Appearance: 5'6", Boniface has a rather lean and slender build and look to him. He has piercing, amber eyes and a seemingly small mouth, topped off with a short, well-kept and trimmed moustache, curling upwards only ever-so-slightly. His hair is black and of moderate length, kept down by his hat. His usual attire consist of a navy-blue cavalier hat with two feathers - crimson and golden, representing his military achievements. Beyond that he wears a white shirt with slightly filly and patterned sleeve ends, on top of which is a simple navy-blue leather vest, akin to a form of simple leather armor. His trousers, then, are fitted perfectly to his legs by order to give him comfort as well as mobility in battle. They are held up by his Esquirescitador belt. His shoes are simple, but well polished and of perfect size to, once again, let him utilize both comfort and utility to the best of hFris extent. His shoulders are topped off with beautifully forged metal spaulders, which span over the nape of his neck in order to hold up his most prized possession - a cloak, outwards made of simple red velvet with golden inscriptions in Habargan language AND Habargan-made golden thread. On the inner side, it is coated in shiny golden lizard scales (from lizards native to his home island of Habarga), running the full length of the inner part and utilized additionally as a protection for the back.

History: Boniface was born on the island of Hagarba into the family of c'Anningham's. The family was on the fourth step of the social ladder of the country - a somewhat aristocratic family but not on a Royal or truly noble level. They had many luxuries, access to above average education, swordplay tutoring, plenty of money... but they also had to serve the higher aristocrats - pure-blooded Faunus families, descendants of the first settlers to Habarga. His lifestyle, therefore, consisted of being taught and cared for by servants while at the same time being something close to a playmate of some Faunus children. He grew up in the luxuries just as any other aristocrat had, and as his age increased so did his duties towards the Faunus - his playmates soon became his Masters whom he served around their homes for. It was a typical life, and one which he did not mind - after all, the Habargan belief was in the supremacy of Faunus, and as such he followed it without second thought.

At the age of 11 he was drafted into the Habargan Militia to deal with the problems of Royal opposition - the times were frantic, and while many people went on with their lives, ambushed and bouts broke out in various streets of Habarga - bloodied battles which caused casualties on both fronts. Killing became nothing but a simple must for him. His ability with the sword was recognised and he was brought to the captain of the Royal Guard, offering him a place where he could serve the King in special missions, many of which consisted within the Royal Palaca itself, and at the same time beyond the walls of the City, in the wilderness. It was, of course, an honor for him, so he accepted without a second thought, obtaining the priviliges of his Semblance being unlocked and getting a custom made weapon for him by one of the Guard's Weaponsmiths. He fought for the King in many instances - thwarting more than one assassination plot, fighting the few rebellion battles within the Palace walls and escorting expeditions to explore the island further.

Alas, he became recognized, one of the many living legends of the King's army. The wise and merciful King, with the aid of his advisors, has developed a plan to send out his best Guardsmen into the world to gain more knowledge and abilities, hoping to make his personal small squadron out of them. Boniface was simply lucky enough to reach a level such that he was given yet another opportunity - travelling to Beacon academy in Vale, one which taught not how to battle humans, which he was well on his way of mastering, but rather how to battle the Grimm creatures, which he had trouble with. Not in a place to deny the King, nor wishing to give up such a prestigious opportunity, he eagerly set off towards Vale, deciding to save the plentiful funds he was given and live in the dormitories of the school.

Personality: Boniface was brought up by various lecturers and maidservants, learning about the world and various rules of etiquette. As such he is a pretty proper person - polite, kind, helpful and likes to consider himself a gentleman. Quite a ladies man, he treats most women with respect befitting at least a dutchess, with the exception of a few that make a crucial mistake when talking about something or choose to fight him - in battle, after all, politeness may stay but mercy cannot. Due to his upbringing, he's especially respectful to Faunus, with him being akin to a servant to any Faunus he shares some sort of close bond with.

One of his uglier parts is his personal hint of arrogance - as the pupil of his swordsmanship master and various other trainers, he believes firmly that they are the greatest, and will challenge those who choose to disprove the teachings of his masters. He can also act rather posh at times - despite however well you were brought up, certain luxuries stay in your head. Usually it would just limit to being a bit picky about things.

Strength:
] Trained in weapon proficiency with both katanas and rapiers, as well as basic training with a pike.

] Tutoring and high education in certain areas (Languages, Mathematics, Various musical instruments and styles)

Weakness:
] Women. In all seriousness though he usually respects the ladies and tries not to harm them. That can bite back.
] Arrogant belief in his swordplay master which may cause him to bypass his teachings and ethics.
] Not physically strong.
] Not good in terms of endurance either.
] He's a gentleman. Which sometimes leaves him open for attacks should he act politely before/during battle.

Semblance: Survival of the Fittest: Boniface's semblance allows him to use his Aura to alter his genetics and evolve his body to fit a particular scenario. There are various limitations to using this ability. First of all, to develop a way of dealing with a problem by evolving, Boniface first has to experience it and then evolve into a form which fits the scenario. First-time evolution requires at least a 15 minute exposure to the condition into which Boniface is evolving to deal with, while his body slowly changes to adapt. After the first time, his body remembers how to deal with the condition and can evolve faster. The evolutions always go from basic Boniface - this means that, if he were to evolve from one form into another, he would have to go through the process of devolving back to his human self. In addition, when he evolves he physically feels everything that changes about him - often times it can be extremely painful.
Currently known evolutions
Aqua Marine
? Grants Boniface another skin layer to aid in waterproofing, in addition to developing gills to breathe underwater and additional webbing between fingers to help in swimming.
? Boniface cannot breathe regular air while in this mode, and cannot stay conscious/alive without water.
? Evolution takes 3 minutes to complete, including the growth of the new layer and the webbing and the opening up of the gills, the process being rather painful. Likewise, it takes 3 minutes to completely revert to normal form.

Defender Scale
? Grants Boniface a layer of thick, bulky scales growing out on his skin. They aid him in taking heavy blows as well at cutting attacks - a really good physical defence.
? The scales are, however, rather sensitive on the underside so anything that can sneak under them, such as flames, hurts him a lot and may cause the scales to drop off. In addition, they weigh a fair bit all together so they also slow him down.
? Evolution takes 5 minutes to complete, including the initial growth and surfacing of the scales - this is especially painful. The scales can be detached by force or weakening their underside - however, their retraction and return to norm takes another 5 minutes.



WEAPON

Name: Esquirescitador

Primary Form: Esquirescitador is a belt around Boniface's waist, used to hold up his pants. It has 4 sheats attached to it, 2 on either side of Boniface. It is rather bulky, but for a reason - it is made up of a simple belt which is then covered in specially-produced detachable sword hilts. Instead of 4 swords, he has 4 blades (2 rapier and 2 katana blades) and about 12 sword hilts around his waist, making up the belt. The idea of the 'weapon' is for Boniface to attach/detach hilts as he pleases to fight with whatever combination of swords he wants to at the moment.

Secondary Form: The hilts can actually attach to each other as well as the blades - this lets Boniface form them into a pole of variable lengths, going from 5 inches (one hilt) to up to around 5 feet (12 hilts). In that mode, the blades are still attachable, so it can become a pike, for example.

Tertiary Form: -

History: Crafted by one of Habargan Weaponsmiths per Boniface's design and order of the Guard. Later upgraded by the same Weaponsmith.

Vehicle: He was brought up to be nice, but nothing was there about not showing his aristocratic background. As such, one of the things he brought to Vale was his car, a Golden DeLorean

First off, I'm not 100% on the semblance, but you seem to understand control and balance better than most. Approved 1/2

Secondly, gold? A kickass DeLorean on it's own was enough, it has to be gold huh? Works for me.
