Symbol:  A serrated circle with a bulls eye in the center.

Appearance:  Dirty blond hair wrapped in a ponytail, blue eyes with a dull light in them, and a black , half buttoned up long-coat with a hood.  Rien stands at 6,2 and weighs 216 LB. He is considerably well built, but not overly distinct. His body posses the wear and tear of a life spent in conflict, and it’s showing, as he has a nasty scar running across his right cheek, and many others across his body. None of them pretty.

Personality:  Rien is, simply put, sarcastic as hell and kind of a jerk. He doesn’t really take things seriously and puts on a cocky front. However, all this is a façade to hide a very tired man. Rien lacks a primal drive, but he’s not about to give up. To him, one job to the next is a good enough reason to keep living. That being said, he does have a slightly childish side, and likes to play with things when he has the chance. Taking things apart being a favorite hobby of his, though he lacks the skill to put them back together.


History: Rien, like so many others, wanted to be a Hunter. The shining beacon of legends called to his bones and blood. He knew what he wanted to do. That was the start, and the end. Growing up, Rien lacked the raw talent of many others, but he was a skilled, pragmatic combatant, and that earned him favor with others, even if they didn't always agree with his methods. There was no denying the fact he could get the job done Along the way, he gained and lost both friends and lovers, though it was the latter more then the former. Soon, he left, for reasons known only to him. Rien became a mercenary, a gun for hire.  Wandering the world, he went from conflict to conflict, fighting for whoever paid him the most. Not caring for who or what reasons he killed for. Soon, fighting became his one and only skill, and now, with his body starting to fail him, Rien wishes to leave the board before some throw of fate does him in.

Strengths: Rien is a very skilled gun for hire, and is proficient with nearly all types of ranged weaponry. Though he favors firearms over melee weapons, he can hold his own in a given fight. He main strength lies in the fact in his ability to plan and think on the spot.  This is aided by his skill in manipulating his eyes with his Aura. He can give himself hawk like vision, night vision nearly on par with a Faunas and last but not least, he can temporally slow down his perception of time. This allows him to view everything in his field of view in slow motion, giving him time to think clearly and calmly, even in hectic situations.

Weakness: Rien’s body, simply put, isn’t what it used to be. His overall stamina has degraded over the years, and he can’t take as many blows as he used to. All in all, he’s past his prime and it’s starting to show. His eyesight is also at risk, as the use of his Aura, particularly slowed time perception, runs the risk of destroying his eyes. That’s not a hyperbole. His long history of conflict has left him somewhat distrustful of others, and while this can be useful in sniffing out deception, he also finds himself looking for lies when they're aren't any.

WEAPON

Name:  Type 800

Primary Form:  A large, almost two-handed pistol with three barrels, two designed to use either shotgun shells, or larger carbine ammunition.  The third barrel can accept standard rifle rounds. Though this does give it only three shots, this does allow for versatility in each shot taken. One could be a shotgun, another a rifle, and the last a carbine.

Secondary Form/Function: Though it has no secondary form, it can use very special (and limited) ammunition hand made by Rien himself. They are Aura injection bullets, in a nutshell, they act as a form of foreign body that, when shot into the opponents body, forces them to either accept the new Aura as part of their own, in which case they receive a power boost, or cause intense pain and death, as their body tires to fight off the new presence.  These bullets are very effective against Grimm, as they basically force the Grimm to destroy their own soulless bodies from the inside out.

The downside to these bullets is the fact they require Rien’s own Aura to be made, and he has a finite amount thanks to them.

History: Type 800 is Rien’s constant complain over the years, though he has come to use other weapons just as well. Rien knows the Type 800 by heart. Every bolt, screw, and inch of it. Which is fitting, as he made the thing in his early years.

If I understand this correctly... he basically just thinks and understands things faster, rather than that actually slowing down time, yeah? Besides that, a little more on how he either found or made Type 800, and maybe a little more in history, but otherwise looks good to me.

Pretty much. Time itself isn't slowed down, so everything is basically moving normally. It's just for him, everything is moving a lot slower, like you might see in a movie where the character is about to die and everything goes into slow motion. And sure, I'll put more into weapon history.
