Cruisin' for a Bruisin' (Closed)

Skylar thought for a little as she washed herself. She thought about the cruise, the fun she was looking forward to. She thought about the new people she would meet, and actually thought how funny it was that she hadn't at least seen Matt around the halls or anything. She chalked it up to coincidence and stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around her body and one around her hair. She stepped back out into the room, pulling on a white sleeveless shirt that exposed her midsection and some black short-shorts. She threw on some sandals that she had packed and grabbed some money as well, stuffing it into a small pocket in her shorts. She grabbed her key and stepped outside, closing the door behind her.

Alright, where to go then? She thought as she started walking. There's got to be some place to eat on this huge ship, maybe even a bar. She thought with a slight smirk. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the fake ID she almost always had on her that stated she was eighteen. She looked at it for a moment before returning it to her pocket, and continued walking down the hall.

Azure orbs would veils veiling over, the crossbreed would begin to fall lost within his own little world once more while awaiting the arrival of the elevator. Seemingly sealing reality from his midst with his headphones' muffs secured over his human ears, the lad breathed the lyrics to the current song in his secondary, foreign language. As this went on, his left hand remained tucked inside of the matching pocket of his ebon, chained vest, while the right would hang loosely toward his eastern flank, its fingers gently tapping accurately along to the melody's beat. A pause would be taken as a pause in lyrics occurred within the song, and that was when the musical fighter exhaled deeply in a sigh. He would continue on as soon as he caught his breath, remaining at the same, steady place to the initial song.

"Naze minna why mitorete iku;
Tsukureta mask kab uri, woah, oh...damasare...
Murenashite itaishatii;
Mannin no koe abite wa 'yokoboru,' to you..."

Just as he was about to reach the chorus of the song, the ashen-haired Huntsman noticed the elevator finally reaching floor seven. The doors soon opened alongside his eyes, revealing an empty little chamber, much to the boy's surprise. Huh...would've expected at least one other, cabin-bound person to have been in here...whatever... he thought to himself, shrugging to himself as he began stepping forward and into the mechanism's small 'room' of sorts.

Skylar walked along the hallway, humming a little to herself as she did so. She passed a number of doors as she walked, and she figured that most of them were occupied due to how crowded it was outside. Even so, the hall was relatively empty, which she thought a tad strange. She shrugged it off, coming upon the elevator that was her access to the other floors of the ship. She saw the door was already opened, and placed her hand in the doorway just as it started to close. She stepped inside to see a young faunus man already inside, "Hi!" She said, putting on a smile as she entered the elevator.

The rhythmic hand of his outstretched, Haven was in the process of pressing a button labeled with a number '6.' Nearing footsteps soon caught the attention of his hybrid auds, however, causing them to twitch slightly beneath the cover of both his hat and hood. This in turn would cause both head wear layers to shift a tad, as well. He blinked as the source of these steps entered the chamber, oblivious of the fact that he seemed to have frozen in his current, outstretched position as if he were a statue. Slowly he would break away from his daze, gradually reaching his hand out further and instead pressing the button that would cause the doors to remain open a little while longer, in order to prevent them from closing on the other. "Er...yo," he would respond somewhat awkwardly, directing his gaze toward the lass that was then by his flank.

Looking back at the arrangement of pressable objects before him, he stared at them for a moment as if in hesitation before finally pressing the sixth one. Once he had done so, he took a quick glance toward his side and at the second teen yet again. "Uh...which floor are you heading to?"

As Natalie climbed up into bed, she carefully maneuvered herself as she sat down so that her legs could cross without messing up her dress. Sitting calmly on her queen sized bed, her breathing started to slow down. 'Just take some slow breathes....' Natalie thought to herself. 'Everything will be okay... Just stay in control...' There was nothing but silence as Natalie fought her quite war. There was only the occasional sound of one of the passengers that interrupted her.

Natalie finally opened her eyes again, her original olive green eyes had replaced the menacing red stare and everything was peaceful. Not a single thing was out of place. Natalie let out a sigh as she rolled off the bed. She crossed back across the room and entered the bathroom again, going straight for the mirror. "Thank goodness..." She vocalized. Her hair had become the same dark brown she was use to. "This trip isn't going to be as restful as I thought..." She shook her head slightly as she spoke, letting her eyes rest. When she reopened them, her heart sank. Her hair was no bleach white, and she was met with a glowing red stare. "No!"

Natasha snickered as she almost finished changing her clothes. "What a silly girl." Pulling up a pair of denim shorts to match the bikini she had already put on. "She really thinks she can stop me from doing what I want. How precious." she smirked as she walked back over to the bathroom. "Now if I could only get use to walking around in this body." Before the accident, Natasha was a human, and walking with a tail was a world of difference. Standing in the mirror, Natasha grinned while she thought about how angry her host would be at her running around in this outfit.

In almost no time, Natasha was out the door. "Time to see what this place has for fun before she comes back."

Mino shook Ashe's hand. "Like I said, I'm Mino Pallam. Fast talking isn't my only skill I'm also a pretty good shot with a crossbow. Speaking of crossbow I believe there's a sparring room in this ship. I would challenge you to a match but since your a third year I think I'll pass." She then looked at Fionn. "But I wouldn't mind challenging you to a few rounds." Mino's eyes suddenly widened she jumped up out of her seat. She's starting to seize control. I need sugar. She then looked over at Fionn and Ashe. "Where's the nearest, largest supply of sugar? Preferably candy."

Fionn felt slightly awkward as the girl began to rub his stomach, seeing as he was wearing his coat open because of the ships warmth (and because it looked better) there was quite a lot of contact going on; his awkward thoughts were, however suddenly interrupted by the voice of the strange girl who had been talking before.
Fionn sighed and rolled his eyes at the request of candy before taking another bite of his bar and handing the quarter eaten thing to Mino smiling. "I guess i did end up getting to make someone happy with this bar, you can keep it Mino." He said looking kind, before his stomach grumbled loudly once more. "Heheh, sorry about this guys, I skipped breakfast to get here on time, so I might go and grab something to eat, unless you want to come with me?"

Mino accepted the candy bar and quickly ate it all. She listened to the rest of what Fionn said and thought it over. "I'll go with you. They might have pancakes and where there's pancakes there's maple syrup!" She quickly walked down one of the hallways. It wasn't until she was halfway down the corridor that she realized she had no idea where to go. She quickly walked back and acted as nothing had happened. "Alrighty then let's go. You can lead the way."

Skylar reached her arms up, clasping them lightly over her head as she stretched, accidentally lifting her already short cut shirt slightly higher, "Huh...You know where a girl can get a bite to eat and a drink on this ship?" She asked, having forgotten to bring the simplest of supplies, a map of the vessel. She yawned, still recovering from the relaxation of her shower. She looked at the boy as she let her arms fall to her side again, He probably can't even hear me. She thought as she saw the boy's headphones. She leaned up against the side of the cabin, folding her arms as she waited for the boy to respond.

Marlin soon awoke from his five minute or so nap. He shook his head as he pulled out a chocolate bar from his knapsack. He continued to read his book as he opened the wrapper of the bar. He looked around at the people talking and so forth. Interesting group on board.......I should study at some point today.

Matt walks out of his door, feeling refreshed from his rest. He is now wearing white t-shirt and swim shorts, deciding to head to the pool for a swim. He closes his door and starts walking to the elevators, and he notices Natalie/Natasha also exiting her room at the same time. Hmm, she's wearing a bikini, she must be going to the pool, too. Matt reaches her and smiles. "Hey, are you heading to the pool? I'm heading up there, too. I'm Matt, by the way."

Natasha is greeted with a sudden thud on the other side of her door as she opens it. Pain courses through Raven's body from the fall off of his skateboard.
I really don't like today...

Proving immediately that the other's thoughts about his hearing were incorrect, the swordsman shrugged as he reeled his hand away from the selection of buttons before him, allowing his tone to become heard in a timely response. "From what I remember, a variety of restaurants of all cultures should be located as you near the center of any floor on the ship." Pausing briefly, he looked to his side, aiming to gain eye contact with the one whom he was sharing the elevator chamber with. Instead, he would find himself inhaling rather deeply yet silently as the lass stretched, quickly directing his head to face earthbound and closing his eyes.

As this happened, he would lift both hands of his, flipping his hood off and taking his headphones off, resting them around his neck. The last to go would be his hat, and both bestial auds of his would unveil the moment that he fully uncovered his head. "They supposedly surround the fighting arenas, which I just happen to be heading to. I could escort you to a place to eat or drink or something on the way there, though. If you want."

"That sounds great." Ashe replied, smiling at the mention of pancakes and maple syrup. "I haven't eaten in a while so I guess I'm kinda hungry." Almost on cue, her stomach gives an near audible grumble, the sheep faunus immediately clapping her her hand to it. "Heh heh. Sorry bout that." Noticing Marlin though, she leans over and plants a kiss on his cheek, hugging his neck for a second before standing. "I'll see you around." She said to him before turning to Fionn and Mino. "Alright. Lead the way."

Fionn chuckled a little at the sound of Ashes stomach growling, he reached over from where he was standing and rubbed her belly in the same way as she had done to him until she stood up herself, hearing the rest of her words he pulled up his mental map of the ship and attempted to figure out where they were with a slight "Hmm" sound escaping his lips. "Well i believe if we go down that hallway." He pointed down the hallway containing the elevators. "And take the first right, before taking a left we'll end up in the main cafeteria of the place, and yes i'm certain they have pancakes." Fionn said rolling his eyes on the last words jokingly before doing a stretch-yawn and starting down the hallway.

Ashe giggled girlishly as Fionn rubbed her belly, the sheep faunus moving to hug his arm to the center of her chest, making him continue the rub as she nuzzled her cheek to his shoulder. Happily, her ears flopped on to his shoulder, patting it and brushing his neck and chin with it every few seconds as she hummed happily. "Well then, let's go." Ashe said, turning to face Mino, smiling at the girl. "You have some competition for those pancakes."

Skylar giggled lightly as she saw the boy quickly avert his gaze. She made sure to devote the information he had given to memory before she said, "That's good to know, and sure, if it isn't too much trouble." She said, answering his offer, "Also I didn't catch your name. Mine's Skylar, Skylar Hart." She added, brushing her hair behind her ear so she could see properly. She glanced towards the door as it closed, bringing a humming silence to the cabin. Oh, great. she thought, casting her gaze downward, and seeming to find a great interest in the floor of the elevator.

Natasha narrowly avoided the randomly skate boarder as she opened the door, quickly side stepping him as he smacked her door closed. "Huh..." she said with a small huff. Looking over him as her tail swayed back and forth, she could only stay at him in a little bit of pity, ultimately not caring much if he was injured or not. "That could have ended badly." Stepping over him, she continued down the hall only to be meet with another person in the hall. She hadn't been able to judge the other person much, not all that interested in someone smacking into doors, but she was able to see this man fully. He stood a good amount higher than her, with messy brown hair that stood out from his white t-shirt.

She pondered his suggestion for a second, still walking a little closer to him. "Hmm... a swim does sound nice, Matt..." Her thought was interrupted but a rumble in her stomach. Natasha thought back for a second, remembering that Natalie had skipped breakfast to cut out some unwanted calories. "How about you and I go get something to eat instead?" She was finally up close to him, giving her a chance to try a little persuasion. She grabbed ahold of his arm and held it close up to her chest, knowing full well what she was doing. "What do you say? I could really use a bite."

Nodding as he heard the girl accept his offer, the crossbreed brought his eyes to open once more. Leaning back againt the rear wall of the room, he brought his right hand up, brushing it lightly through his hair and scratching the back of his head. "Er...Haven Kyoujii," he muttered in reply, glancing to his side once more to catch a better glimpse of the other. ...She seems to be around my age. ...Wonder if she attends the academy, the lad thought silently, heaving an inaudible sigh as he, too, directed his gaze earthbound, allowing the sound of the chamber moving to be the lone thing to enter his auds for a little while.

As if the silence was beginning to make him awkward and uneasy --- which it completely was --- Haven slowly lowered his hand, slipping it back within one of the zippered pockets of his hoodie. "So..." he began, looking faintly over to the side, "...you go to Beacon, by any chance?"

Raven looks up at the girl whose door he ran into to find it's the bossy-looking 'VIP' girl from before. Raven's eyes show a puzzled look. She isn't going to help me, is she? And then the girl steps over him and walks down the hall. Of course she wouldn't. "Gee thanks," He almost says to himself as he starts to get up and head to his room. I need something else to do. So far, life on 'S.S. Paradise' isn't much of a paradise...

Mino raised an eyebrow at Ashe and Fionn's contact but thought nothing of it. She then spoke to Ashe. "You can have all the pancakes you want. You won't have any syrup though you can thank me for that. Now then let's go! She began to follow Ashe and Fionn. This couldn't be better! At this rate I shall remain in control forever. She then let out a very evil sounding cackle that could have been much more subtle.

Fionn sighed happily as Ashe pushed herself onto him in a way that suggested she wanted him to continue rubbing her tummy, which he of course could not deny her and with a smile and a slight chuckle began to resume his earlier actions as they walked their way down the hallway.
"Okay as i said before i believe we take a left here." He said some minutes later as they stepped around a corner and into a hallway facing a large amount of eateries all quite close together, before rolling his eyes, pointing at a stand filled with waffle irons and maple syrup bottles, and saying. "And over there are the pancakes and waffles."

Mino ran as fast as she could to the pancakes and waffles. "YES! Soon the sweet sugary goodness of maple syrup shall be mine and sugar-drunk Mino shall last FOREVER!" When she arrived at the food she let out the most evil laugh she could muster. She then took a glass and filled it with maple syrup. She also grabbed a plate and stacked pancakes as high as she possibly could on the plate, taking nearly all the pancakes and leaving only two pancakes and no maple syrup. "Don't worry Ashe I left you a few." She said as she walked towards a table. Mino sat down and began eating her pancakes and drinking her maple syrup. "All this needs is some bacon and a nice game of hockey, eh." Mino was starting to let her accent slip in as she became more sugar-drunk

"Wait for meeeeee~" Ashe said, letting go of Fionn's arm to follow Mino, standing beside her and stacking her plate with pancakes though she had a much smaller stack, only three pancakes high. Pouring maple syrup over the top, Ashe adds a slice of butter before she deems it good enough and walks to Mino's table, sitting down next to the girl though there were four more free spaces on the rectangular table. "So, why the sugar love?" Ashe asked, giggling as she smeared the butter over the first pancake.

Fionn rolled his eyes again as the girls ran off (Him walking nonchalantly behind them) before having his attention diverted to the angry looking shop owner who demanded payment for literally all of the pancakes in the shop seeing as the two girls had managed to take all of them.
After paying for all of the pancakes and grabbing a small plate of waffles he began to look for the maple syrup, realizing that Mino was serious he sighed and smothered it in molasses, which reminded him of his poor childhood seeing as while the other kids atleast ate maple syrup on special occasions he was always left with the bitter molasses; he sat down next to Ashe and began to eat his bitter-sweet waffles (slightly envious of the pancakes) before saying. "So are you girls enjoying yourselves? Don't worry about paying me back."

"Oh, you payed for these?" Ashe asked, surprised at what Fionn said as she looked back and forth from his plate to his face. "I thought they were part of the lottery. It said so in the pamphlet. All expenses paid." Thinking a bit, Ashe tries to come up with a solution, paying Fionn back for the pancakes he didn't need to pay for. Shrugging, she cuts a slice of pancake, coating it generously in syrup before skewering it on her fork and poking him in the lips with it. "Here. Aaaaaahn~"

Fionn rolled his eyes (so hard infact that if he had done so infront of some form of biologist they would have felt as if he was the next step in evolution for humans with super strong eye muscles) at the girl as she pushed the piece of sugar-soggy pancake against his lips (Getting the syrup on his cheeks and chin), before reeling his head back like a shark, looking around shadily, and jokingly doing what looked like somewhat of a pounce towards it.
"I have succeeded in scaring my prey!" He said as a joke making fun of the piece of pancake as if it were sentient, before cutting off a slice of his waffle, dipping it in the bitter-sweet molasses, and doing as Ashe had done for him.
