pushed the handle in, firing the lightning dust toward the ship. However Varius did not bother to see if the attack had made contact as he was already running in the opposite direction of the courtyard in order to make his escape.

Not responding, she just watches the rubble, her systems rebooting and disabling anything considered unneeded. As she does so, she quickly moves the pair out of the way of some of the debris, waiting for it all to fall before scanning for Carolynn so they could get out, seeing her fading Thermals underneath a small pile. Eyes widening despite it having no effect other than her lens zooming in. Running over to the rubble, she moves crutchshot to the side, removing the rubble until she can pick up the broken cadaver, detecting for any life signs before turning to Maria with a death-glare, not saying anything as she picks up the discarded weapon and putting it on top of the carried body, unable to tell anyone as one of the systems she shut down was her voice box.

Officers, despite their scrambling at the ship's crash, run away from Minos and outmaneuver his mostly straight and predictable path of travel. As Minos passes each one, they level their guns and fire, every officer now firing at the bull faunus whenever they got a chance. Around them, all but two squad cars smoldered with heavy black smoke rising it columns into the air as the officers avoided using them as cover due to the heat and risk of explosion, leaving them without cover.

The ship sniper fired his last six shot at Minos' head in quick succession before the ship shook violently, a clap of thunder deafening him as sparks began to fly from the pilot's console. The ship immediately began to fall as both engines failed simultaneously, causing it to drop straight downwards. Unhooking himself from the harness that held him to the ship, the sniper shoulders his weapon, jumping from the airship to the crumbling roof and rolling to his knees before it crashed into the ground below him. Wondering where that blast came from, he leans over the edge, his view slightly obscure by smoke billowing from the ship and spots Varius running towards the back of the complex, the sniper immediately breaking into a sprint on what remained of the roof, following the fleeing faunus.

Maria feels a sigh of relief as Milly gets back up, watching her as she ran towards the rubble behind them. What's she doi- She thought, cut off by her sudden gasp as Milly pulled out Carolynn's body. "Carol!" She yelled, running to Milly's side and checking on her forgotten teammate. Seeing her, Maria immediately knew that Milly was carrying a corpse. Cursing herself for forgetting about her in favor of Milly, Maria takes the crutch shot and leaves Carolynn's body to the robot. "We have to get out. Now. This is getting too bad." She yelled to Milly over the roar of gunfire coming from the courtyard, the dull hum of more airships approaching from the distance. "Varius! Minos! Can you hear me?" Maria said into her scroll, hoping the two had ear pieces. "We have to go. Now. Make your way to the rear of the complex. We'll have some kind of cover in the trees so we can get back to the truck." Hoping they got the message, Maria pockets her scroll and holds onto Milly's shoulder, pulling her along as she leveled the crutchshot in case anyone appeared.

Varius continues his sprint when his scroll beeps, after listening to Maria's instructions Varius clicks his tongue but follows them anyway. Fine, its not like I had a plan anyway. Deciding to put as much distance between himself and the police, Varius picks up speed and heads in the direction Maria recommended. As he runs Varius decides to look back to see how far he is from the police when he notices the sniper had been chasing him the entire time. "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE $#^%&*@ WITH ME! HOW DID THAT NOT KILL YOU!!"

"You little shits! Hold still for once!" Minos roared as he missed his targets and halted his charge, taking care not to lower down his semblance or his guard despite the petty effect of the weapons on his armor. As he turned around he was met with a hail of bullets pelting him from multiple angles but with both Rho Aius and his semblance up they were but pebbles being thrown at a wall. Despite his protection Minos couldn't help but get pissed off at the continuous clanging sound caused by the onslaught of bullets hitting him, leaving an annoying ringing sound in his ears. Deciding to close in on them Minos picks up the pace and dashes for the nearest Police officer who was carefully avoiding getting too near to the smoldering wreck that was once a squad car. Minos then does a high powered revolving kick in the officers' direction attempting to crush him in one hit. If he misses he would hit the squad car and possibly cause another explosion big enough to take out some of the police surrounding him.
