Appearance: Lucius' height is 5'6" and his weight is 140 pounds. He has black hair, dark brown eyes, and fair skin. He wears a black cloak where the front only covers up to his shoulders while the back covers only his back. His clothes are almost similar to Lie Ren's clothes but its color is of a lighter shade of gray and it has no buttons. His pants have a similar style and color to his clothes.

Personality: Lucius is quite timid and is usually a passive person. He has a mature personality, and rarely or sometimes never had felt any negative emotion towards someone or something; though an exception to that is his deep hatred for the Grimm which he sees as neither a being, or a thing but only as an entity that should not exist. He is generous, kind, and is willing to lend a hand to anyone who needs his help. Though with such an almost perfect personality, the only flaw to it is his temper regarding pointing out his height; directly or indirectly. His personality will then change to its opposite until his temper is calmed. When enraged, he will do everything within his ability to prove that his height does not hinder him from doing anything that anyone can do. He also has a tendency to go berserk if ever he was in a state of panic.
History: Lucius was raised in an orphanage. He was found as an infant by some travelers when they investigated a burnt down village that was attacked by the Grimm during that time. He was found being covered by two shields with an X on one shield, and a V on another. Those shields kept him safe during the time when the Grimm attacked and they belonged to his father and mother who unfortunately died during the attack. He was then raised in an orphanage until he was about 10. Unfortunately, he wasn't adopted at that age and the orphanage that he was raised in closed down. He didn't want to continue feeling unwanted so he ran away from the new orphanage that took him in. He traveled in Vytal at a young age of 11; carrying only his clothes, some food, and the two shields that kept him alive.
He encountered companions who shared almost the same fate as him and he traveled with them. Life as a traveler was harsh so he, alongside his companions, usually hunted for food or took odd jobs. Though his life with them seemed almost perfect, tragedy struck. While traveling, a pack of Beowolves had surrounded them and they had no means to easily fight off such a large group. As the Beowolves took down each of his companions, he panicked and awakened his Aura. The two shields he was carrying resonated and it shielded him from getting attacked by the Beowolves. Eventually, help came from a Hunter who happened to be passing by and was capable of fending off the Grimm. Unfortunately, it was too late and only Lucius survived the attack, once again.
The Hunter, Krious Cole, saw the potential in Lucius and raised him as his son. It was difficult to fix the trauma he had suffered but after 7 years of intense training conducted by Signal Academy and his new father. He eventually passed through such a phase and had become who he is today. Then finally entering Beacon Academy.
Strength: Though Lucius is rather short, he is capable of tanking heavy attacks. He wields two shields that has a hidden blade in them. He is also capable of using his shields as means of pushing away enemies or deflecting projectile attacks. He has a quick reaction time, fast movement, high endurance, and a large amount of aura. He is also capable of covering his allies with his aura to prevent them from taking any damage. He is also knowledgeable with the mechanics of dust though he doesn't use them for any of his weapons.
- Aura Snap: It is an ability that extends the range of his deflective aura for a split second only to push back physical things from hitting him or things that are within a 3 meter range from him. He may not use this all the time and each use has a waiting interval of at least 3 mins. before being capable of using again.
Weakness: He has no projectile attacks. His normal personality prevents him from being aggressive and becoming offensive. His enraged personality prevents him from being tactical and disregards his ability to shield attacks. While in a defensive state that uses his aura, he can't move from one place to another. If he were to be left alone against a large group, he hesitates due to his past trauma kicking in. He can only be useful as a support or a fighter or sometimes useless depending on the mental state he is in. He also doesn't use any dust in order to use his weapons, but he is very knowledgeable of them.
WEAPON:Name: Xavier and Valerie
Inspiration: Xavier was the name of his father, and it means "a new home" in Basque language which signifies how he was adopted. Valerie was the name of his mother, and it means "strong or valiant". Thus when combining the two creates a "strong new home".
Primary Form: Defensive State: Xavier and Valerie were found to be normal shields and they both have a width of 16 inches and a length of 36 inches. Xavier and Valerie can both be combined in order to create a bigger shield and it can also be easily separated; this is the Defensive State. This feature was added by Krious Cole, his adoptive father. It is also capable of extending its field of deflecting through application of aura. Thus it is also capable of preventing him from receiving damage from anywhere, though the front would be the hardest side to penetrate.
- Weapon Image 1st Form:
- Shielter: Is a tactic where Lucius sits on one of his shields and covers the top of his body with the other shield. The gap between the two shields shall then be covered with his deflective aura. While in this state, Lucius may not move but he may be capable of sustaining explosive attacks, fall damage, and may be tossed around anywhere.
- Shield Cage: By letting go of his shields and placing them within a range from 1-3 meters between each other, anything that comes between the shields shall be trapped within the deflective aura of Lucius' shields. Anyone or anything within that area can't escape, can't attack anything/anyone outside the area, and can't receive damage from outside the area. Anyone touching the shield while in this state shall expand the shield and absorb the one who touched it. It would only last for at least 10 mins.
Secondary Form: Offensive State: Hidden blades were added at the back part of the shield where the handle is located. Each shield has a hidden blade. When Lucius is enraged (usually against the Grimm), the hidden blades are to be used; the shield retracts and covers Lucius' whole arm like an armor and the blades would then appear to where the shield handle was. It would then appear like Lucius is wielding dual Katars. Though the blades are short, it can be extended by means of application of aura.

- Blade Wheel: Lucius may reveal the blades hidden in his shield and then he will then go into the Shielter state whereas he can then manipulate the aura to spin the shield and act like a wheel where he can then attack anything that is in his way with the blades. Though, Lucius only uses this against the Grimm and it uses a lot of his aura to perform this.
It is possible for him to use Xavier in an offensive state and Valerie in a defensive state but it can only be done when his mind is in state of peace or relaxation which almost never occurs during battle against Grimm.
History: Xavier and Valerie were the shields that were wielded by his parents. These shields protected Lucius while he was still a baby. Though the weapons that were the partner of these shields are nowhere to be found. The initials of his parents are written as the emblem of the shield while their names were written on the handle of the shield. The shields were designed to amplify the aura of its wielder and that it would resonate to its wielder's aura for it to generate a deflective field around the wielder.
