Appearance:

White Hair reaches just a bit past the ears, a bit disheveled. Has sharp turquoise eyes. Height 5'9. Wears a dark blue vest over a white, long-sleeved polo and fashions a black bow tie. He wears black pants and formal looking combat boots. Has his scabbard on left side of his waist along with some added pocket compartments on his belt for small item storage. He has his symbol is tattooed on the back of his right hand. Underneath his shirt he has a long scar that reaches from the area where his heart is, streaking down to his lower right waist. In battle he wears a light plate armor engraved with runes on his chest, arms, and legs.

History:  

Shiroe is from a rather aristocratic family who has ties to many major companies that deal with stuff ranging from land to hunting grimm. Despite being of noble blood he grew up without much parental care and usually just had his butler Dunham attending to his needs. His family was targeted by many enemies and as a result Shiroe had a rather difficult childhood. He was taught to fight at a young age by many tutors but most had difficulty with him because of his rather powerful aura, due to this only Dunham managed to be able to cope with him. Dunham also taught him to cook for himself in preparation for the future. He can cook gourmet meals with ease and likes doing so as a hobby.

In an advanced session of his training, Shiroe had to fight multiple grimm without using his aura for a whole day, he managed to deal with most but one careless mistake almost got him killed. He got a serious injury from it which left a scar running down from the left side of his chest down to his right waist. Even while training Shiroe had excellent grades but not that many friends, he was often shunned by people due to his standing in society and the influence of his family in the region. Shiroe learned to be quite independent but still a bit untrusting of the people around him. Being an excellent fighter and student, he managed to get accepted into beacon, where he wants to train to become the best he can be.

Personality:

Kind and polite to people he knows. Shiroe was taught to be a gentleman in every aspect, especially to women. Although he can get along quite easily with people, he lacks trust in them because he's always been left out as a child and is never sure how they really feel. He can be quite serious at times, especially in battle and he'll often doubt his abilities as a teammate. Shiroe can be quiet at times, but he knows how to keep a conversation going if necessary.

Strength:  

Being a Sabre wielder, he can attack with quick, calculated movements, often preferring to launch multiple light attacks instead of one heavy attack. His speed can be compared to even the fastest fighters, he also has good reflexes and reaction time. His runes can be used to strengthen his attacks both physically and magically(A.k.a dust powered elemental attacks). He can attack using runes by touching an object and placing a rune on it with his semblance which can increase the power of it or even traps which can be activated by his semblance when needed.

Weakness:
When in battle he is lightly armored and can be injured if attacked with a heavy blow. Despite being fast his normal physical strength may not be able to defend against heavy attacks. His runes need him to come in contact with an object in order for it to be placed and they cannot be placed in midair. He cannot cast long range runes or attacks in general and often prefers to to close in on his enemies using his speed or with distractions and well placed traps. It takes time to place his runes which could leave him vulnerable for a small period of time. Using runes too much can weaken him and make him vulnerable to attacks.

Semblance:
Shiroe can cast runes by contact with the object of interest. He can do so by touching the object and channeling his aura to the spot of interest. He can also place runes and activate them at a later time even at a distance, this include placing runes on simple objects such as rocks and throwing them as if bombs. He has several different types of runes, the runes can be used to enhance the effects of normal attacks and also dust powered abilities. He can only cast up to 15 runes max at any instant of time due to his current condition so he can't have infinite runes at the ready to trap an enemy. Attacking a rune can cause it to activate prematurely. Shiroe usually releases dust on an object and placing a rune to use the dusts properties and magnify them, he can do this with his Sabre or even by throwing dust on it himself. He can even place the runes on himself but doing so can be dangerous at times. It takes Shiroe 10 seconds before he can cast another rune so he usually prepares ahead of time or minimizes use. He can deactivate a rune to make a new one in it's place.

Rune abilities:

AOE effects have a max radius around 10 feet

Rune of fire: By placing a rune on an object with dust he can make inferno's and explosions when he activates it. Max area is around a 10 foot radius. They can be placed side by side to increase the blast radius. Can also be used to set objects on fire such as his sword or a small area.

Rune of ice: Uses "ice" dust to freeze an area or give elemental abilities to objects such as his weapon.

Rune of Lightning: Uses "electrical" dust to cast electrical attacks or enhance his weapon or any object.

Rune of binding: Aura powered rune that binds an enemy and renders them immobile. Lasts for about 15 seconds or if the target is strong enough to break free.

Rune of Force: Aura powered rune that can increase the strength of an attack or even movement such as a jump.

Rune of Light: Aura powered rune that emits a bright light, can be placed on objects and lasts 10 minutes or until deactivated.

Rune of Protection: Aura powered rune that gives a temporary shield on the object or area it's placed on. Lasts 20 seconds max.

Rune of Healing: Aura powered rune that can heal individuals within it's radius (10 feet) over time. Lasts 1 minute max.

WEAPON

Name: Ryujiin

Primary Form:
A 1 meter white Sabre. It has multiple Runes engraved on it to allow quick casting for Shiroe. Has multiple dust release holes across the length of the weapon with several dust compartments in the handle with can be quickly released and accessed with two triggers on the handle. one for changing compartments, one for releasing dust.

History:

The sword is a memento and relic passed down generation to generation. Several adaptations were added with the increase of technology but it keeps it's simple design and the runes engraved on it by the wielders of it.
