Appearance: Musa, a mouse faunus, stands at a minuscule 4' 1", weighing about 69 lbs. Musa is albino, her irises are light pink and her skin is very pale. Her features are small and young, giving her the appearance of a young girl. Musa is built very light and thin like a runner, most of her weight is in her lean legs. She has white, shoulder length hair, kept out of her face with a black hair clip; two small mouse ears poke through the on the top of her head. Musa is mostly seen wearing long white pants with a hole cut for her tail, a white jacket, light pink sneakers, and a light blue scarf wrapped around her neck; sometimes Musa hides behind her scarf.
Personality: Timid and meek, Musa becomes nervous and scared easily. She is shy around strangers and seldom speaks unless necessary or on a rush. Musa has a severe fear of doctors, needles, and hospitals. Even amongst those she considers friends, Musa has trouble speaking up or standing up for herself. Musa never likes to talk about her history, going as far as physically avoiding conflict or confrontation. When she is on a rush however, Musa's personality shifts to being energetic, taunting, and cocky.
History: When Musa was born, she was almost immediately abandoned. When she was found, she was starved, dehydrated and covered in filth. Her savior was Matthew Algernon, an aged and retired huntsman, took her in as his own daughter, naming her and nursing her back to health. Musa was raised under his loving care, trained to hunt by him, and taught everything she knew from him. Her life was torn apart one day, Matthew fell deathly ill from his age, and eventually died of complications. Musa, still too young to care for herself, was sent to an orphanage for other faunus like her. The orphanage was merely a cover, however. Behind the scenes were "scientists" performing ghastly experiments on the children. Musa was subjected to a large number of the procedures, managing to survive where so many other children had perished. Musa was implanted with a vast array of implants in her muscles an nervous system, severely warping her aura and giving her the semblance she now uses, as well as an addiction to it. By the time Musa escaped, she was left with her body covered in surgery scars and her aura severely warped and modified. Musa ran away, both physically and mentally, convinced she could resume her life from where she left off. Her name was most of the reason she was accepted into Beacon, though she faked her transcripts from previous schools to give her a better chance at being accepted and following in her foster father's footsteps.
Semblance: "Rush" With physical activity, usually running, Musa's aura feeds her muscles energy as she moves. Her muscle's speed increases exponentially, meaning that the longer she runs or fights, the faster she becomes and the faster she will become. This effect means that rather than growing tired with activity, Musa only craves more. She has no top speed, but the faster she goes, the more risk is present. For instance, while the speed of her muscles increases, their strength decreases; eventually, she becomes unable to do any damage whatsoever. The rush also has the effect of causing her to become more out of reality, eventually she will begin hallucinating, forget her objective in favor of more activity, or even lose consciousness. The only way for Musa to get out of a rush is by either stopping herself before too deep, being physically kept from moving, or passing out.
Strengths: Obviously, her incredible speed is Musa's most glaring strength, but her endurance is equally impressive; as Musa is fed energy from physical activity, she can run or fight virtually indefinitely. Musa may not be strong, but her stature makes her hard to hit.
Weaknesses: As her speed increases, Musa's strikes grow weaker and her rational thought capacity decrease, proportional to her speed. Musa wears no armor, as well as lacking heavy muscle, she does not take damage well. Musa's eyes and skin are vulnerable to light; bright lights, fire, etc may cause her to recoil.

Weapon name: Black thorn
Primary form: Black thorn is a short, curved black dagger. The hilt is tipped with a sharp point that can be loaded with a debilitating poison. The poison is not lethal, merely paralyzing. Musa may use this effect on herself to stop herself when on a rush.
Secondary form: Black Thorn is capable of folding in on itself, into the hilt to be stored safely. In this form, Black thorn is stored in Musa's pants pocket.
History: Black Thorn was originally Matthew's weapon of choice, though he used a lethal poison. When Matthew passed away and Musa was taken from her home, Musa smuggled the knife with her, eventually using it to escape from the secret labs.
