Match E: Samuel & Declan vs Gray & Chaos

Landing on the ground with a hard thump Declan looked around the forest. "Ok so taking into account the angle I entered the forest I'm.....still completely lost....great." He wandered around the trees attempting to stay as quiet as possible. "This sucks, why didn't they just say 'Hey you're going to be in teams' beforehand? I don't even know this guy." He mumbled to himself as he wandered around aimlessly.

After landing and quickly clearing the area around him, Samuel looked down to the device he was handed. "Find my teammate, or head to the objective... " He thought to himself, "No point in wandering around lost, follow the mark, hopefully he thinks the same."

After checking his weapons one last time, Samuel follows the devices guide.

Declan suddenly remembers the device he was given before. He reaches into his pocket, fishes it out and... "Broken. God damnit. I'm a sitting duck until either my teammate or opponent finds me...Well better find a good hiding place and wait it out." He looks around him and spots a tall, lush tree. "Perfect." He climbs to one of the leafy branches. "Ok...this should do. Better get on the defensive for now." He activates both of his gauntlets and extends the blades to form the two shields, and begins waiting.

Gray casted a temporary wall and leaped off of it, landing after crashing through some forest brush. He began running to find his partner, his hand on the hilt of his sword while it is still in it's black undecorated sheath on his back. "Just find my partner, then beat another team. Simple."

Declan lifts his head up at he sound a and branch breaking in the distance. 'Crap' He slunk further into the brush of the branch

Gray eyes his environment as he passes by it. He sees many tall trees, perfect for someone to hide. He analyzes how they may be useful or hindering in a fight.

Declan scans the forest ground looking for the source of the crash. 'That better have been my team mate...' He reajusts himself on the branch into a more defensive position.

Chaos uses his Yellow shells to slow his descent, ultimately slowing him to the point where he can sort of crash-roll onto the forest floor.

"Jesus, no one told ME i was gonna be hurled from a cliff." He brushed himself off and took in his surroundings. Green trees, green grass, green shrubs.

"Great, well if they're wearing GREEN i guess we're screwed." He turned his head sharply towards the sound of some cracking and crashing, hoping it was his teammate.

"I doubt i'm THAT lucky..." He tensed up, crouched behind a bush, peering through it, and prepared for the worst.

Chaos would have seen Gray looking down at the device given to him and all the other students. He looked in the Direction of Chaos and headed over, not noticing him.

"That wasn't far off." Quickly adjusting his mask and heading off toward the crashing noise. "Hopefully it's either my teammate, or I only run into one of them..."

Declan hears two pairs of feet running from opposite directions towards the crash, 'this is going to end one of two ways, badly; or very badly.' He thought as he readied himself.

Chaos pops out from behind the bush, guns drawn, rechambering them with a small mechanical swish then a click. He points them both at Gray without realising that it was him.

"Oh crap!" he said in a hushed tone. You almost got your head blown off! We need to either find our enemies or get to a better position. What do you think?

Gray slightly draws his sword when the guns are pulled on him, but puts it back.

"We definitely need a better position. The device is pointing West."

He points behind Chaos.

"We can spread out and use the element of surprise."

"This should be fun." Samuel thought to himself, carefully peaking from the bushes. "Two of them, clearly teammates. Having backup would be nice, but that's not going to happen... What are the chances help just falls out of a tree."

"Quite a coincidence huh? Up here Sam." Declan half whispers half yells from the tree branch. He drops down into a near by bush. "How ya doing?"

"Hmph. They're crafty, i doubt they'll be far off. We should probably either do something creative unless you know of a REALLY good hiding place."

"Well, that's convenient..." Samuel said while thinking to himself, "This must be Declan. No surprise he knows my name, that just takes checking to see who your partner is... But can this guy read minds..? Oh well, that will have to wait, there is a job to do."

"Glad you're here, things were about to get a little sticky for me." He said, tightening his mask in preparation for the fight.

"Over there."

Gray points to a large set of rocks, tall and wide for someone to hide behind.

"One of us go to the rocks, and the other goes up in the tree above it." He whispers and points at the tree towering above the rocks.

Declan nods "Yeah there was crash in the distance and since it wasn't you I'm assuming they've already met... Oh hey where does your device say the battle ground is? Mine kinda.... Broke. You know the whole 'falling strategy'."

"Welp, i cant think of anything better. I'll take the tree."

Chaos blasts himself upwards, high up into the tree. Upon hiding in the trees, he swapped out his yellow shells with the red ones underneath his coat. He cracks his neck.

"Let's do this."

Gray nods and swiftly runs over to the rocks, making it a point to hide himself. He smirks and keeps his hand on the hilt of his sword, sensing an impending fight. He draws his sword and loads electric dust into the hilt, and quickly sheaths it back.

"The battleground is.. near." Samuel said, pointing a finger at someone flying into tree rather close. "Preferable not where they are waiting for us, though."

Declan looks up "Right... So not that way then?" He turns around and sees a clearing in the distance. "OK.... OK this could work. Come on Sam, this way!" He shoots off in the direction of the clearing.
