Appearance: Lean but muscular, he looks like an antrhomorphic rabbit. He has snow white fur all over his body, two long rabbit ears, a short little rabbit tail, and shaggy snow white hair. He always wears a white vest, but never buttons it up so it hangs open at the front, white jeans, a white combat belt with many pouches that hold containers of fire dust essence on his right side and ice dust essence on his left side, silver combat boots, and red fingerless gloves. That is all he ever wears. He has an 'X' shaped scar on his chest. He displays the scar proudly as proof of his perserverence in the wild.

History: Rei comes from a village that was hidden in a forest. Th village was never visited by humans, so Rei always thought that the faunus were the only species with civilization in the world. Then, at the age of 6, he and his family moved into a little suburbian town with most of its inhabitants being humans. This was when he first learned about the descrimination that the faunus face. It was also when he learned about the White Fang. At the time, the White Fang was still in its peaceful protest stage. Rei joined up with the White Fang when he was 8 and assisted with the protests. Then, when he turned 12, the White Fang put him through rigorous training, of both body and mind. He didn't know why he was put through this advanced training regimine all of a sudden, but he went along with it, figuring that there had to be some purpose to it if the White Fang thought it was best for him. He would train all day and rest all night for the next 3 years. He grew more distant from his family as his training got harder and harder. Then, at the age of 15, the White Fang revealed their plan with him. He was to be one of their best soldiers in the new White Fang army. He accepted the role and took part in some raids and strategic strikes. He quickly climbed from just a simple soldier, to being a leader of his own squad of White Fang warriors. He did this until he turned 17. During those two years, he participated in many battles. In one battle in particular, he took a sword to the chest, which made his signature scar. Then, on the day he turned 17, something terrible happened. Rei had already had a large hatred for humans, but on that day, he grew to hate all humans with an intense passion. On that day, the humans pulled a massive counter attack. This attack wiped out Rei's entire squad, and then the humans burned down his parents house, along with his entire family. He didn't mind his parents house being burned down, because he had grown apart from them entirely, disowning them as having any relation to him. However, because his squad was wiped out, he was evicted from the White Fang, due to recklessness and failure to command properly. He couldn't believe that the organization he devoted his entire life to sent him away because of one mistake, and is haunted by the visions of his squad being utterly destroyed by the human armies. After being kicked out of the White Fang, he went back to his home town, but recieved a terrible suprise. When he arrived, he found nothing but burnt ruins, ashes, dead trees, and a sign that read: 'This is what will happen to the villages of all faunus leaders. If you wish to survive, Rei, we suggest you turn yourself in.' After he finished reading the sign, he gained an utter loathing for all of humanity. He became a vigilanty and eventually, at the age of 18, was found by the headmaster of Beacon, and decided to go learn more advanced combat skills.

Personality: He is the strong silent type, and he never shows any emotions except anger and calmness. He will always keep to himself, and is not eager to make new friends at all. If anyone approaches him, unless they talk to him directly, he will ignore them. Once you become his friend, however, he becomes very open, except for certain things. He is actually very nice to any faunus, and if he sees anybody bullying a faunus, he will immediatly jump in and defend the faunus, even if it leads to a fight. He has an intense hatred for all of humanity, and refuses to cooperate with any humans, no matter what the cost, except for his life.

Strength: Due to his faunus nature, he is very fast, has very good hearing, has decent night vision, and can jump very well. Due to his training, he is very physically strong, and mentally fit. He knows how to strategize and command with all of his experience in the White Fang.

Weakness: He has an extreme case of PTSD, which can cause him to completely freeze up in any situation with a glazed expression. He will not accept any assistance from humans. Due to his fighting style, he has no way to counter any kind of ranged attack. Due to his appearance and clothing, he is not stealthy at all, and can be seen in any environment, including snowy, due to his gloves and piercing blue eyes. He never learned how to swim, so if you can find a way to get him underwater, he has to be saved by somebody else.

Semblance: Blood Vision: When he activates his semblance, his vision goes red and all hostile lifeforms become the humans that killed his troop. During this time, he goes completely crazy and disregards all safety and rushes all enemies, going all out on one until it dies, then moves on to the next one. His semblance can go on for awhile, due to his training, but he tends to use too much of it at times, and passes out from exhaustion. During that time, he is extremely vulnerable and can easily be beaten.

Name: The Solar Flare and The Lunar Freeze

First Weapon: The Solar Flare are the gloves he always wears. They have a thick metal disk on each of the knuckles to maximize the damage he does to enemies. The gloves can have some dust essence loaded into the, but it will only work with fire dust essence. When he loads one in, the gloves burst into flames that won't burn him, but they will burn anything he hits.

Second Weapon: The Lunar Freeze are the combat boots he always wears. They have five thick metal disks where the toes are. The boots can also be injected with dust essence, but it only works with ice dust essence. When he  injects some in, the outside of the boots become a temperature of -100 degrees celcius. This enables him to instantly freeze water, so he can run across any body of water. If he kicks something with the boots, it has the effect of liquid nitrogen, instantly freezing it. They don't freeze his feet however, due to an extremely temperature fabric between the freezing area and the inside area of the boot.  

History: He was required to make some weapons during his vigorous training, and due to his training in close quarters combat and nothing else, he designed some weapons he could have on at all times. Because he never learned to swim, and he was always scared of water, he added the ice dust powers onto his combat boots to enable him to run across water, so he can minimize his dependence on swimming, so he always carrys ice dust essence to help him with crossing deep bodies of water.
