Appearance:  6'1 with black fauxhawk hair. His typical combat uniform is a short sleeve military fatigue and pants with a lightweight tactical vest along with a hardened half - face mask. He also has pouches along his belt and one on his right leg. His handgun holsters are on his sides and he has a sword sheath on his back.

History: Growing up in Vale, Osric had lived a fairly standard, yet lonely, childhood. His mother was a merchant and his father was her bodyguard. They were often away from home or town. Being alone, he devoted his time to studying and training, hoping one day to join any part of the family business. His parents were loving and hard working, able to give their son a higher standard of life than they had.
Not a terribly great marksman at first, he favored swords during his training. He did understand that his sword wouldn't be the best for every situation and began training with handguns. Swords were heavy and unwieldy, pistols were smaller, lighter, and better for his overall combat situations.
In school, he enjoyed military history and strategy, studying the subjects with a passion. His studying and training would pay off upon his acceptance into Beacon. Unfortunately, nearing graduation from the academy, his parents were killed by Grimm on a business trip. Dropping out of the school, he began to travel away from the city, taking various jobs in other regions. Using his skills as a fighter, he used different names and aliases to survive. Slowly becoming desperate, he turned to the criminal underworld, eventually following the money back to Vale.
There he would take a job to rob a couple dust shops simultaneously. The heist itself would fail, but it provided him with a number of local connections and a friend. The two decided to begin working together in their jobs and endeavors, establishing the beginnings of a small criminal organization.

Personality: Seeking to enjoy life, he often takes jobs only to get by and satisfy his wants. Fond of drinking, eating, fighting and women, he truly enjoys the finer things in life. When not drinking, he's disconcertingly polite and political. He has a strong belief in loyalty and respect, expecting the same of most people. Also believes in fairness and equality for any person.

Strength:  Physical strength, strategic and tactical planning, strong leader, charismatic, cunning, and combat skills.

Weakness: By no means slow, but slower than average. Hot tempered, stubborn, and often over emotional. He tends to let his emotions and personal feelings dictate his actions, often leading him to use and leave out allies in his plans.

Semblance: As long as Osric stands still, he generates a strong force field in a dome around himself. The smaller the dome, the stronger the shield and vice versa. This can be controlled to small zones rather than surrounding him entirely. Although it doesn't consume a lot of energy, excessive use is tiring.

FIRST WEAPON

Name: Haldir

Primary Form: A hand and a half sword made from a lightweight, hardened steel.

History: Osric enjoyed the simplicity of a blade and whenever his father was in town, the two of them would slowly work to making his sword. It was the only weapon they would build together.

Aside from the blade, Osric also carries two high caliber handguns, dust powered C4, knives and tools for various thieving duties.
