Saturday, week eleven.

Roy was using his spear to support himself as he limped back into town. His armor was stained with his blood, his left arm hanging uselessly at his side, broken. He would be fine, in time, but limping back into town now was the figure of a tortured, utterly beaten man. His journeyman's Boots were completely drained of dust, and the head of his spear was cracked and in need of reforging.

I shouldn't have tried that on my own....should have waited for help...

He coughed, a thin line of blood trickling from his mouth as he passed Valestars Coffee. Passersby scattered as he limped past, finally falling face first in front of a nondescript pharmacy. Thoughts roiled in his head, but he felt too weak to articulate any of them. He knew he had failed, why had the Cult of the Rudra left him alive? Why had his mother let him live?

More importantly, why was everything spinning?

"R-really...screwed up this time..."

Inside the pharmacy a masked figure eyed several bottles of painkillers and other assorted medications wearing a look of interest under his metal face altough to an outsider it just looked like he was staring at the medication with boredom in his eyes. Then his eyes were drawn to a fallen boy outside the pharmacy "Well, might as well make a new friend" he spoke with a hint of sarcasm in his voice as he jogged out the door to meet the boy in the dirt. Zwei's casual behavior soon gave way to a more concerned one as he tried to prevent a crowd gathering around the boy before speaking "Need an ambulance bro?" he asked, despite his casual tone which he had accidentally kept he was still worried.

Roy manged to get to his feet, his legs shaking underneath him as he steadied himself on his spear.

"No...just help me inside."

He would heal up on his own, he had quite a bit of aura. It would just take a while, was all, because of the multitude of wounds. He barked a short, harsh laugh followed by a cough. Instead of the normal fear that came with being near death's door, a savage anger had welled up within Roy.

"All I need is...basic first aid. I can do that myself with a first aid kit. Splint my arm, bandage the other crap. Although I would ask one more favor. Pull that knife out of my back?"

He could feel it. It wasn't in very deep, just enough to stick there and wobble a little when he moved. He couldn't reach it with hsi right, and his left was broken, so the obvious solution was to get someone else to remove it.

"Inside? I can do that." Zwei positioned himself so that the other boy would be floating most of his weight onto Zwei instead of his weak knees. He carefully carried Roy inside and found a small chair for him to sit on before reaching around the boy's back and grabbing the knife by the handle. "Sorry bro" yanked the knife from Roy's back hoping that he didn't hurt the boy too much before calling out to the crowd "We need a first aid kit! now!". Soon after he kneeled down to the boy's level "Who did this to you? These don't look like wounds from a grimm...unless you put the knife in there yourself"

Roy was grateful to be deposited in the chair, and when a random patron handed him a basic first aid kit, he got to work. He managed to partially splint his arm one handed, as if he'd had to do it before. Protip, he had. Now came the painful part.

"To be quite frank..."

He grunted as he yanked the bone into place with his right, and finished applying the splint.

"My biological mother runs some kind of weird cult and tried to sacrifice me. I escaped, but there's no point in telling the authorities, as they've likely pulled up stakes and moved on by now."

He began to bandage the other cuts he could reach, and with a sharp intake of breath he realized two things. His spearhead was cracked, and his ribs were bruised. He grumbled as he looked at the spearhead. That'd be a pain to fix. He also didn't know how long he'd been gone. Or how many cultists he had killed escaping. It was all a blur in his head, he'd likely been drugged.

"They do capture Creatures of Grimm and set them on small villages from time to time, but no, these wounds aren't from a Grimm."

Lux had been stocking up on emergency medical supplies when he heard someone shout for a first aid kit. Turning to look at the source of the request, Lux saw a masked individual and a badly injured man sitting. Deciding that trying to help was worth any awkwardness, Lux approached the injured man.

"Excuse me," Lux said as he approached the two people, "but I believe you may require more treatment then just a first aid kit." Lux looked the man over, noting all the injuries he had. "I could get someone to take you to a hospital if you want, it would be no trouble at all."

"I don't really need a hospital, but you can help me get this gauze on my back, and run this bandage over it."

Roy laughed.

"No internal damage. Some bruised ribs, but nothing major enough to warrant a hospital visit. Most of this will be healed by morning, except for the arm. My father is a doctor, so when I get to the house he'll insist on checking me over anyway."

Roy knew how to take care of himself. He had learned advanced forms of fisrt aid from his father, and he could bandage and set his own wounds easily. He just couldn't reach his back.

"The blood coming from my mouth? I bit my damn cheek."

Lux took the gauze and started applying it to the man's back as best he could. "I don't want to be rude so I won't ask about how this happened," Lux said as he finished with the gauze and started applying the bandage, "but if this is a recurring problem I might be able to assist with it." Lux finished applying the bandage and took a bottle of painkillers out of his coat. "Here," Lux said, offering the pills to the man, "they aren't that strong, but they should at least help a little."

Zwei realized as Lux offered the painkillered to Roy how much pain the boy was actually in. He reached onto his belt and unclipped a small flask from it before offering it to Roy alongside the painkillers Lux offered. "This isn't enough to put you out, but it might take your mind off the pain if the pills don't". "I will be with you until I know for sure that you are well"

Daisy had been shopping across the other side of the pharmacy, shopping for a few things, mainly cold & flu pills, headache tablets... And a few other things pharmacies sell. She walked towards the counter to pay for them when she noticed the small group, one appearing to be injured, Daisy looked down into her basket and covered up a certain water-based fluid with other items in her basket before heading over to the group. She arrived just in time to watch Lux hand Roy the painkillers, then Zwei hand him the flask. Daisy quickly snatched the flask out of Zwei's outstretched hand and looked at him with a look of disapproval, she quickly pulled out a notepad and wrote on it:
Code:
Zwei, you know what happens when you drink alcohol and take painkillers right? You die.
Daisy showed the notepad to Zwei before handing the flask back to him, from Daisy's previous encounter with Zwei, she couldn't really expect any better from him, but to be fair, Daisy was probably the most drunk out of everyone at the truth or dare game, so Daisy wasn't in any real position to say anyone had a problem with alcohol.

Spencer rides Stallion down the street. As he drives closer, he notices someone receiving medical attention. He puts the bike in neutral and starts to coast over. The bike comes to a halt on the side of the road next to the growing group and is shut off. First motive of approaching is to help the boy. Second motive is to find out who did this so Spencer could possibly get a lead on the possible bounty, if there is one on the person-or group-, and, if there is no bounty yet, he will request one so he can hunt someone down and potentially get a lot of money.
Spencer addresses the boy while flicking down the kickstand and getting off. "you alright, bro? Y'look like y'been in a gang fight!"

Roy was tempted to laugh. Complete strangers showing some semblance of concern for him was unfamiliar, and quite odd. He wished idly that they would just leave him alone, at least after helping him bandage the place he couldn't reach on his own.

"No gang fight, and no painkillers. I don't react well to painkillers."

Roy laughed.

"Unless you want me hyperactive and dancing, no painkillers."

He would likely drink a bit of mead when he got home. Or a lot of mead. To help himself sleep and dull the pain. For now, though, he finished bandaging himself, and stood more stably than before.

"I have to get home now. Thank you all for the help and concern."

Lux starting to get a little nervous with all the strangers gathering around and just wanted to sneak away, but he decided to that he should stay and help. "If you want, I could have someone take you home. With your injuries, it could be possible that you would collapse on the way back."

Spencer finally notices Lux and raises his chin to the team mate of Sonny's.
As a member of a family that would probably say the same thing after they got their ass handed to them, Spencer heed's the boy's desire to not receive any help. "Well alright, if y'don' need no help, y'don' need no help. One thing I would like to know, though. Would y'know who or where they're at?
