Bianca VS Emerald [CLOSED]

Bianca sat in the arena, looking up at Emerald since she was sitting on all fours on the floor. A common gesture from the cat, something Emerald should have been used to by now.

"You said you wanted to spar, to get used to each other's abilities, right?" she asked him, making sure she knew why she was here instead of napping elsewhere. Her eyes were a bit droopy and her speech was slower than usual. Her mischievous smile was ever present, however. It was a staple of her personality, something that was almost always there.

She used her hand to scratch an area behind her ear that itched as she waited for Emerald to actually do something.

Emerald stared down at his feline teammate. "That is correct," he replied. That is correct~, Almandine said mockingly. Shut up. Make me! You're still pissed off about being stuck in there for a week, aren't you? Hell yeah, I am! Quit being a baby. It was your own fault. If you could just let loose, once in a while, maybe I wouldn't have done it! Guys, can we stop fighting? We have a fight to do. Fine. Fine.

Emerald spread his legs shoulder width apart, with his right in front of his left. "Let's begin," he states, and with that he quickly feigns to the right, before sidestepping to the left. Now with her on his right side he brings Răbdare down, and tries to hit her with an uppercut on the right side of her face.

Bianca didn't move at all, she simply let the gauntlet punch her straight in the face. She flinched a bit, rotating her head the direction she was hit simply because of the force.

"Aw, that kinda hurt, nya~" she said, adding the "nya" on the end to confuse Emerald a little bit. It was something she hardly did, as it was just to tease people, but it was kind of fun to see people's confused faces when they heard her say it. Just after saying it too, she disappeared from sight, only to reappear behind Emerald with little sound. Actually, she was a white and orange blur as she did so. The human eye just had trouble tracking her. She couldn't actually disappear from view.

"Come on now, you gotta be faster than that." she said into his ear as she attempted to hug him from behind. This wasn't a hug actually, but rather an attempt to hook her arms underneath his and get him into a sort of wrestler's hold.

Emerald was slightly surprised that she didn't avoid the attack. He was not phased by her sentence addition, however, only giving a slight click of his tongue to show he registered it. Was that suppose to affect me? Probably. Too sleepy to care. Why does she have to do that? Well, it affected someone, it looks like. Hey!

Luckily before the fight, Emerald had set Răbdare to grappling mode. When he heard Bianca in his ear, he instinctively shot it to his right, into the wall of the arena. Whether he went over her arm, or dragged her along with him, depended on how close her hold had gotten when he shot Răbdare. Either way, he was heading toward the wall. I want to fight! I want to fight! I want to fight! You're grounded for what you did for the rest of the week. Gah! I might need one or both of you other two, though. So be ready. Right. Okay.

Luckily Bianca's hold hadn't gotten far when Emerald shot his grappling hook, so he simply flew away from her. "Hey! No fair, I don't have any cool weapons!" she shouted as she sprung after him, slowly catching up to him in as she flew towards him. She dropped to the ground about halfway to him, but she dropped to all fours and used all of her limbs to propel herself the rest of the way towards him. A smirk appeared on her face as she twisted herself back to aim a punch at Emerald, swinging at him with all of her force once she came in range.

Landing next to the wall and releasing Răbdare from it. He turns to look where he left Bianca and sees her charging him. All power and no finesse? That'll bite her in the butt if she doesn't learn fast. She's pouncing. Look out! Emerald thought for a millisecond No. She's punching.

He kicks his own feet out from underneath him, dropping himself faster than if he tried to duck. If all went to plan, she would use all her force in her punch.... into the wall.

Emerald was right to assume that Bianca would put all of her force into punching the wall where Emerald had been, intending to hit him but not noticing he dodged until her hand was planted inside the wall from the sheer force of the punch. There was a small crater from the impact of her hand, and then her hand got stuck in the wall.

"Nng... Not again!" she cried as she tried to pull her hand out from the hole. It took a few moments but eventually she managed to get it out, twisting herself to land on all fours instead of her back as she stared down Emerald, waiting for his next move.

Emerald slowly got up off the ground as Bianca struggled with removing her hand. "I'm taking a moment as leader, to give advice. Diving head-on into that attack, left you very open. Plus, you getting stuck like that seems like it would be very unforgiving in a life or death situation. Luckily, that's why we're at this school, to master our fighting skills to be unbeatable," he said to his teammate.

With that done, he takes out Caritatis and charges at Bianca suddenly. He does the fake-out move he did earlier, but this time he shoots Răbdare at the ceiling pulling him upward. After only going up a couple meters he detaches Răbdare and drops down behind Bianca. Landing crouched, he spins 360 degrees, aiming a small slice at Bianca's right calf.

Why did you have to stop the fight? It ruined the excitement! He was being a leader, unlike what the rest of us would be able to do. Hey! I'm not gonna take that lying down! Lapis, you think we'd be great leaders, right? Zzzzz. Looks like he's asleep and taking it lying down. Damn it! Will you two stop talking? I'm trying to focus here. Sorry. I'm not!

"Come on." she said as she watched Emerald fly over her head and land behind her. When he tried to cut her, she jumped backwards and over his head. "You seem to like coming from behind, much like me!" she said, meaning every last ounce of innuendo. She took a step forwards on her hands and feet and swiped her left hand at Emerald, her semblance activated to it would cut anything her hands touched, even if they barely did.

Immediately seeing Bianca fly into view from above, Emerald quickly jumps backwards. Wait! Did she just... Yep! Ha ha ha ha Why does she have to do that? Why do you keep getting upset about it? I don't care, either way. Stop talking so I can focus.

Emerald was upset. In his jump, his body had avoided the attack, but his cloak had flapped about and was just in the way of Bianca's attack. There was now a averaged sized cut near the bottom of the cloak. I'm gonna have to find a way to fix that. Nevertheless, Emerald moves Caritatis in front of his torso in a block, waiting for Bianca to do a follow up attack.

Bianca followed up her initial swipe by propelling herself forwards to Emerald, taking another swipe at him, this time aiming for his chest. After that she made sure to watch for him to counterattack, to try and dodge around and counterattack to his counterattack. That works right? That's a thing? No? Okay, nevermind then. Bianca was just making things up as she went, she didn't know if she was smart enough to do that.

Emerald blocks his chest with Caritatis stopping Bianca's arm. Since he had seen her already cleanly cut his cloak, he knew definitely to avoid her swinging hands. Once stopping her attack he quickly aims a punch to her gut with Răbdare.

Bianca grabbed the punch with one of her hands, aiming a punch at Emerald's chest. She lessened the power of her semblance so it wouldn't hurt too much. In fact, it was just a normal punch rather than a superpowered one like usual. This was because she wasn't intending on actually harming him. Still, her normal physical capabilities were abnormal anyways so it would still hurt quite a bit.

Since Bianca had to use both her hands to accomplish what she planned, Emerald didn't have to keep blocking with Caritatis. He let go of the sword and grabbed the wrist of Bianca's punching hand. He tries to pull Bianca off the ground and starts to spin, hopefully with her in the air to propel her around him at a fast speed. Once at enough speed, he would let go of both her arms, planning to let her fly off.

Bianca didn't resist when she was flung, but she was able to twist herself to land on her feet and slide back a few meters. Upon stopping, she didn't hesitate to charge at Emerald again, swiping at him twice upon coming in range. She didn't want to give him much time to react or anything, she wanted to keep him on the defensive.

Emerald watches as Bianca lands steadily. Good balance, she's got that. I'm getting bored. Hey Topaz, let's change things up a bit. Uh, okay. Emerald closes his eyes calmly as Bianca runs up to him, when he suddenly says, "Fragmentation."

A yellow haired/iris color version of Emerald appears in front of him. Using his own versions of Răbdare and Caritatis to block both the strikes. Topaz then made a grab for Bianca's wrists, while Emerald ran around the side, aiming again for Bianca's right calf with Caritatis.

Bianca looked confused at seeing the second copy of Emerald appear, this one with yellow hair and eyes. He blocked her attack, and then the original Emerald came around the aimed for her calf once more. This time, she leaped over the yellow Emerald, holding onto his shoulder as she did so, and upon landing on her feet behind him, flung him over her shoulder and several feet away. Without looking, she aimed a kick for the original Emerald's head and was surprisingly accurate with it as well despite not even looking at him.

Topaz, the yellow haired version, flew through the air, but landed sliding on his feet a few meters away. While in the air, he shot his version of Răbdare at Emerald. Emerald jumped off the ground and was quickly pulled over to where Topaz had landed, avoiding Bianca's kick. "How far are we fighting for? It'd be awful if someone got really hurt from this," Topaz mentioned to Emerald. "We'll keep fighting until she feels that she is done in this fight," he responded. The both charge at her, both aiming punches with Răbdare; Topaz to the stomach, and Emerald to the face.

Bianca smiled, overhearing their little conversation due to her faunus hearing as she prepared to dodge their attack. "Oh that's gonna take awhile. At this point I'm sure this is just a debate of who's gonna last longer." she said as she stepped back and out of range of the punches before she used her speed to get behind both of them. "Come now." she said as she swiped her claws at the fake Emerald, this time with enhanced speed and power. "If you want, I can go just a little faster~"

Topaz blocks the swipe from Bianca with Caritatis. Emerald runs 10 meters away, turns around and fires Răbdare to grab at Bianca's right leg. "Do what you want," Topaz enters. "We'll just have to fight harder," Emerald finishes. Put me in, already! Zzzzz.

"Oh?" she said as she feels something wrap around her leg. She looked down to see that Emerald had gotten her with his gauntlet thingy. "Well then." she said as she planted herself on the ground, lowering her stance so she was difficult to move before bending over and grabbing the wire. "You pulled me, now I pull you." she said as she used her semblance to increase her strength twofold and pull him towards her with both hands. She ignored the yellow version of him since it wasn't doing anything. Her intention was to pull him towards her, and then punch him if he got close enough in range.

Since Bianca ignored Topaz he grabs her around her midsection and lifts her up in the air before bending backward to suplex her into the ground.

Emerald might have been able to let go of Bianca's leg with Răbdare, but with her grabbing onto the rope, he was stuck, both being pulled by Răbdare's retract function and Bianca's arm strength. However, with Topaz not noticing Bianca having a hold of the rope he swings her above him, Emerald is also swung in a wider arc over them, crashing into a wall a bit dazed.

Using the leverage from the suplex, she flung her arms above her head to stop herself from hitting the ground and swung her legs forwards to lift Topaz off of the ground. Using her enhanced strength, she then did a handspring to launch herself into the air.

"Wait why am I doing this?" she asked Topaz, not really understanding quite what was happening. "I think you should let go." she said as they hit the peak of the jump and started falling now.

Emerald is still dazed against a wall at the moment.

Topaz points Răbdare at the ceiling pulling himself and Bianca up. As they get closer he let's go of her. When she starts to fall he detaches Răbdare from the ceiling and aims it at the floor. It quickly attaches and pulls him faster to the floor than Bianca. When passing by her he aims a punch at her stomach with his left hand (not the one with Răbdare).

((OOC: Remember this is the timid/shy one that Bianca is fighting. Hint hint: Like David.))

Unfortunately for Topaz, his punch aimed at her stomach actually hit her in the chest. Another thing that was unfortunate for him was that Bianca's instinct was to grab the hand even before it hit her, and she held onto it all the way until they hit the ground. She didn't realize that his hand was practically groping her chest at the moment until they hit the ground. When she finally came to realize where Topaz's hand was, her face turned a little red before she looked at him with a sly look.

"Oh Topaz, I didn't know you felt that way about me!" she said in mock surprise, still holding onto his hand that was on her chest.
