Name: Lycus "Beekeeper" Montag

Appearance: Lycus stands at 5'10 and is mildly muscular underneath his suit. Across his left cheek is a burn mark from when he had burned himself as a kid. He has buzzed brown hair and hazel eyes and a slightly dirty face. He wears a brown armored suit almost everywhere. when he isn't wearing that he usually wears a casual shirt and jeans.

Personality: He is curious about almost everything but he knows when to back off of something too dangerous. That being said he will jump in to help his friends whenever possible. Despite these things he is smug and overconfident when dealing with Grimm.

History: Since a young age Lycus was fascinated with combining different kinds of weapons together, from assault rifles and swords to shotguns and axes. He found his real calling once he was accepted into Signal. He took three courses of the Advanced Weapon Design classes and aced all three. At the end of his time at Signal he, like many of the graduating students, sent an application to Beacon academy, hoping he could learn more about Weapons and how to use them efficiently to fight off the Grimm.

Strength: Lycus's suit is made of a combination of ballistics and Kevlar, making it a an all around protective suit; water proof, high heat resistance, and slight protective against ballistics. Excellent at modifying weapons.

Weakness: Lycus's armor has a very low breaking point and must be constantly maintained after battle. The weight of the armor also significantly impacts his speed and his ability to dodge. He also lacks any protective headgear.

Semblance: Succensus - Lycus's aura increases the very temperature of his body and the air around him. The increased temperature in the air around him and from his body cause the his body become more resistant to blows and less dense, allowing him to move at greater speeds, others around Lycus do feel the heat however it is at most irritating for most, those that are withing touching distance may be burned from the temperature. This also creates a pendulum effect if he were to use it for extended periods of time. The heat coming from outside of the armor to from the inside and back to the outside again causing his body temperature to keep rising and rising until he eventually causes internal injuries, however that is is only if he were to use it for a very long period of time, up to about an hour of constant use; depending on the amount of physical movement that time could be longer or shorter..

WEAPON

Name: Ozymandias

Appearance: The weapon that is being held in the appearance picture. A custom made weapon based of the principles of a flamethrower. It has three slots in total, two on the top and one on the bottom, for dust canisters. There can be several combinations of dust in the slots, two of the same type of dust and one different, all different types, and all the same type.

Primary Form: When loaded and the trigger is pulled it shoots out dust up to a range of 20 meters 9 to coat the enemy in a fine layer of dust after which Lycus can press the secondary button with his thumb, launching a flare out of the bottom tube and combusting the dust. The effects can very from dust:
Flame dust - Generic firey explosion
Ice dust - Explosion of intense cold, can possibly freeze objects or parts of bodies though very unlikely
Shock dust - Large jolt of electricity

Secondary Weapon: In his right boot Lycus keeps a handgun with flame dust bullets loaded

Third Weapon: In his left boot Lycus keeps a 7" Bowie knife with brass knuckles on the grip.

Would others around Lycus feel the heat created by his semblance?

So from the sound of your weapon you have to coat them in the dust and then hit them with a flare to cause to dust to activate, correct?
