Every Rose has its Thorns

"Something around that field of work, yes. Thorn tries to look at Kyri without blushing. (It obviously didn't work)" Is it hot in here or what?" Thorn fans herself with her hand.

Kyri looked to the ceiling wondering if she was sitting under a vent or something, but didn't see anything. She was perfectly fine, but of course she had not had much of her drink, and Thorn could just be feeling that.

"No.. i don't feel anything... Well it's nice to see that others are here to help in different ways! Hey.. do you want to get some fresh air?" she asked as she stood up and offered her hand once more, her tea in her other hand.

"Sure! Where Are we headed?" Thorn stands up with her tea easy for action.

Kyri started to lead her out of the cafe and towards the arena to show her the place where she had a few battles before. She smiled to her as she led the way.

"To the Arena! It's a great place to practice with your weapon and spar against others... you never know what could be going on out in Vale that we might have to take care of one day..."

(OOC: To the arena! AWAAAAYYY)) Thorn looks around at the arena amazed. "Wow this place is amazing!She takes a deep breath enjoying every minute of the fresh air.

Kyri smiled as she looked around the place where she once took on Shem, and caused him to go into Ragnarock before she got him to stop at the end of the fight. She took a second look around and then looked back to Thorn to see her amazement of the arena before her.

"Hey, once you get settled... how about a friendly match?" she spun out Eurus into blade mode and then collapsed it back to resting.

"I'm up for a match anytime!" Thorn says enthusiastically. She can't help but to look at Kyri every once and a while. Stop this... You shouldn't... I know she is straight...

Kyri smiled to her with a great smile as Thorn said she was up for it and she let out her hand once more, hopping she would take it again.

"Okay! Now two places left that I can easily show you around here!" she closed her eyes for a moment and took in the air before opening them.

You are enjoying the company of this straight girl wayyy too much. Get a hold of yourself!

(To the Cliffs!)

Thorn takes Kyri's hand once more. The two walk up to the cliffs to see a sun starting to set on the horizon. "This place is so beautiful. I never thought Beacon would be this good! Good tea, nice scenery, pretty girls." She gasped and turned red.

Kyri was glad the girl took her hand and as they made it to the cliffs it seemed almost perfect. She was listening to what Thorn had to say about beacon and started to get lost in her own thoughts.

Good tea.... these beautiful cliffs..... a really.. "Pretty girls" broke into her thoughts and she looked at the girl who was turning bright red. Kyri stopped for a moment and thought about it for a moment.

did she just.... no she couldn't have... she's just another straight girl right... I just thought that she said pretty girls... she had to have been talking about Shem.. he's a... pretty... guy? She had confused herself for the moment and then just gave a blank smile to Thorn. She snapped out of it a moment later and then looked back at the forest below.

"This place is really great..."

Thorn tries to ignore what she just said" Ya it's amazing... Lucky I got in" She sips her tea a bit. She is still blushing because of what she said. Idiot! Why do you always have to do this to yourself!

Kyri took a sip of her own tea and then looked to Thorn who was blushing brightly still.

"What do you mean? To get in you have to be skilled... so there is not much luck needed right?"

"True. I always think lowly of myself so I didn't really think I would get in." She says while staring off into the sunset.

Kyri nudged Thorn with her shoulder a little as she could tell that she wasn't lying about being down on herself.

"Don't be so rough on yourself. You made it here.... So I'm sure that you will make a great huntress one day! And you couldn't really be here if you weren't a good fighter!"Kyri's tone was cheery and her smile unwavering.

Thorn smiles at Kyri and says" Your right...thanks" She sips at her tea some more and looks at her weapon.

Kyri looks to the girls weapon starting to wonder how the girl fought. She took a quick sip of her tea and then placed it down on the grass.

"What kind of weapon do you have?"

Thorn stands up and takes out Ambrosia. She then zaps a falling leaf with it. She then transforms it into a shotgun and fires a spike bullet at a tree leaving a deep hole in the trunk. "Thats what kind of weapon I have!" She smiles and sheathes Ambrosia

Kyri looks at the weapon that stands before her in awe before taking a step back for Thorn to show it off against a falling leaf. When the weapon transformed her eyes turned to saucers and watched as a spike flew from it. The cold calculating part of her mind quickly put that information away for later when she would eventually battle this newcomer.

"That's Awesome! Do you have a name for it?"

"This is Ambrosia Spike" She looks at her weapon and smiles

Kyri smiled and nodded before touching her weapon and rocking back and forth. She held out her weapon for a moment to thorn.

"This is Eurus." She took it back a moment later and sat on the ground and patted the ground beside her.

Thorn sits down next to Kyri"That is a beautiful weapon..." She finishes off her tea and puts the cup down next to her.

Kyri smiled to Thorn once more and then looked out to the trees below them. She took in a deep breath and leaned back on her hands relaxing. She let out the breath slowly before opening her eyes to the sky.

"I made it at signal a few years ago. It took a couple tries to get it just right... but now... i think it's nearly perfect."

"It looks better than nearly perfect. Uhm... Kyri can I... Ask you a question?"

Kyri closed her eyes once more as she took in the feeling of the wind passing over the two girls. She cocked her head to the side to show she was listening to Thorn.

"Ask me anything Thorn. That's what i'm here for."

Thorn took a deep breath" You better not mess this up. Just ask and get it over with. No harm in asking." She looked at the ground for a minute and asked "do umm you... You know... Uhh like..."

Kyri opened up one eye and looked towards Thorn as she stumbled over her words as she tried to ask her something. She turned over to her side to look more directly to the girl with a smile and a confused look on her face.

"Do i like.... what?"

"Ummm... Do you... L-like g-gir-uhmmmmm... C'mon Thorn... You got this... Just ask and be done with it..." She composes herself and asks" Kyri. Do you... Like...girls...? She closed her eyes ready for whatever criticism came next.
