Appearance: Steele has dark brown eyes that match his short unkempt hair. Steele’s skin is slightly tanned and stands at 5’ 10” and is neither thick nor thin. He often wears a Black leather jacket (Minus the cross) with belts securing the coat from his chest to his waist. The coat hangs down to his knees where it ends and covers his weapons from prying eyes. His pants are usually dark blue jeans with black combat boots. Where his jeans are tucked into his boots there are black leather belts with silver buckles on each of his legs. On his arms he has a single belt above the elbow on each of his arms both have a buckle with a sword design on it. Further down his arm he wears red gloves on each of his hands with hardened knuckles. In his pocket he keeps a pair on contact lenses to make his eyes appear

History: As a child Steele had no other role model than his father and he had only met his father once. Every night Steele would hear from his mother how great a hunter his father was and how famous a gunsmith he was. He would hear stories of his father slaying hordes upon hordes of grimm without breaking a sweat and him forging lethal firearms. Steele’s imagination was fuelled by this and of course began studying firearms to follow in his fathers footsteps. He wanted to be the person in the tales forging the lethal firearms and being the perfect role model. His skills in making firearms became greater quickly as did his desire to meet his father but of course his skill never matched that of what he heard of his fathers skill from his mother. Life was pretty good for Steele at this time, he was finally nearing his father's supposed skill that is until a the sound of the doorbell rang throughout the house. There his fathers team-mate delivered three things. One, the news that Steele’s father had been brutally slain by a previously unknown grimm. Two, his fathers leather jacket with dried blood still on it. Three, a set of blood soaked handguns that were supposedly his fathers. Soon everything  that didn't involve  making weapons or using them in Steele’s eyes became boring and pointless. Several months later Steele was enrolled in Signal Academy by his mother against his will and soon graduated to Beacon academy where he was forced to enrol again by his mother.

Personality: Steele usually wears a bored or blank look most of the day which has been mistaken for having no emotion but this is hardly the case in fact  and he is just as his face suggests, boredom. Steele has grown bored of almost everything by now and is constantly searching for entertainment. One of the few things that don't bore him are his weapons and can be found cleaning and attempting to make improvements to them if he isn't busy. For an inexplicable reason Steele is borderline paranoid and untrusting of others with the exclusion of his team-mates. He prefers to remain secretive in his activities and gets agitated when people try to ask. He has gone as far as to take notes about certain people to take notes about their daily lives and likes and dislikes in case they decide to “target” him.

Strength: Pinpoint accuracy with his weapons and effective at fighting with them up close or at a distance. His endurance is surprisingly high and is able to keep fighting as long as he doesn’t get many attacks landed on him and he still has ammo.

Weakness: Without using his semblance Steele finds it difficult to close the distance between opponents and is easily counter attacked like this. If Steele's vision were to be blocked in most ways he would be forced to either flee or get close with his shotgun and expose himself further due to not being able to aim.

Semblance: Steele projects the image of his soul unto himself an manifests it using aura to create a casing of aura around himself (In other words an aura exoskeleton if that helps). It will take a matter of seconds to complete the transformation where Steele will be encased by his New body where he will remain in control of all of his actions. Due to the new body being made completely of aura it is able to resist much more damage than Steele normally would be able to do in his normal form. While he is using this form he also gains a large speed boost and is able to close the distance from opponents quickly for melee combat or reload his weapons very quickly. Of course being made of nothing but aura this “exoskeleton” cannot be sustained for large amounts of time and will soon begin to weaken and disappear over time. When the body fades away Steele will emerge from it and will often be near passing out unless something is done about it.

Weapon

Name: Abyss and Entity

Primary form: Abyss and Entity take the form of two custom made handguns with Abyss being the black handgun and Entity being the white. The weapons magazines can hold 12 rounds each of explosive ammo before needing to reloaded. Abyss and Entity both fire explosive ammo but can fire other types of ammo if needed but Steele almost only carries explosive.

Secondary form: The two handguns come together to form a sawed-off double barrelled shotgun. The right side of the weapon is black where the other half is grey-ish white and blends together at the handle. The weapon is able to fire 12 gauge ammunition or lightning dust slugs. Steele sometimes goes as far as to use this form as a melee weapon coupled with a sawed-off while he is using his semblance.

History: His fathers old weapons given to him by his fathers team-mate and team-leader. Renamed from “Retribution” and “Endurance” to “Abyss” and “Entity” shortly after being accepted to Signal.
