Teacher Character Interest Thread!

Alright everyone. We've got a new thing coming up, and I know there's a fair amount of people are interested in it. Teacher characters! They are no longer restricted to just moderators. However, there are several requirements and specifics involved in the creation of one!

• A teacher character is a special privilege. They do NOT count toward your character limit of six.
  
• Teacher characters are required to teach classes. Class threads are up to the player with the teacher. It can be open or closed, etc. It must be related to your teacher's subject matter, and must be reasonably class-like. Field trips are okay, but not every time, for example. We are looking for each teacher character to have a class once a month or so. If the thread runs on for very long times, that's acceptable, you don't have to have multiple threads going.
  
• Your teacher must act as a teacher would. They would follow the rules of the school much more closely than students, due to the fact that they could lose their job, and they probably love their job or they wouldn't be there. That kind of thing. Basically, if you make a teacher, Role-play a teacher. This comment is about emphasis.
  
• The Color Naming Rules WILL be enforced for teacher characters. No exceptions will be allowed from this. As more "official" characters, they will need to confirm to this.
  

So! We are not opening Beacon teacher characters to ALL players. We are placing some restrictions on the way they are created to limit the potential large influx of new characters, and for other reasons, such as the fact that Beacon doesn't have 600 teachers, and cannot support EVERYONE having a teacher character. As such, if you ARE interested in creating a character, you need to reply in this thread with a short post describing the following things about your potential character. Do NOT post a full profile. We will not read it. It should be short and give a quick understanding of what you want to do with your character.

• Teaching Subject: Melee Combat, ranged combat, science,  history, weaponry, crafting, etc.
  
• Grade levels? Teaching only first years, or all 4 years, etc?
  
• A link to a thread on this website must be given as an "audition". You should be relatively active in this thread, and it should demonstrate a reasonable skill of role-playing. As per the rules, grammar, spelling, etc will not have a MAJOR impact, but if you are consistently having a great deal of issues to the point where it hinders reading, that may be considered.

Professor of Weapons Crafting (Students will be taught more advanced techniques on crafting personal weapons and attend seminars on what weapon uses are best in certain combat situations, and how to decide what may be the best style of weapon for one's combat style and preferences.)
Taking of the class is recommended for those who wish to craft the most fitting weapons for their owners. It can be taken by years one through four but it does not get any more challenging. All four grade levels are mixed into the same class together each period that the class is in session.

Name: Fir Sisty (Fir=Type of tree=Green)
Instructor for: "Hand to Hand Combat Reintroduction Class".

This course is geared more toward those students who have let their hand to hand stills or general unarmed fighting skill slip too far and cannot keep up with the rest of the students and would like a refresher or two by sparring with other students or practicing on training dummys. Seeing as the course is completely optional there is no reason for an excellent unarmed fighter to take the course unless invited for demonstration purposes. Of course this course also wishes for students who know nothing to little about unarmed combat to come in and learn from the instructor. This course is not only optional, but open to anyone in any grade.

I'm not sure if this works or not, but I'll give it a shot. I don't have an idea for a name yet, but I do have a character in mind.

Position: Dispatcher for Beacon Students (kinda like a quest giver, I guess) -- various assignments relating to either combat (either versus Grimm, or training/sparring, ect.), reconnaissance (mapping an unknown area, looking into a specific area, ect.), or recovery (bringing back something left behind by someone, searching for someone missing, ect.). Contacted via Scroll or given in class. Used to test a students ability based on classes enrolled in/aptitude in a certain field. Possibly a proctor for midterms/end-of year exams?
