RWBY Spin-off Series!

Recently I've been messing around in blender (An animation program) just making random models, doing random animations and generally being bored shitless. So I decided that I needed a commitment, something to do in my spare time. Flicking through some of the half-assed models I had made, I found my model of my character Puniceus and had an awesome idea. I should totally make my own RWBY series! And that is what I've set out to do. This thread is basically me saying "Hey, do you want your character to make a cameo if I can be assed?"

Some additional details about it:
Name(placeholder): MHSK Of The SKRD (Mask Of the Scarred, originally called "Tales Of Beacon")
Average Episode Length: 20-25 minutes. I just hope making them this long won't kill me.
Plot: Not sure yet, probably just follow the thread of the two team oh so cleverly hidden in the title.

Keep in mind this will probably take like 4-5 months for a trailer...soooo, patience?

At the very least you should contact Monty/Rooster Teath about it, if for nothing else to get their blessing in making a "fan creation" of such a high-caliber.

Good luck on your series, maybe you could fit daisy in there somewhere as a cameo.

Wasn't going to do this but I just got an idea:
If the series ever goes into a gun range, or is in need of a bounty hunter cameo, feel free to throw in Spencer however he is needed or wanted. Raven, if you ever need a huntsman. Both have pictures of themselves on the profile posts.

I wouldnt mind having Shem or Muzen in the back ground.

Alright, so we've got Shem Drakur and Muzen Vespidae as background characters, possibly appearing in one of the classes. Spencer Rouge could possibly be hired by Viktor at some point? Daisy Dunkleman's appearance might have to be modified a bit for copyright reasons, but a background cameo at some point would be fine, not to extravagant armor so she'll be easy to model XD

Only if Viktor ends up not being the villian. Bounty hunters are different from assassins or kidnappers. The two sides are the same except bounty hunters are related to police work.

While fitting Kai and Mike in the background in a couple of shots or episodes wouldn't be too hard, putting in their weapons in is a whole other problem and i'm not the guy in charge of the weapons. So, I'm sorry Kai but I don't think Cannonhammer time is coming anytime soon.

Holy crap, that is awesome! Good for you, that's a pretty big accomplishment even though it hasn't necessarily started yet.

If you ever need a conflicted White Fang member, or a feisty avian faunus, you can use Alicia ^^ I'll be doing some concept art of her and her weapon soon, once I find time. Thanks for any consideration!

I might be able to fit in Alicia actually, quite easily in fact. Also, you say it hasn't necessarily started yet, although i'm actually in the early animation stages of the first trailer, so i'll post the link here once that's done. Thanks to every-one for all their support so far!

If you want a hand with Story, plot etc I wouldn't mind lending a hand. I used to write adverts and short movies for a theatre company, so I've had a bit of practice.

if you need any moral character development or want a morally strong (but realistic) person in your story put Ryth in. just if you cannot find it, he is hard but morally upright due to his history. if you cannot see that please tell me so I can change it. (char link in signature
