Appearance: Rina is a very petite girl – small enough that she could easily be mistaken for someone around half her age at a glance. She has shoulder length, brown hair, and reddish eyes. On top of her head are two fluffy cat ears, and she makes no attempt to hide them. She also has a medium length tail, but she usually keeps it hidden under her clothing.

As for clothing, she prefers to wear skirts, and often wears a red ribbon somewhere (Usually in her hair), but has no other particular prefernces.

History: Rina lived her entire life in an orphanage, having been placed there when she was born. She knew nothing about her parents or family for her entire life, except that they were Faunus, like her. Luckily, the orphanage was comprised mostly of her own kind, and so she wasn't bullied and mistreated as much as she would be in a normal orphanage. Despite this, though, she was still bullied, partly due to her tendency to get distracted easily, and partly because of her small size and meek demeanour. Of course, getting constantly belittled and abused certainly didn't help her self confidence, nor her cowardice.

As a result, she grew up, constantly in fear and afraid, feeling like she had no worth to the world. The only times she could feel 'better' were when she was completely distracted, and unable to make coherent thoughts, or at times, remember who she was. Whenever she tried to enter this state to relax, however, the other children would use it as a chance to mess with her even more, and so even her only sanctuary was rendered unsafe. It was due to this tendency of hers that the other children gave her the nickname, "Kitty", and finding that she actually liked it (And it had kind of stuck), she decided to use it as her last name, due to never finding out what her actual last name was.

She did have one friend, though – an adult, actually, although Rina had no idea who he was or what his interest was in her. The adult would make several visits to the orphanage a week, preventing the other kids from bullying her during that time, and also, as she got older, teaching her about the world – how to read, write and most importantly, fight. As she got older, despite the man's lessons teaching her more about fighting, the bullying didn't slow. She simply didn't have the courage to stand up against her tormentors, despite the fact that she could easily kill them all if she wanted to.

On her sixteenth birthday, her benefactor felt that she was old and skilled enough to begin attending combat school, and surprisingly, he managed to get her into Beacon, believing that she had the skills necessary, despite not having attended any previous combat schools. Although reluctant at first, she was eventually persuaded into agreeing, and off she went, away from the hell of the orphanage, to a new, unknown world.

Personality: Rina is extremely shy to strangers, often finding herself unable to speak in a tone louder than a whisper, and never more than several words at a time to complete strangers. As she warms up though, she becomes much less shy, and a lot more playful, enough so that she completely forgets about her shyness. She is very kind in general, although sometimes it can be difficult to tell when she's being nice, such is her shyness.

She is very easily distracted, however, and very easily manipulated or simply led along. If properly distracted, she can be made to do almost anything, from chasing a torch light, to walking off a building. She can be very easily manipulated with intimidation – she is usually extremely cowardly, and despite training to be a huntress, finds it difficult to bring up the courage to fight at all.

Due to looking extremely young, Rina is used to being treated like a child, but does not like it when she is mistaken for one.

Strength: Highly agile and stealthy. Friendly to others.

Weakness: Very low self-confidence, highly cowardly, extremely shy, very easily distracted and manipulated.

Semblance: Rina's Semblance allows her to use her aura to cloak herself in a light-refracting cloak. She can either use a smaller amount as a sort of camouflage cloak, working only when she stands still, and with the possibility of being detected by someone with good perception, but also using a smaller amount of aura, or she can use a full invisibility cloak, making her invisible with only a very slight shimmer in the air, but using a lot more aura. When using the invisibility cloak, she can only maintain it for a maximum of 5 minutes, which would exhaust her entire aura supply. She can keep up the camouflage cloak for hours at a time, however.

WEAPON

Name: Tiger's Claws

Primary Form: Tiger's Claws are a pair of retractable metal claws, with one thin, sharp blade for each finger. When retracted, it merely appears to be a simple pair of gloves. When extending the claws out, they extend with enough force to punch through most clothing and skin with ease.

Secondary Form: The metal claws of the gloves can be quickly converted to a pair of small, wrist mounted crossbows, effective at close range. At point blank range, they can punch through armour with ease, and although their effectiveness against armour falls off at medium range, they still have extreme accuracy and are deadly against unarmoured targets.

History: Tiger's Claws were given to Rina by her mysterious benefactor, and he never told her the origin of the weapon. She likes to believe they were artifacts of a mighty Faunus champion who vanquished evil wherever he went, but she has no idea what the true origin of the weapon is.
