The El*er Scrolls [Event] [Team AMBR]

Short range teleportation?! I gotta move! Now! Glowing bright red, Robin shot herself to the ground, it wasn't graceful, but it worked to force her body under the attack. Twisting around in a desperate attack, Robin swung her right sided sword in attempt to regain some ground.

David saw the blasts coming. "And there's are rat gentlemen.." He said hitting a button on his back. Two small turrets popped up on his back pack. "Suppressing fire." He said while opening fire in the direction from where the Ice blast came from. "Don't use any fire based stuff, I got normal rounds on, fire will cause that cloud of smoke to become a wall of fire"

"You deal with the rat I'll take care of the mouse," Byron said as he rushed forward, transforming Thanatos into its weapon form and grabbing hold of its two guns. Byron shoots multiple times at Olivia as she rushes towards them aiming for her legs and her chest. Though taking offensive action, Bryon takes a defensive stance with his knees slightly bent with his left foot standing on its heel while his right is on its toes. This stance will keep him ready to spin or rotate to allow his mantle of blades to defend him from attacks if any come.

Axel opened fire with Spite at the source of the icy blasts. "I guess the smoke's not quite as thick as you think it is," said Axel to David, in a unsmiling jest.

Oh come on! Robin cringed, having no time to think about things, she ungracefully launched herself from the spot and sent herself hurtling along the ground. She couldn't completely avoid the blast, as some ice had gotten her. But she had lived for a little while longer.

"Regroup!" Robin yelled, picking herself up and holding her side where she got iced.

Byron walked over to Robin's side calmly. "Well that was rather boring," Byron remarked, "And it sounds like we've started attracting some grimm. We failed to smoke out a rat but it seems we're about to find something else come out."

"Just as I said," said Axel. "I don't like being unable to see what's coming at us, but given that the smoke overwhelms almost all the senses, it's unlikely that the Grimm would be able to sense much past the smoke apart from our return fire. Perhaps it would be wise to stay here."

"Only a few Grimm could see through that screen. The King Taijitu, Deathstalkers, and Insecti. But since none of those roar like that, I have no clue what it is."

"I'm more worried about the fact those two just left like that." Robin reminded them of the beating they were just in, "And for the record, staying here is a really bad idea. With all the noise we created, it won't be long before more Grimm show up. We need to leave."

"We're being surrounded," said Axel. "On second thought, we should make a breakout back the way we came before the smoke clears to avoid being attacked from all sides. Regardless of what we do though, a fight's going to be unavoidable."

"Agreed. But we need something to cover our escape. Bryon? You said you have something?" Robin asked, signalling them to be ready to move.

"Something more like a distraction rather then a cover," Byron stated, "I guess it would depend on what ends up coming out. It should at least stall for time. Just give me the signal."

Davids eyes widen. "Oh god no not that hell hole again!"

"Hell hole?" Robin glanced at David, "What do you-nevermind. Just get ready..." She raised her hand, and let it drop,"Now!"

"Welcome.... to my Wonderland."

In an instant his semblance changed the entire field. The forest, the trees, and even the ground itself disappeared and was replace with a whole new world.

The two stood on ground paved made up of strings of red yarn in a city with buildings shaped strangely in twisting and spiral forms, colored ever color of the rainbow. The sky was bright purple and has a single giant eye looking down on the world. Instead of clouds there are giant fish skeletons floating in the air clattering and chattering like bony flags swaying in the wind. Sitting on the window sills and peering from around alleys were hundreds of cats mewing and purring around them. Hovering above Byron, floating in the air, was a strange cat faunus girl wearing a purple tiger striped pattern bikini, her long blonde hair tied in a side ponytail. She giggles and waves at the group.

"Follow me!" Byron yelled as he sprinted headfirst towards a building shaped like a giant blue wedding cake. Even as Byron rams right into the building he goes right through and in seconds is already sprinting out the other side. "Follow my every movement!"

Byron has his hands out tapping against empty air, swerving and turning, avoiding the trees that weren't visibly there but where yet passes right through building by building of this circus labyrinth.

After sprinting the length of two football fields, Byron has reached the limit of where he allowed his semblance to reach, the town cut off by a border of glitter and mist where it connected with the real Emerald Forest. Once Byron saw trees and grass he stopped and turned around to see if his teammates were able to keep up.

David followed behind. He reached Byron soon afterwards. "That was her wasn't it?" He said looking worriedly around, as if watching for something.

"Hmm...How...odd," commented Axel as he caught up to Byron. He waited for everyone to stop together. "So what now, now that we're back to square one? Though we may have escaped the Grimm, they are sure to be riled up now, and it'll be harder to get through this forest."

"Well, that's quite odd." Kirkka mentions casually to herself, as nobody is even around. The mirage of colors and light suddenly appearing in the middle of a smoke filled forest was an unusual sight, but not so unheard of as to stun or shock her. She watched closely trying to make out anything through the edge of the Wonderland, skimming the edges as she monitored the various Grimm in the area. Looks like the Grimm aren't sure what to make of this. But they won't stay out of it forever...

Through the edge of the barrier, anyone looking out can see one or two beowolves at most. They are mostly scattered, either unsure how to proceed or moving around the edge. As far as you can tell, none of them have yet to jump in, but its quite possible that some Grimm were already caught up in it. Team Amber seems to be in a safe spot for the brief moment.

Robin caught up to them, having been making sure she would be the last one out.

"Well, that was strange." The sword dancer said, not out of breath in the slightest, "Anyway, we need a plan. Ideas?"

"If we ever get caught by the grimm I can turn off Wonderland in an instant to confuse them," Byron stated, "It won't keep them stunned for long but it will buy us time if ever we need it. They won't stay stunned by this for long either. It would be best if we take advantage of the confusion while it's fresh and break for the ruins."

David looked up to Byron. "Seconded. What you stick them with? Dorm? Humphrey Dumpty?"

"Sorry to say but apparently I've pulled up the cat's domain," Byron remarked looking over the colorful and strangely fuzzy buildings, "Besides, Wonderland right now is no more real then a movie on the television. It can't hurt anything. It's only purpose right now is to confuse the enemy. Nightmare is probably the most lethal of my arsenal right now but the creatures of grimm have no fear so he's useless. Right now we'll just have to rely on the cat and her bag of tricks."
