Something in common (Closed)

Fionn was dashing up the street of the city in his normal way, with his normal grin plastered onto his face, as he hunted down his normal cheating husband for an extra five hundred lien or such.
He rounded a corner into an alleyway as his prey ran into the cover of shadow, Fionn grinned and thought to himself "Wrong move", he electrified his blade and stabbed it into the ground as he continued running and turned the force into a pole vault, he proceeded to land on his enemy with all the grace of a dying dolphin as he prepared to knock him out and take him to the drop off site

A chain wrapped around Fionn's foot, the blade on the end just barely missing his ankle as it pulled back hard. A thud could be heard from behind and Sclav landed a few feet behind him. A slight grin grew on the faunus' face as he approached.

"Whoa there, friend, you might need to slow down." Sclav said calmly, the sickle connected to his other chain firmly in his hand. "Why is it people can never just use their words?"

Fionn looked up at the wannabe hero as he stood there looking valiant. "Look man, this is just a job, now i would appreciate it kindly if you were to back off" He said Sclav as he stood there, blade on shoulder, as he realized how the situation looked

"Sorry, I don't really appreciate people bursting through my allies an attempted to beat others." Sclav shrugged, his reptilian eyes locked on Fionn as he slowly approached. "Sure it's nothing you two can't just talk out?"

"Sorry man, he did the crime now hes off to do the time" Fionn said as he stood there preparing for a fight. He sighed, "It's a large bounty and i need to money, it's nothing personal" He said as he pointed the end of his blade at the cowering man infront of him

"Bounty." Sclav repeated with disgust, knowing when he ran from his previous owners one must have been on him for awhile. "Tell me, what would that be for?"

Honestly, nothing would really make it better in Sclav mind. If the man had murdered than what was a life for a life? He stepped a bit closer, prepared to disarm Fionn if necessary.

"Look bub, that's not any of your business" Fionn said as he gave a stern look to the man he had just recently met. "If you leave ill buy you a beer or something, okay?" He said in a slightly mocking way. "God damnit, why wont this guy leave me alone?" Fionn thought as he drummed his fingers on the blades trigger, in anticipation of a fight

"Sorry, but, I don't drink." Sclav said lightheartedly, lowering himself to the ground and baring his razor-like teeth. "I won't just stand by and let you kill a man. Sorry."

"The hell you talking about, i already told you i'm taking him to the drop off site, not killing him, for christs sake take a chill pill man!" Fionn said in an agitated way with his slight Irish accent shining through even though he tried to hide it due to its association with the lower class of Vale as his blade began to illuminate the alleyway with its blue light reaching overcharge

Sclav sighed, stepping closer and looking to Fionn's weapon. "Either way, I don't necessarily approve of bounties. So will you desist, or will this have to get messy?"

"Depends on... wait a minute, where the **** did that guy go?" Fionn said sounding really annoyed. "Okay bub, you crossed a god-damn line there, i needed that money for something and you just seriously screwed me over, if i ever see you interfering with my work again ill kick your ass so far into the ground they will have to pull it out of the poor district!" He yelled at the man as he began to walk away. "God damnit, i feel guilty for saying that" Fionn thought as he got closer to the edge of the alley

Scalv smirked slightly, backing Fionn into the corner and keeping his defenses ready. "Look, I'm sorry that you need money. I can relate. But there has to be a better way of getting it than this."

"Not really, it's pretty much my only profitable skill, considering the way drug dealer looks on a resume" Fionn said to the man with an ironic undertone to his voice. "Oh great now this guy will tell me his sob story" He thought as he stood there still prepared for fight

Sclav shrugged. "I could put slave on mine but I don't think I would get too much out of it. Getting sold as a child doesn't have as many advantages as one would assume." He slowly stood straight, trying to show that he didn't want a fight.

Fionn looked at the man for a second before doing a spin trick with his blade and sheathing it on his back. "Damn man, your parents screw you over too?" He said with his stupid grin still plastered to his face. "My dad left when i was twelve, mum was murdered the same year, came home and saw her singing a red song out of a hole in her throat" He said putting a hand on Sclavs shoulder

Sclav looked a bit uncomfortable at the contact, nodding slightly and blinking at Fionn. "My parents came with me, my brother, and ten other children when I was an infant. They had to trade me into slavery to the man who brought them to Vale under threat of being turned in for illegal immigration." The response sounded planned out.

Fionn looked at the man and smiled. "It's always nice to meet another member of the **** up parents club isn't it?" He said as he sighed. "So what type of horrible trauma do you go through everyday?" Fionn said laughing slightly afterwards about the current situation. "I have crippling alcoholism, infact i'm drunk right now" He said procuring his flask from his coat and doing a flip trick wherein he threw it into the air before taking a sip of his Whiskey

"Hmm... Well I live on the streets and protect the innocent. Hard to not sound like a wannabe superhero." Sclav smiled a bit, watching Fionn with unblinking eyes. "Though, my being sold was completely necessary."

"Sounds more like your parents were just too weak minded to find another way to go about it, but thats just me" Fionn said as he cracked his back. "Maybe thats a rude way to say it though, parents suck is the point i am trying to make here though"
