Family Reunion Part 1

Aeden notices Lucina at a booth with purple dust. "Lucina what are you doing? Wait purple dust? I've never seen that before."

Lucina tosses the crystal in her hand admiring it. She says" yep. I heard you can combine crystals to make new kinds.This must be one of them. According the the salesman it poisons them or makes em drunk? He also says it has a side-effect but I don't know what it is...

Aeden looks at the crystal with concern on his face. "Should you really mess with something you don't know the effects of? Hey old man what are the side effects of this crystal?"

The old man replies" Ahh purple dust in its finest form. It fills your weapon with a poisonous dust capable of inducing a drunken like state. Side effects are your weapon gets heavier and abut harder to swing. Also i you hit yourself... Well you know what happens"

"Well that seems like it could be useful but the sound effects seem annoying and it seems to be double edged." Aeden looks at Lucina. "Do you really want to have a dust like that?"

Lucina says" We'll if it puts us at a close range advantage I think I'd like to have it. Hopefully I don't scratch myself with my own sword while its powered by that crystal though. Come on let's go get some food now."

"Well I think youre capable enough to do it, alright. Yea food does sound good. You said you wanted sandwiches right?"

" hmmm yea sounds good to me. What do you think?" She takes out dem eyes again...

What is with her today. Not that I'm complaining but I can feel my self control slipping. "Umm umm think? Wait huh? Yes! sandwiches sounds great." Aeden walks a head of Lucina. Keep it together man you look like a fool.

Aeden and Lucina approach a booth selling food. Lucina picks up some crunchy looking bread( basically Italian bread) some tomatoes, lettuce and some meat fresh from a cooler. She tells Aeden" you have the money Mr. Drakur have us right?"

"Yup here it is." Aeden pulls the money out and counts it. "Well looks like we have a little extra including what I brought. Lucina is there anything you want to buy while were here?"

Hmm... Lets check out the vendors." She says. As they turn the corner a drunken man spots Lucina walking up to her saying h-hey beaut-beaut-ifu-l wan-na g-get a drink. He smiles at her and reaches for her hand

Aeden grabs the mans hand tightly before he reaches Lucina. Aeden makes a polite smile. "Excuse me, Sir. This is my girlfriend now I suggest you move along before I keep this hand as a souvenir." There is clearly anger in his voice.

Kaitlin is just staring into space while holding a bushel of broccoli.

Clearly frightened by Aeden the drunk stumbles backwards and trips. "Aww whaaatever. Not worth worth ma time anyway." As the drunk stumbles away he trips once more. Aeden turns to Kaitlyn. "Whats wrong Kaitlyn you seem to be spacing out."

It take Kaitlin a few seconds to realize Aeden talked to her.

"Huh? No nothing is wrong..."

Aeden is skeptical. "Really? You were just kind of standing there holding the brocolli" Aeden thinks for a moment. "Is this about Shem's past?"

Lucina says" We'll Aeden your quite defensive aren't you? I like that."

Where the hell did Kaitlyn get broccoli from?

Kaitlin continues to stare into space.

Aeden steps closer to Lucina and whispers to her "What's wrong with Kaitlyn?"

Lucina whispers back" I don't know, and where'd she get that broccoli?"

"Broccoli?" Aeden finally notices whats in Kaitlyn's hands. "I dont know. We didnt buy that and I have the money."

Aeden replies with caution. "Yes thats true he's our friend. Who might you be, Sir?"

Aeden takes a step back and stands between the man and his friends. "Forgive me for being suspicious in our line of work not being suspicious can get you killed. I still didn't catch your name, Sir."
