Nathaniel yawned and looked around. He checked his music player. 5:am. Well, he'd only had a couple of hours sleep, which was a little less than usual, but then he'd probably be able to hibernate on the Airship for a bit as well. That meant he had three hours until he had to be at the station- more than enough time for what he had in mind. He climbed out of the alcove in which he had been sleeping. Thinking about it, there wasn't really any reason why he shouldn't just book a night in a hotel. After all, it wasn't like he lacked the money; far from it. Force of habit he supposed. The first few days he had done it in case anyone recognised him and he had just continued doing so afterwards. Maybe it was because it was so isolated, and he never had to talk to anyone? Picking himself up, he slung his backpack over his shoulder and, Teres-Aris in one hand, walked out of the alley.
Three hours. Three hours in which to imprint this place in his mind, to evaluate safe areas, escape routes, hideouts, places to stash things. He'd need to know everything from short cuts and dead ends to floor plans. Just in case. He'd hoped they couldn't track him here but there was no harm in being prepared. Three hours. Not long, but then he didn't need to do it all in one day. For today, learning his way around and hiding the money would do.
