Appearance: Emilie is about 5’ 7” with platinum blonde hair, worn long, sometimes almost over her eyes. Her eyes are emerald green, and she carries herself well. She stands erect and normally wears a suit. When she goes out to hunt Grimm on the other hand, she puts on more combat capable clothes. This includes an all-white, loose fitting, blouse, with matching gloves and skirt. She also bears her symbol on her sleeve. The interior of the gloves is made of thick leather, which helps her withstand the heat of her blade.
History: Emilie grew up in the city of Vale, working in an area of some disrepute. She often found herself in troublesome situations, and as such grew up fairly street-smart. Unfortunately, it grew to the point that her parents found it difficult to curb her violent tendencies. Trying to channel her energies to more innocuous pursuits proved futile and they eventually settled on trying to focus her into becoming a huntress. This was more than the push she needed. Emilie excelled at almost every aspect of combat, and was invited to apply to Beacon. She is currently attempting to enroll.
Personality: Emilie's personality is very straight and to the point. She is ready, willing, and able to solve any conflict with combat and has trouble communicating otherwise. She is not good with teamwork, and occasionally puts the plan in jeopardy. She is very stubborn and has trouble forgiving wrongs. Nevertheless, she can be trusted to do what she says she will.
Strength: She is quite fast for using such a large weapon, with enough strength to plow it through several feet of stone. For example, she could spin the blade completely around (meaning the bottom 5-6 feet enter the ground) while losing about half of the weapon's speed.
Weakness: In spite of her combat prowess, she is hopeless when it comes to more subtle forms of communication. She is a terrible liar, and her speech is unrefined. She is most definitely not a team player, and will find it difficult to work with her team in combat. She also tends to leaver herself open to attack with her "all offense" personality. Her endurance is also fairly low. Fighting at her top speed and strength will cause her to grow tired quickly. In addition, pushing herself to this limit will cause her to start injuring herself.
Semblance: Emilie has the Semblance of Light. She can manipulate light to suit her needs. This light does not put off any heat, and she has trouble fully utilizing it. This means that, while she can put off brilliant flashes, or make non solid clones, she cannot make herself invisible, nor remove light entirely. This may become an option as she grows in strength.
WEAPONName:Splendor (Brilliant Light)
Primary Form: A 4 foot long rifle. Has 4 clips that stick out from all 4 sides, with the top one doubling as a sight. Fires 50 caliber incendiary rounds.
Secondary Form: An 8 foot long claymore. The core of the blade vibrates at high speed, making it generate incredible heat (about 500 degrees Fahrenheit). She can adjust this to be lower by a dial on the hilt. The guards of the hilt are approximately 1.5 feet a piece, and are ammunition clips. They carry incendiary rounds. The guards are arranged as a cross around the blade. Bullets are fired from the bottom of the grip. The hilt is wrapped in a thick layer of leather. When combined with her gloves, it allows her to grasp the sword without suffering from the heat.
Tertiary Form: She's working on it.
History: Splendor originally belonged to her parents as a rifle only. As she grew, both as a person and a huntress, she began to modify it to reflect her own style. By the time she was ready to apply to beacon, she'd managed to give it a second form, that of the claymore. Somewhat reflecting her personality, she began to add the heat generation and the incendiaries. Emilie is currently working on a third form.
