5'10" (178cm) 155lbs (70kg) with blue eyes and black hair worn in a shoulder length bob. Broad shoulders and compact athletic build. Wears a mandarin collared blue silk sleeveless shirt and black shorts with blue thigh high socks and black combat boots.

Her armor consists of a black leather chest piece with leather bracers and greaves.

Personality: Initially cold and distant towards others Chiu is fiercely loyal and protective of her friends. Coupled with a fierce demeanor and fiery temper as well as a desire to complete every task with perfection it is often falsely assumed Chiu believes herself to be superior to the other students of Beacon Academy.

Haunted by the death of her brother, Chiu pushes herself to live up to his memory as a prodigy. Often needlessly putting herself in danger. Suffers from a self mutilation compulsion, Chiu often cuts her own arms. Hiding the scars under her long sleeves.

History: Hailing from a small village within the Mistral kingdom, Chiu was born the second child of a long line of huntsmen.

Although possessing a natural talent for aura enhanced combat her abilities paled in comparison to her elder brother Ce Fei, the "prodigy child." Ten years ago Chiu was wounded in an attack by several Grimm Ursa while helping her brother train. Unable to outrun the Ursas while carrying Chiu, Ce was forced fight off the Grimm until reinforcements could arrive. Although able to protect his sister Ce was fatally wounded and died at the age of 14.

Following Ce's death Chiu trained constantly in order to take his place as an elite huntress. Forsaking her own natural talent and adopting her brother's physical oriented style. Eventually enroling at Sanctum Academy Chiu showed exemplary combat skills, but poor social development and few team skills.

Strength: Excelent speed and agility with good reflexes. Moderate physical strength and stamina. Extensive martial knowledge and skill.

Weakness: Aura abilities limited to a weak shield. Unused to fighting on a team. Desire to prove herself often places her in danger. Deathly afraid of Ursas. In recent years she has taken to alcohol as a coping device. So far able to keep it out of her work, as with any addiction, it is only a matter of time.

Semblance: Soul Shield: Although unable to properly utilize her semblance for nearly a decade, Chiu was once able to manifest a powerful bubble type barrier that could be used to protect herself and others based on how much of her aura was used. Due inability to manifest Soul Shield it is completely useless to her.

WEAPON

Name: Lunar Lotus

Primary Form: Twin butterfly swords with 10" blades and spikes at the end of the hilt.

Secondary Form/Function: .45 caliber pistols folding out from the cross guard with the sword blade running along the top of the slide pointing back at the user.

History: Reforged from the shattered remains of Ce's own weapon Lunar Dragon. Lunar Lotus is an exact duplicate of the Lunar Dragon, sharing all the same specifications of the older blades save for the lotus etched into the blades under the original dragons.

Note: If possible as Chiu develops I plan on revamping her abilities and replacing Lunar Lotus with a more personal weapons.
