A Blind Date [Closed]

Pierce walked down the halls of the Beacon dorms, invisible to hide his formal attire, something he wasn't too used to. The black dress shoes and pants, white shirt, matching black suit, and dark green bow tie certainly was different from the normal green hoodie. Still, he wanted to dress the part for his date. Getting to the AYMC dorms, he turns visible before rapping his knuckles against the door, hands shoved in his pockets as he rocked back and forth on his feet and waited for an answer. Don't screw this up Pierce.

A low, "Come in!" Could be heard from inside the dorm. Upon entering one would see Vanille on her bed eating a cupcake and swinging her legs like a little kid. Once Pierce entered she would say, "Fello Fiercie-Famaa!" with her mouth full. Asami would still be I. The bathroom changing. After a few minutes she would emerge wearing her red Cheongsam, matching red heels and a small metal bracelet around her arm. She looked in the general direction of the doorway and said to Pierce, "Hello Pierce, I hope I look good enough." She would say this last statement with a slight girlish giggle.

"Hi Vanilla." Pierce replied as he entered, giving a small wave. Not seeing Asami in the room though, he would content himself with closing the door behind him and leaning against the wall. As the bathroom door opens though, Pierces stands up straight again, eyes as big as dinner plates as he stared at Asami. Holy crap For a few seconds, he stands there utterly speechless before he realizes that he needs to say something. "U-uh yeah! You look great. Amazing!" He replied, happiness very evident in his voice.

Asami gave one of her usual childlike giggles as she said, "I assume your all dressed up too?" She began to make her way over to the door where she assumed Pierce still was. Upon finding him she touched him lightly on the chest feeling a tie. She smiled, a bit surprised he didn't take advantage of her disability and just wear plain old anything. She said, "Well Pierce, you seem to be quite handsome. You clean up nice." She looks towards Vanille saying, "Vanille, be a dear and grab my purse?" Vanille gives a slight nod jumping up off the bed and handing Asami her small red purse after grabbing it from atop the dresser. She nodded to Vanille as a response to her act and said, "Be good' we'll be back soon!" Vanille pouted saying, "When am I ever bad Asami-chan?" She soon lightened up saying, "Have fun you two!" She gave a wink to Pierce after delivering this line.

"Thanks." Pierce replied to the compliment, unable to tear his eyes from the girl in front of him. "You're gorgeous." He added, cheeks turning slightly pink as he realized what he just said. Looping one her arms through his, he leads her to the door once she got her bag. "Don't worry, Vanille. I'll bring her back safe and sound." He said, chuckling lowly at her wink. "Just gonna borrow her for a few hours."

Asami now walked out of the door in arm with Pierce. She smiled and blushed noticing how tight she was actually holding his arm. Vanille gave a final nod and smile of approval as the door shut behind the pair. As the couple walked down the silent Beacon hallways Asami said to break the silence, "So I'm glad you managed to be past the all powerful overseer Vanille." She giggled upon saying this.

"I think she approves of me." Pierce commented as he glanced at Asami's eyes, just as amazingly shiny as the stars above despite their clouded appearance. "Either that or she's showing mercy upon this poor little creature, powerful goddess of ice cream letting the mortal go out with the demigoddess." He said, assuming a tone that was more suited for telling an old legend rather than joking around with a friend. A friend you're currently on a date with....

Asami smiled at the thought of Vanille being a goddess. "Vanille as a goddess may result in the destruction of the world! We wouldn't want that now would we?" As the two were chatting they approached the door to the outside campus. Asami still held on to Pierce not actually knowing where the door was. She would wait for him to be her guide.

"That would be a very cute Armageddon, I'd guess. Pierce mused as they reached the gates. Guiding her through, he looks down the street to find the taxi he'd called earlier patiently waiting a few feet to their left. "Milady, your chariot awaits." He said, guiding her to the car and opening the door for her.

Asami puts her hand on the at feeling her way inside. She finally gets situated and buckles herself in. She says, "Why thank you Pierce, you're such a gentleman." She smiles thinking about what he actually looked like, considering her disability it would be hard to imagine things such as that.

((Timeskip about 20 minutes for the ride there))

As the car came to a halt Asami unbuckled herself and felt around for he door handle. She opened the door slightly waiting for Pierce to guide her. Asami opened her purse and took out a handful of Lien handing it to the driver. She said, "It's in me Pierce, I bet you're going to blow me away with how nice this date is going to be, so I'll pay for the transportation!" She gave one of her genuine smiles while still sitting there.

Pierce reluctantly lets her pay despite his protests and quickly hops out of the taxi. Running over to the other side, he opens Asami's door and guides her out. Giving his arm for her, he guides the girl to the door.

[Location skip up an elevator to 31st floor]

"Table for two. Michellis." He said to the woman standing at the podium. A few moments later, she leads them inside and to a table by a window, a perfect view of Vale down below though Pierce felt bad that he was almost going to mention it. "So. Should I read them out to you?" He asked, holding the menu.

Asami nods to Pierce saying, "Sure, that would help me out a lot." She held her menu making sure to feel it for any Braille writing. She put her menu down feeling around the table for her glass of water that the waiter put down somewhere. She now had a look of discouragement as she couldn't find the glass.

"Well there's beef, pork, chicken, seafood..." Pierce started listing down the categories on the menu before his eyebrow perks up, looking at Asami's hand fly around the table. The only thing the waitress put on the table so far are the napkins, which she has on her lap, and the water glass. He thought, finding the sight strangely cute. "Here." Pierce said, taking her glass and putting it in her hand, Asami's fingers going over his.

Asami blushed as she felt Pierce's fingers cross over hers. She took the glass of water to herlips taking a small sip. She said, "Oh, may I ask what kind of seafood there is?" Asami wondered what kind of fish there would be here, hopefully really good fish as she loved seafood. Asami smiled at the thought of her plate filled with some expensive looking fish. She said, "So Pierce, what's up with you lately, anything exciting?"

"Well, let's see.... There's fish puffs, paella, lobster, flounder rolls, tilapia, a platter of shellfish, grilled shrimps, scallops, sashimi, wow this place has everything." Pierce listed, going down the menu and picking items out at random. "Huh? Oh exciting stuff? Not really, I'd say. Just boring classes as usual. Meeting you's the most exciting thing I've done in a while." He said, his face turning the slightest shade of pink as he chuckled softly. "I heard your sister's getting married soon though. Congrats."

"Oh, the grilled shrimp sounds fantastic. I haven't had seafood in a while now and I've been longing to try it." She had just now remembered about the wedding and how she was planning on inviting Pierce as her well...date. She said, "Oh, that reminds me! I thought I would ask if you want to attend the wedding. There's delicous food and plus you get to be my date." Asami giggled with saying that last line. She then took a sip of her water which she now had in a spot close to her so she could reach it at all times.

"Alright. I'll have the Paella then." Pierce said, softly closing the menu as he called the waiter over with a wave of his hand. Seeing the man start to make his way to their table, he turns back to Asami. "You had me at date." Pierce replied, laughing as he realized that 'date' was the last word in her sentence. "Ok. Maybe not at date exactly but you get the point. Sure, I'd love to."

Asami smiled saying, "Great! I think you'll love it. The cake is supposed to be really good too." Asami picked up her menu which she only opened that once to check if it was in Braille. She put it in the edge of the table ready for the waitress to take when she came. Asami said, "This place is really fancy sounding...the music...the atmosphere...it seems you went all out for me." Asami blushed as she said this last line thinking about how expensive that this place must be.

"Sounds great." Pierce replied, grinning widely. "I'm looking forward to it." As he heard Asami comment on the date, Pierce couldn't resist the urge to laugh softly, unknowingly putting his hand on her's. "Well yeah, of course. Nothing spared for an amazing girl like yo- Oh, hi. We'll have the paella and the grilled shrimp." Pierce started, quickly stopping and diverting his attention to the waiter, his hand flying to the menus to hand them to him as he realized what he was saying. Waiting for the waiter to leave, he gives a few seconds of silence before continuing. "I mean err... yeah. I wanted you to like it." He said, embarrassment obvious in his voice.

Asami giggled putting together 2 and 2 and realizing what Pierce was going to say. She heard Pierce saying what they would be having and she figured the waiter was here. She then commented on his statement saying, "Well I honk you did a pretty fantastic job... I would give you a kiss in the cheek right about now...but with my situation...I don't think it's best to stand up now, unless you guided me." Asami blushed at saying this hoping it wasn't going too far, after all she wanted to give him a good date night considering he did all of this for her. She thought he should at least get some satisfaction in return.

"Thanks." Pierce said at the compliment, happy that she was enjoying herself."I'm glad you like it." Hearing the rest of what she said though, he blushes as well, having some relief when he saw the similar shade of her cheeks. "Oh no no no no. You don't have to. I mean it's not that I wouldn't enjoy it. Anybody'd enjoy getting a kiss from a girl as beautiful as you but if you don't want to that's fine but its not like I don't want you to I just want you to want it wait no that sounded creepy uhhh I'll shut up now." He said, clearly flustered as he took a sip of water, ice making soft tink noises in the glass.

Asami said, "I truly must repay you somehow, I know! I think I'll pay for 'the next date'." Asami smiled as she said the last 3 words of that statement hoping Pierce would react the same way with a smile or a positive reaction. She then heard the waiter approaching. He would have a silver platter consisting of two plates looking to have some sort of fish delicacy on them. Asami looked at Pierce saying, "Can you see the waiter at all?"

"Normally, I wouldn't allow that. Not at all." Pierce replied redfaced, smiling back at her though she couldn't see it. "But if that means that there's another date, I guess I can't refuse." At her request, he turns to find the waiter standing beside their table, food laden tray in hand as he methodically sets the table. With a polite bow, he leaves. "Well, dinner is served. Bon appetit." He said, waiting for her to start before taking a bite of his own.

Asami begins to feel around for her fork as she can now smell her dish in front of her. She moves her hand swiftly around the table but managed to hit her hot plate. She gave a small 'yelp' that would sound extremely cute to the normal person. She began to rub her hand before finally finding her fork. She took a piece of fish and began to nom on it. She said after she finished it, "It would seem that the fish was worth it...why don't you try your's Pierce. She just assumed that he hadn't taken a bite yet as goes the saying, 'ladies first'.

Argent watches curiously, wondering how she eats with her disability. As he sees her hand move toward the hot plate he reaches to grab it but winces when he hears her yelp, though unable to prevent the smile he got from how cute it was. Sighing, he takes her fork and sets it down on the plate, holding her hand as he touched the cool surface of his glass to it. "I can't eat if you're in pain." He said calmly as he slowly rubbed circles on her burn. "I'll eat when this is better."
