Appearance: Matt's has brown hair, about down to his ears, and deep blue eyes. He has a scar on his left temple. He is 5' 11', and 160 lbs. He is half-faunus, so his only physical faunus characteristic is a 4-inch long brown wolf tail that he keeps hidden in his pants. When not wearing his school uniform, he wears a white undershirt with an unbuttoned black button down. His pants are all black. He wears a necklace with his symbol on it.
Personality: Matt is friendly to everyone he meets, except his enemies. He has a playful attitude, but when it comes to school or battles, he is all serious. He tends to act like a wolf frequently due to him being half-faunus and being partly raised by them when he was young. He adopted many traits from the wolves, like how to work in a group, and how to survive in the wild. He hides the fact that he is part faunus because of the hate and prejudice his mother has received when she was young. He is protective and caring of his friends, and will do anything for them. He wants to do the best he can in school, and thinks it is very important. He is a natural leader, and people listen to him. He wants to be the best, but wants to get there fairly, without cheating or dirty tactics.
History: Matt grew up in a house near the forest, because his parents wanted to escape the hate that his mom endured because she was a faunus. He learned from an early age that not everyone thought that faunuses were equal to humans. He decided he would keep it a secret to protect himself from prejudice. He spent a lot of his free time in the forest, where he met and befriended a pack of wolves. The wolves trusted him, and taught him their ways, like learning how to live in a pack, or living in the wild. But most importantly, they taught him how to be a leader. After his father got a promotion and enough money, he moved away, but he never forgot about his friends in the forest.
As he was growing up his father taught him how to fight. He worked for many years with his father, until he could learn no more from him, and went away to Signal. As his parting gift, his father gave him two short swords, which had been passed down from generation to generation. After living and learning at Signal, Matt has finally been accepted in Beacon.
Strength: His smaller size grants him greater speed than those bigger than him. He can move and strike very fast. His faunus blood gives him improved senses.
Weakness: Unfortunately, his smaller size also makes him not as strong as others. He cannot take as much damage as others, and his strength is also lacking.
Weapon:Name: Blazing Suns
Primary Form: Two short swords that are kept in sheaths on the legs. They are used for close-quarters combat. They have his symbol on their blades.
Secondary Form: The blades sink into the hilt and a semi-automatic pistol comes back out. Ammo is loaded into the bottom of the hilt. There is a hole on the back of the gun that vials of dust are fed into, that alter the bullets to take on the elemental property of the dust.
History: The swords were originally a gift from his father that was passed down to him. Matt took it a step further by upgrading them at Signal. He added the gun and dust capabilities himself.
