   Name: Modus Calan

   Age:18

   Gender:Male human

   Symbol:3 Gears, the largest in the middle, arranged symmetrically.

   Appearance: 5'3",  180 pounds. Large build, black hair, buzz style cut. Clothes consist of black shoes, jeans, and a black t-shirt. His armor: Legs are covered from Sabaton to Poleyn, Arms are from Gauntlet to Paudron. His chest is covered with a Packart. All of the metal is colored a matte black.  

   History: Throughout all of his life, Modus was the target of many who found his height amusing.  Living in Vale all of his life, he knew very well of the legendary Hunters and Huntresses. Modus worked his way through Signal, but dropped out of Beacon; the constant abuse from far taller students eventually broke through the wall of his motivation.  His father kept him strong, he motivated Modus to keep pushing on, even after leaving Beacon. Modus has the typical family; mother, father, sister. He left his family, and lives on his own, still within Vale. He works any job he can find, and often bounty hunts troublesome Grimm, for a good price.

   Personality:Modus has rock hard determination. The constant ridicule of others hardened him mentally. He is tough, physically and mentally. He does have a temper, but can mask it easily with a little time.  Modus wears a poker face often, and is hard to read. He is socially awkward, and has trouble speaking to others when times are tough.

   Strength:Modus, even though short, made up for his height with muscle. A ferocious fighter, he can weild his heavy weapon with ease. Modus can take large amounts of damage, along with the pain that comes with it.

   Weakness:By being bulky, Modus sacrifices agility and speed. He can easily be taken advantage of from above, due to being so short. Using this exploit takes a toll on him, due to the fact that his head is most exposed to attacks from a taller enemy.

   Semblance:Modus uses a jump-based ability that launches him a good 5 feet vertically, or any other direction he chooses. Doing this often, however, can wear him down.  

   WEAPON

   Name:Brutis

   Primary Form:  Large Ball and chain, the handle contains compartments for dust crystalls. When dust is used, all of the effects are through the ball, shaped as an icosahedron. When sheathed, the chain retracts and is kept on his back. The spiked chain itself can be extended anywhere between 1 and 4 feet.

    History: Brutis was made by Modus while at Signal. It reflects him: short chain, but a bulky mass of metal that is his muscle.

There is a two week timer once a character is approved before you can submit another character. As your previous character was approved 2014-01-12, you need to wait until 2014-01-26 before this character can be reviewed.

I would like to see a bit more description on the weapon, but its optional. I suppose its hard to describe a chain in more detail.
