Appearance:
Her armor ( minus the cape...thing) Artemis has long black hair flowing down to just under her shoulder blades with soft pale skin with no blemishes whatsoever. Her eyes are a soft light blue and stands at 5’6” with a rather muscular but slim build (AKA: assassin build). She is rather lacking in terms of breasts (this does not bother her considering it is ideal for an assassin). Artemis has two black cat ears that poke out of her black hair and are very sensitive to sound along with . She is hardly ever seen not wearing Her armor unless she is sleeping or in a situation where she is not able to wear it. The hood and face mask hide most of her face except her eyes.
History: Artemis was a caring and loving sister for her younger brother Zwei whom at the time was aspiring to be a huntsman like his older sister was going to be (not like he would ever admit it to anyone else but her though). The only thing that gave her any relaxation was practicing throwing knifes as she did this several hours a day almost every day of her life. That was until her brother came home with many cuts along his face. She cared about her brother too much to allow the Drunkard to live and after hearing that Zwei had taken his revenge on the man she left to meet with this man. She forced the man into running for mayor (and he won) so that she could keep an eyes on him easily after shooting one of his ears off from the rooftop with her trusty rifle She spent the rest of her time at home perfecting her throwing skills until she had pinpoint accuracy and stealth skills until she could move and blend with the crowd or sneak in the night without making a sound while attracting no attention. She sharpened her senses to their peak and trained her body until she was satisfied. When she finally left for Beacon she managed to forge her weapons and armor with the help of Zwei who was rather handy around the forge at the time. Her classes went well getting rather high grades all into her third year at the school. When she arrived into her third year she was beginning to have her doubts about Beacon and transferred to Olympus a private combat school. Although during her two years at Beacon she did find a decent way to earn Lien. Artemis became a professional assassin and bounty hunter on the side of being a student and kept her skills sharp (and her wallet full) by doing nearly any job that she could get her hands on. When she transferred to Olympus she was named team leader after quickly becoming friends with her teammates. Although she did keep the assassin job she keeps it a secret from her friends because she is afraid to be called a “Cold blooded killer” and be lumped with the drunkard who slashed her brother. She has now resorted to hiding her face behind a mask like her brother has and hiding her feelings behind piercing eyes. Despite being a year older than her teammates she never treats them like children and respects them all equally. Her being a faunus and her brother not comes from her being an adopted child (neither knows about this).
Personality: Artemis has a very serious personality and will often act distant and say it how it is. She is very serious about training to be your best and hardly jokes around. All the years as an assassin haven't made her heartless though as she is still very caring for her friends and in truth is a very sweet girl. She will defend her friends to the death no matter the circumstances (although she may jump the gun a little when defending her friends and create a combat scene where it could be avoided). Artemis can be very hotheaded at times if she runs out of witty remarks or comebacks to say...or if she manages to get flustered. She only allows the people closest to her to see her face without her face mask on also.
Strength: Artemis is a very agile fighter being able to take aim with Karpos while on the move or perform complex acrobatics. Artemis’s other greatest strength is her speed being able to flank slower opponents with ease and being able to outrun most people.
Weakness: Artemis isn't the most durable of fighters as her armor only provides protection from lighter attacks and can be taken down easier than most people. Her physical strength is also below average compared to the standard.
Semblance: Shroud : Artemis is able to turn nigh invisible by making herself slowly fade until all that is left is a small visual distortion where she is standing. This effect is heightened in the dark being that it the distortion will be harder to see (unless you are faunus) and at a distance. The shroud can last up to 5 minutes before needing to recharge and the recharge time is double of time she used it (Used 2 and a half minutes minutes recharges 5 minutes but the maximum amount of time she can use it remains at 5 minutes).
Weapon
Name: Psychi
Primary:
A dagger that is used for close combat when all else fails. A small hatch located in the bottom of the grip can be loaded with electric dust if the opponent needs to be taken alive or to provide a much needed edge against tougher opponents. Other than this the blade hold no special features.
History: Found on her first assassination target. This is the weapon he wielded when he died by Artemis’ hand. She carries the blade as a reminder of the horrible things she has done and how many more of those things she will have to do within her lifetime.
Name: Karpos and Taro
Primary: Two Wrist mounted guns each being slightly different with how they shoot. Both are built directly into her armor. The guns are built in rather well so they only appear as smooth metal lumps on the armor until they are used. Karpos is the gun mounted on her right arm and has a telescopic barrel and a retractable scope so it can function as a DMR this isn't needed to be able to fire though and can function as a short range pistol. Karpos has a clip size of 5 rounds and cannot fire dust ammo. Taro is the weapon mounted on her left arm and is usually loaded with 2 poisonous darts. The darts are usually dipped in a small paralysis poison to make it difficult ( but not impossible to move) but can be dipped in hallucinogen if she feels it will be needed (or she needs a good laugh). The firing of Taros is completely silent so it is a perfect weapon for stealth. Some of the darts have been outfitted with a small smoke grenade to create plumes of smoke on contact.
History: Forged with the help of her brother,Zwei who also helped forge the armor that the two were mounted to. She has continued to use these two weapons and holds them very close to her as a reminder of her dear brother.
