Name: Jun Sapphire

Appearance:  Jun is about 6' 2" tall, with a very wiry build. He is 150 lbs. He has dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He usually wears shorts and a t-shirt, but changes his outfit depending on the weather. His only armor is on his wrists, for blocking blows.

Personality: Jun has always been optimistic about the world, but usually travels alone. He doesn't mind companions, but takes a while to get used to them. Once he has grown to trust someone, he is very loyal to them, and will do whatever he can to help them.

History: Jun has been in martial arts since he was 5. In school, he was O.K. at all subjects, but really excelled at chemistry and engineering. He participated in the cross-country team, and soon found he is really good at running long distances. He has started to become an excellent aeronautical engineer, and has designed many airships, along with his staff.

Strengths: Very fast (over long distances) and maneuverable, but strong for his speed. An expert in hand-to-hand fighting and staff fighting.

Weakness: Not very durable, along with a lack of ranged ability. Not a very good sprinter. Just started to learn about aura. Very hard for him to damage armored opponents.

WEAPON

Name: Ventus Anima

Primary Form: A metallic, nearly unbreakable quarterstaff made of an alloy Jun invented himself.

Secondary Form/Function: The Ventus Anima has the ability to turn into a glider capable of short bursts of powered flight. While not in use, it stores up energy from atmospheric pressure for use later. It has a gliding ratio of about 30:1, and can release stored energy to go into powered flight for about 1-2 min at a time.

History: The Ventus Anima is the first ever device of it's type, both in concept and construction. Jun created the first prototype when he was 17, and has been improving it ever since. He guards the secrets of it's construction very carefully, and would destroy it before letting it fall to his enemies.

Well shucks, this is a pretty good post about which I have no complaints. I just have a quick question: Do you and/or your staff use dust? If so, please elaborate a bit. (p.s. I love the Avatar: The last airbender reference with the staff!)

As of now, no. Once we know more about dust, I mad decide it is part of the staff's mechanism. until then, however, no.
